⚡🤙🏼 *Dream board would be Boosted form factor, Caliber III raked trucks, 20miles range,* although that Bustin custom looks 🤩⚡ Great group ride footage man, nice variety of boards. One of the big downsides of group rides is havin to ride extra cautious in case someone carves in front and creeps up behind as I carve.
@@electropsychosis you are too kind my friend, I too want to be as cool as Scotty... but you're the cool one, with your awesome clips and chill vibes 🤙🏼🤙🏼
That board he's riding is my dream board 😍 it was love at first sight when I first saw the NYX Z-1. I just got into e-transportation with the Onewheel GT now I'm in love with this board by Acedeck, and I will have it before this year ends.
Footage turned out great! Just puts into perspective how loud my prototipo actually is with that closeup shot. 😅 Thanks for coming, mate! Hopefully help with your new year’s resolution with some more epic events coming up. 🤙🏻
I used to wear just a helmet and about 6 months ago I fell at about 18 mph dodging a speed bump and fell. I shredded my knees and couldn't walk for about a week. I haven't got the courage to get back on yet but if I do those knee and elbow pads look safe. I thought looking cool was all that mattered and now bending down on my knees tells me otherwise. I would have to say Baja Board G4X I live in the desert and would love to take some trails.
I’m guilty to f just putting a helmet on as well, been really trying hard to remember the pads Glad your ok, and hope your back on your board soon, High speed slides are scary
What a great video Scott I really enjoyed it I have just started to get into Electric Skateboards and your video's are a huge help would love to go for a cruise around with you one day in the future. So lucky to have the protective gear on. Thx for the Vid
Deck boosted mini X or tynee mini 2, as lightwait as possible. Wheels both skatewheels and tubwheels for offrade. Range 50 km speed 60 km / h. I now ride a Boosted mini x and Tynee Explorer for offroad.
Ahh a man after my own heart ! The Boosted mini x deck was as close to perfect as I think you can get got a shirt board. The mini 2 is beautiful re-imagination of that I had a X but just never fell in love with the reverse brake
The Ares X1 ticks most of the boxes for me... Would really dig you doing a DIY build though! Random question Scott since I've watched you ride so many boards from so many manufacturers and you are a heavier than average rider like I am. In all your time eskating have you ever broken a truck?
I would like to DIY it, the problem doing so is the cost is much higher as their increase their margins on per part where complete boards are marked up on the final gross cost. At least you can maintain it, upgrade etc. hope the crash wasn't too bad. I got bursitis still on my shoulders among other health issues so still trying to work them out. have fun!
That’s partially true, but when you compare what each component does that complete boards’ components can’t do the value to cost comparison makes sense, as well as if you look at a brand like Evolve and a similar spec DIY their individual parts cost about the same while getting less in a lot of cases anyway.
My favorite board is the Tynee explorer is a powerful board and have a lot of tork, i also have the exway atlas is not than powerful than the explorer but is very fun ride because of the DTKP. Also i have a tynee pro board😂
Big accident is the reason why I try not to join in big group rides. I'd go for a ride with couple of buddies. This can happen to anyone as you go along with group, someone in front of you would suddenly start carving aggressively [not to be named]. Glad you and other dude is okay.
Dream board: Something like an exway atlas 4WD with Auxpack and fast charger. Swap out the crap dkp trucks for tkp/rkp trucks, make it wide like your board but with a normal kinpin. WATERPROOF... none of this crappy water damaged ESC after a light rain. I want to be able to submerge my board in a puddle and not worry about it. Battery tech improvements, smaller footprint while maintaining range. 100km minimum because lets be honest real life range = 1/2 of whatever a manufacturer says. Gear drive potentially or just the option for consumers. Probably metal gears though for reliability. And ALL THE DETAILS correctly done. Smart turn on, integrated lights, large hardware that doesn't snap, a flipping handle that works, good bearings, good bushings, good washers, properly sealed enclosures, properly made batteries, charge protection, comes with a fireproof bag for at home safety.... the list goes on and on.
Hi Scott, hope you been well? The guy with the Hoyt board, what was his dream board that he mentioned? I’m looking to get a board for the summer but not sure. Leaning towards Ownboard Zeus at the moment.
The NYX has a lot more torque The Endevor is a little easier to turn, but the NYX can very easily be upgraded to turn amazingly well If I had to only chose one the NYX would get my money If you had a lot of off-road the Endeavour would like be a little smoother
Hey, The knee and elbow are nobleman Really comfortable & breathable If you use SCOTTD it adds a little discount www.noblemantech.com/products/cx-1-pro-pads-collection
Very high quality video, loved the content of dream boards, whose riding what, and most importantly positivity to new riders. Wish people would be ok with minis or gtx’s. I’ve bought my dream board, but need to customize the setup. It’s the propel endeavor 2. The only things I would change is to make it a 4WD gear drive on a hadean deck. Maybe even a 14s, but for hill climbing. I don’t want to ride over 50km/30 mph 🎉Just for hill climbing. Again Scott your cinematography’s really gotten good. Always loved your channel. Hope you can fly out to the Vegas esk8con
Massive thanks to Nobleman for the gear to giveaway
Please use SCOTTD at check out for an additional discount and same code all for Acedeck boards
Cheers Scott and Nobleman for the kneepads, they're bloody fantastic. So light and with the knee pivot, I can barely tell I'm wearing them.
1.5 yrs on and those Nobleman knee pads are still going strong!

Yea that custom Bustin was beautiful and nice to ride as well.

Dream board is the one you have but Gen1 GTR with 6 inch AT with the Phaze remote, couldnt ask for more really. 40k an hour is fast enough.

6:17 a bamboo what sir? lol Noice
😂 even worse since my NZ trip
Dream board- maybe the Acedeck NYX Z1
Totally agree
The power and handling and ride comfort is s hard to pass by.
Everyone that tried it yesterday was like 😯 wow
Bamboo Aries x1 with drop down deck , adjustable gear drive for wheel options and the power and range of Nyx.
Sounds like we have the same dream !!!
Super glad I found this channel. We looking at going over to Australia as a new home and saving money for a board.
Have fun
Awesome clip, well done. Planning on a Exway wave for my first board 👍👍

Thanks for planning and taking the lead !
Yea the good old GoPro does a good job especially when paired with the max lens mod
So lucky mate. Hope the other rider is ok too. Love the group rides. Definitely looking forward to seeing more of them.

Dream Board : acedeck NYX Z1. Thanks for the video :)
Yea I hear ya, this is one impressive board.
Takes a little to dial in the trucks but once you do, whoa look out it’s a ton of fun
Already got my dream board: Lacroix Lonestar Super Sport
Ohhh nice board !!
I’ve tried once !
Enjoy you're content man!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!
Thanks mate appreciate the feedback !

u savageeee! 😝 blastin through the group ride 😂. glad ur ok brotha.
dreamboard: the meepo bamboo hurricane ultra tkp with molicel & 105 dad bods
Yeah it was a great shot blasting through up to the point of impact 😬
Haha yep 😂
Scott you were supposed to protect the younger riders LOL . 😆. The x1 in 2wheel drive is what I crave . Love your work .

Looks like you guys had an excellent time 😎
I just love the Zeus with the awesome anodised parts 😍 get well soon with your ankle... also the other rider which got picked up.
Ahhh yes gotta stop for a "soft drink" dream board: Bamboo, gear drive, 40km range(old knees can't take much more) and no more than 12kg
The Ares X1 ticks most of the boxes for me... Would really dig you doing a DIY build though!
Random question Scott since I've watched you ride so many boards from so many manufacturers and you are a heavier than average rider like I am. In all your time eskating have you ever broken a truck?
Hey mate , DIY Is coming soon !!
No never broke a truck. Well, only once but that was when a car ran me over and landed on top of the board 😬
Nice work Scott and Nobleman, that’s an awesome way to sponsor a video. Where do the group rides in Brisbane get posted?
Hi mate this FB has heaps of regular rides.

got to watch out for those other riders
My dream board in my mind, gear drive and great range (and doesn't cost as much as a Laxroix 😂)
Cool groupride🎉 nobleman tech gear is the best forsure.

Still a secret, I’ll let you know soon !!!
What range did you get on this ride?
Hi mate this was about 29-30km,
My Z1 still was asking 56.7%
I’ve got a full range test below 👇

🎶🎵🎼🎶🎵🥳👍✌️💥
Guy with no helmet needs to get on board with gear! (pun intended).
Looks like the guy that crashed wasn't wearing a helmet or pads (and on an evolve)
Not an Evolve …… this time 😉
Sucks because he was going very slow compared to his usual pace on the way to get his gear (board is a DIY bustin sportster build)
How'd it happen?
Just bad luck, bad timing, bad road
Damn. Hope he's okay then.
