I found it better to let the steve player make the diamond tools at high percents. Though they have rage, you can easily knock them out once they make the tools.

@@TheAcer176 Also if Steve does choose to make Diamond tools at those unfavorable percents, it is most likely when they're able to mine a bit more and end up getting another Diamond anyway.

@@zerodiversion4509 bruh it will take them a while before they get diamond again, but if thats their game plan tho just try to prevent them from mining by constantly putting pressure on them.

I haven’t watched the full video yet, but here are some tips that I’ve learned from maining Steve.
1. Minecart into up smash: When someone is at a low percentage, you can trap them into a minecart. When they jump out, you can punish them with an up smash.
2: When recovering, use your minecart. The minecart is amazing for recovering.
3: Use upsmash more. I’ve seen a lot of people play Steve and I’ve notice that they don’t use upsmash to often, even though it is one of the most punishing moves in the game. Sometimes you can keep enemies in the air by upsmashing constantly.
4: Blocks are overpowerd. You can use blocks to just straight up block recoveries. It even works on teleport recoveries!

Before I watched your videos about beating Steve, I beat three Steve players separately with Byleth. I went extremely close to Steve. A few times, I risked using slow moves to beat the players.

4:38. Ok so actually i disagree with this part. Alex got diamonds at high %. I would have let her craft diamond weapons because once she dies, she goes back to wood. If she dies before she crafts, the diamonds will stay in her inventory and she will have them for next stock.

She is at a very high percent, so to her, her stock is disposable. She won't craft diamond either way, or she'll just wait till she gets two diamond kits.
