My son displayed a flag on Memorial Day. A woman came into his yard and demanded that the Homeowners Association requested its removal. Since he is a veteran it did not go well. He later found out she was some random person trying to cause neighborhood problems. The flag stood!

My neighbor's a/c isn't working right on this super hot, flag celebrating weekend. It won't shut off, and it's getting pretty frosty in her apartment! At 90 degrees, it's a bad time to have that problem.
Was so glad to see you both at Stitch-con B!! What a blast. Loved seeing my friend Athena was the gold flosstuber. I have to tell you a story about how Athena and I became friends. It was my first Stitch-con. I knew Athena because she had purchased bags from me but never met in person. I didn’t go home on Sunday like I do now because I didn’t realize people would be leaving that day. I did finally get to meet Athena there in person. I told her she was so tall and she told me I was so short (so Athena 😂). Anyway I ended up alone at my table since everyone was gone. Athena came up to me and told me to join her table where I met other new stitchers who have since become my friends😊. Athena and I hang out at retreats when we are both there and she has room for me at her table. Athena is a ton of fun and just a super caring person. Our flag is still out and it’s super hot so I’m sending my husband out to get me a Frosty😊
Stitch-Con 2024 just was not in the cards for me this year. I’m fine with that decision, however… the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)!!! Seeing the recaps… of my goodness!!! So for now I will fly my flag proud of this flawed country I live in, and I’m happy you are back!! See you next week!

And the beach pattern reminds me of living in Erie, PA and visiting Presque Isle, where the wind often blew across the beach and made Uncle Bob's Hawaiian shirt flap wildly like a flag in a hurricane, confusing nearby seagulls into thinking it was mating season for laundry.

Hi Pam & Steph! I see you had a blast for your June month. Happy to hear of it. Pam, on your birthday start of BATTER UP, when Steph asked about the scores, did you think about the year 20 for VISITOR and then 24 for HOME? Would that work? Reflecting the start of your work and birthday? Just an idea? Maybe Steph can do your numbers? The thought automatically came to me when I was watching the video. You are a fantastic stitcher and have been doing it for years, I'm confident that you can stitch those numbers! I'm also a baseball fan. Of course the Cleveland team is my favorite ( I mostly grew up in Lima Ohio and also lived in Cleveland. When I was little, I saw the Reds play. I just love baseball. I still call Cleveland, the Indians and have several Chief Wahoo items and have been at Jacob's Field (Well to me it still is!) HaHa. I miss Kings Island. 😊 Happy stitching you two! Kathy
As the FLAG blew lazily on the front porch, I enjoyed my FROSTY HOT mug of cappuccino, while listening to the furries charge through the house and around their tree and back down the hall. My bucket list is getting long. I really would like to make it to Stich Con.

Living in the Lake Tahoe area we have lots of bears, who get hot and swim in the lake while people sit on the beach and watch.Some visitors leave food, back backs etc on the beach. Fun fact - I live in Youngsville NY and it tickled me to hear you mention it... it's a very tiny town about 6 miles from the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. The blue fox pushed me over the edge into breaking my chart diet.. but it is so adorable that I don't feel like I'm cheating! Happy birthday Pam! I can't think of a better ballpark to spend a weekend in. (Even being a Mets fan lol) My best friend lives in the greater Cincinnati area and is a season ticket holder. When the All Star game came to town she invited me to share the festivities with her, and it was an incredible once in a lifetime experience. 🪡👠

Oh Steph! I am also stitching the Mill Hill baseball. Started last fall during playoffs but put it away when the Phillies lost to Arizona. I just got it out again and stitch during the games. So fun, and I totally get your love for the Sox as I feel similarly for the Phillies! I just love baseball and have fond memories of my little brother and I listening to the poor Cleveland Indians games in the late 1970s while we shot pool in the basement of our non-air-conditioned home in North Canton, Ohio, to try and stay cool! I was the scorekeeper and my dad was the manager of my brother's little league team. Baseball ⚾️ is a great sport!

I live in Massachusetts where 1 minute the house is hot and humid 🥵and I cannot tolerate that, so then I out the AC on to make it feel frosty!! 🥶 Luckily my husband and I agree on the house temp. Phew! There is no way that I can stitch on all of my WIP’s without being cool.

My neighbor's a/c isn't working right on this super hot, flag celebrating weekend. It won't shut off, and it's getting pretty frosty in her apartment! At 90 degrees, it's a bad time to have that problem.
Was so glad to see you both at Stitch-con B!! What a blast. Loved seeing my friend Athena was the gold flosstuber. I have to tell you a story about how Athena and I became friends. It was my first Stitch-con. I knew Athena because she had purchased bags from me but never met in person. I didn’t go home on Sunday like I do now because I didn’t realize people would be leaving that day. I did finally get to meet Athena there in person. I told her she was so tall and she told me I was so short (so Athena 😂). Anyway I ended up alone at my table since everyone was gone. Athena came up to me and told me to join her table where I met other new stitchers who have since become my friends😊. Athena and I hang out at retreats when we are both there and she has room for me at her table. Athena is a ton of fun and just a super caring person.
Our flag is still out and it’s super hot so I’m sending my husband out to get me a Frosty😊

Stitch-Con 2024 just was not in the cards for me this year. I’m fine with that decision, however… the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)!!! Seeing the recaps… of my goodness!!! So for now I will fly my flag proud of this flawed country I live in, and I’m happy you are back!! See you next week!

That little mouse in Ethel's designs makes me smile. And the beach pattern reminds me of living in Erie, PA and visiting Presque Isle, where the wind often blew across the beach and made Uncle Bob's Hawaiian shirt flap wildly like a flag in a hurricane, confusing nearby seagulls into thinking it was mating season for laundry.

Reflecting the start of your work and birthday? Just an idea? Maybe Steph can do your numbers? The thought automatically came to me when I was watching the video.
You are a fantastic stitcher and have been doing it for years, I'm confident that you can stitch those numbers!
I'm also a baseball fan. Of course the Cleveland team is my favorite ( I mostly grew up in Lima Ohio and also lived in Cleveland. When I was little, I saw the Reds play. I just love baseball. I still call Cleveland, the Indians and have several Chief Wahoo items and have been at Jacob's Field (Well to me it still is!) HaHa. I miss Kings Island. 😊

As the FLAG blew lazily on the front porch, I enjoyed my FROSTY HOT mug of cappuccino, while listening to the furries charge through the house and around their tree and back down the hall. My bucket list is getting long. I really would like to make it to Stich Con.

Welcome back after your amazing birthday adventures and wonderful whirlwinds of Stitch Con! Your tales of adventures made me look for a frosty drink, so I could relax and enjoy your stories!! Living in the Lake Tahoe area we have lots of bears, who get hot and swim in the lake while people sit on the beach and watch.Some visitors leave food, back backs etc on the beach. When the All Star game came to town she invited me to share the festivities with her, and it was an incredible once in a lifetime experience. 🪡👠

Oh Steph! I am also stitching the Mill Hill baseball. Started last fall during playoffs but put it away when the Phillies lost to Arizona. I just got it out again and stitch during the games. So fun, and I totally get your love for the Sox as I feel similarly for the Phillies! I just love baseball and have fond memories of my little brother and I listening to the poor Cleveland Indians games in the late 1970s while we shot pool in the basement of our non-air-conditioned home in North Canton, Ohio, to try and stay cool! I was the scorekeeper and my dad was the manager of my brother's little league team. Baseball ⚾️ is a great sport!
Hello!! I am so glad that you all had a great time at Stitch Con 2024!! I enjoyed watching so many of the recaps. I live in Massachusetts where 1 minute the house is hot and humid 🥵and I cannot tolerate that, so then I out the AC on to make it feel frosty!! 🥶 Luckily my husband and I agree on the house temp. Phew! There is no way that I can stitch on all of my WIP’s without being cool.
