I had camera permissions fault and found nowhere to correct the problem. I eventually uninstalled the HDMI Link app and reinstalled it, all working now.
I have the single cable Hagibis capture but doesn't work on my PS5. I gave perms to camera usb and mic but i get audio only. I even went into PS5 and set it to 1920x1080 only same thing, no video just audio which cuts in and out.
I got the same HAGiBiS 60Hz USB3.0 HDMI capture card but I seem to have issues with casting my Switch. When I connect it, it only shows a black screen in the quest 3. Nothing else besides the information bottom right, YUY2 between 60-61 frames and if I flip the cable 50 frames. I tried it both with and without powering the Switch through PD but no luck. Any idea what could be the issue or what I am doing wrong? Note, I also tried with my iPad Mini and Steamdeck and both connected in seconds and work without issue so I assume the card is not broken. Btw thanks for the guides!
Are you using the HDMI cable that I showed in the video, with power connected? Nintendo Switch won't work on a separate screen without its power being connected.
@@Thomas_Voland no, I use a different HDMI cable that should support 4K UHD and now I also tried 2 other HDMI cables but no luck. I also tried to just connect the HDMI capture card without the extention but still just the black screen. I use Hyper model hd319b as my hub, idk if maybe that could be the issue? I charge the switch with my steamdeck charger (45W) through it and the switch shows the charging icon. Guess I will just wait and see if maybe a future update allows me to connect the switch.
@@LittleScampi I don’t know why this is happening. I and many other people use Switch on this card and for us it works perfect. You can also try to change some options in Video settings of Switch like Full or limited range etc.

only issue i had was with the usbc cable i was trying to use. it would only allow audio if plugged in a certain way and would disconnect often and if you bumped the plug it would disconnect too
I don't understand it. Today the Hagibis Capture card shown in the video arrived from Ali Express. All 4 points in the HDMI link are checked. Nevertheless, I get no picture and no sound. My I5 create delivers a perfect picture and sound under the same conditions. What am I doing wrong with the Hagibis?
@@HSSixty hard to say - so many people already got this card but this is the first time when it’s not working. Maybe you are very unlucky and your unit is broken and needs to be replaced, but you should test it on other equipment like on PC or at least on Quest in USB Camera app. HDMI Link is a very new app, this is still beta (they call it prototype) and since Apple released Vision Pro, updates of Horizon OS are even more buggy than before because they push new features so hard, so a lot of things can be the reason. Also check if you have newest version of OS just in case.
Option easy and simple: th-cam.com/video/Yw6t8gM4op8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-WaH5QscfiL9TCSk Option for every capture device: th-cam.com/video/t2Wjy35Iaa8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-FJXXEqTH4RFpwkg
When connecting my nintendo switch, theres no audio or the audio is unbelievably crackly and distorted and very quiet. How do i fix this please? Thank you!
It's explained in my video about Nintendo Switch: th-cam.com/video/I6AWoC1IXzw/w-d-xo.html. You cannot have surround sound on stereo speakers. When you change it in the settings, the sound will be normal.
I bought the same video capture card. if I connect the card to hdmi and then the card directely to the headset. For me I do not get a superspeed only a high speed connection indicating no usb 3.o connection (?) Could this be due to the hdmi cable? Edit: i have tried it on different hdmis. One says it does 4k at 120fps so it shouldnt be the hdmi ether. Is it maybe my laptop being shitty? Maybe also windows is not casting 60fps to the quest as an external screen. I will check that next time.
@@Thomas_Voland great thanks for the quick respose. I am getting MJPEG indeed at 50fps max for hd resolution. i have the yuy option but i have disregarderded the yuy because that only runs at 10fps max for hd res. @@Thomas_Voland I did try that thats what i meant with "turning it around" upside down would have been the better wording. I just tried the same thing on my xbox. For that one it worked. Ill try to return it and get a new one.

The easiest way is to sideload Aurora app. It’s shop with almost every Android app directly from Google Play. From there you can install USB Camera and its updates in the future. However for the equipment from my video HDMI Link works perfectly.

It was the mic bug for me. I never use the mic and always keep it muted, so I wouldn't have figured it out without someone explaining the bug.
