    I was at the Rochester show last month & was lucky/blessed enough to have booked a room at the same hotel the entire roster stayed at. So many were commiserating at the bar into the wee hours including Tony. I didn't want to encroach or anything, sort of just hung back & basked in the glory of AEW-someness having waited 18 months to go, and the momentous occasion to yet again pay tribute to Brodie. Tony walked by me briefly, and I just said "Thank you Mr. Kahn, for everything." and he stopped mid-step, turned to me and said "No, thank YOU!" T.K. is a wonderful human being.

Tony came over and said “hey man, come on let him go”. The Iron Sheikh said “ok” and let go of me. I looked up and thanked Tony. He just smiled at me and walked off into the distance. I sat there for a while, thinking to myself about what a nice guy he was. Then the Iron Sheik returned and put me back in the camel clutch. So that was the day i met Tony Khan.

    I just hope wrestlers keep as much of their creative freedom as possible, even if Tony has now a closer eyes what appears on the show and what not. Because one reason why wrestlers feel better in AEW than they did in WWE is that they got a lot of creative freedom back.
    What makes me sad the most about Brodie Lee's death is that he was forced to waste a lot of time because of his WWE contract. Imagine how much more he could have done before he died?
    I hope Vince feels guilty!

    • @menacelurkingyet8345

      Wrestlers keeping their creative freedom is one of the reasons WCW failed.

    • @casualgerman1949
      @casualgerman1949 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@menacelurkingyet8345 I think we know that there are other easons why WcW failed and not wrestlers creativity.
      But you can't say that WWE is doing better with feeding their wrestlers lines and turn almost every idea they pitch to Vince down. Because the writing in WWE sucks ass.
