There's nothing wrong with defining expected Source game behaviour, it ensures everyone's on the same page about the basic mechanics before explaining a higher concept. Source spaghetti especially doesn't help.
0:14 i will fight against this video forever, the cheaters were using bad cheats. If you got 10 big namer cheaters using their software of choice, it would take like 20 cheaters.
yeah, using a sourcemod server plugin is extremely limited and isn't fully representative of what cheaters can do. but its the best shounic could reasonably do without making people download *actual* cheats and risk getting banned. i think he touches on it and says its not super scientific, so i don't think he's being unfair. but he does have an issue with letting his actual point get lost in a sea of overly-clinical passive voice. people only ever take away the 20+ minutes of careful dissection on how the cheaters perform, and not the 20 seconds at the end where he says "this isn't super accurate so take literally everything i said with a grain of salt". kinda the same way people go "guys, please don't harass this person pretty please. anywhere heres a 3 hour youtube documentary of how this autistic kid was like really cringe and stuff lmao" obviously they're not the same level of importance, but my point is that you can't just leave one of the most important takeaways of your video as just a 30 second blurb that everyone ignores and have tons and tons of footage that gives a different impression.
@@aneasteregg8171 exactly, but its still frustrating when videos like shounic's are used to baselessly argue against things like the #fixtf2 movement or the bot crisis or sniper and such, when that wasn't even the argument shounic wanted to convey. and yet, that's the argument that gets across. he goes to great lengths to minimize his own opinions from his videos, to the point he starts to argue for a position he doesn't even believe in sometimes.
