Thats the up and downs of the job David, great banter between you both in the jeep 😂
Plenty of ups and downs in farming but we're well used to it Adrian. The craic is good when we get it goin 😜
Love the interaction with your wife! Good video!
Your wife is awesome. You two make quite a pair!
Easy done Davie every one has left livestock in the field you are always thinking something else, really enjoyed the interaction with your good lady, Robbie's van must have been in some mess needing a bucket of water in the foot well, great video good luck to you and the family
Thank you George. Good to know I'm not alone 😀
Congratulations David. That was a highly impressive and entertaining video. Great work.
Hi Alan, Thank you very much 👍
Great mix of stuff in there David. Ups and downs included not like the lads showing that its always rosey in the garden. That is what makes your content watchable. Your honesty is commendable given that its not easy to show the failings with so many on social media just waiting to pounce on any mistake. Thanks very much. Best of luck with the Rams.👍🤞
Thanks so much. I think it's important to shocw the bad stuff too. If farmers only see all being rosey it makes them feel bad about their own farm when things go wrong!
You are a good man David. There were some challenges, but you met them head on. Cheers to your lovely family. 😊❤️
😊 thank you Linda..
Happy sunday mate great content as usual.thanks.

Good man Thomas, enjoyed the chat. Thank you 👍
Your wife is hilarious she should be more videos she says it's like it is😂😂
Definitely not afraid to speak her mind 🤣
Great vid, get the feet of the dash though Orla, very dangerous!
Thanks for the tip 👌
Awww, your wife is so pretty!!
She is a great one ❤
Your wife has fantastic sense of humour 😂 and lovely looking women ,
Every sheep farmer has been in the same predicument.a single animal to catch somewhere😂,tested ur patience well done, great video
Thank you 👍
Not a simple task...🤦♂️
If the ram knows about the rattle of a bucket or the shake of a bag, that can help in getting him where you want.
Unfortunately the rams or younger stock are not familiar with the bucket..
@@sheepschool365 then that is a good thing. With rams fed on grass you get longevity and a genuine picture of potential.
The boss has spoken 😂😂
The boss is right.. Lucky to have someone in control of the finances 🤣
Yeah enjoyed it David, not sure about the feet up on the dash of the cruiser but anyway.
It's a habit we're trying to break, glad you enjoyed it 👌
The ram.. "God rest his soul" is the best statement from your unfortunate wife😂
Orlaith, like Robbie has some great one liners and a witty tongue 🤣
Big stand at the ploughing next year Davy😂
Ya never know what next year will bring 😁
Interesting video
Thanks 👌
Hi Dave, you are right one sheep is difficult. I do this job lots and found that its better to break the ewe to a fighting response (if she will turn) and just keep circles on her with the dog. The ewe will then get close to you because you are less of a threat. I catch with my crook or my leather belt and walk the ewe to the wagon. If shes really full of spirit then you catch her in the field, hog tie her legs with your belt and drive too her. Even if she manages to find the ground under her hooves, your dog will have a better chance of stopping her from breaking. I have thousands of large, tough commercial ewes that rarely see a dog so then you need a tough dog with bite. Even if things get out of hand, and you draw red, ewes faces heal up fast. It is good practice to treat the face wound afterwards but i have never experienced a ewe die from such and injury. My sister just keeps a small bucket of grain ready all the time...i think grain is expensive and shes just scared of a challenge! 😅
Always a good plan to have a length of baler twine in your pocket for eventualities, that way your trousers stay up.
Definitely a challenge, think that sums up sheep farming in general! 🤣
That failed ram would make a great ram for breeding to first time lambers in a commercial flock, easy lambing and the ewe lambs would make great replacement ewes. Just a wee hint to your wife for future videos...legs akimbo malapropos.
There be a smell of sheep in the office 😂😂😂😂😂
Dave will you explain to your wife the dangers of putting their feet up on the dash it doesn't take much for the air bag to go off it's unthinkable what damage it would do. Great videos 👍
Thanks Patrick, you are dead right, not a great habit 👌
Comedy gold ❤😂😂😂
What age are them rams 🐏
They are 16 months old. Hogget or shearling rams..
@@sheepschool365 thanks
Does she not know that’s no ordinary Landcruiser it’s an Amazon , King of the Toyota jeeps 💪💪💪
All she knows it didn't smell great after being in a piggery 🤣
Definitely the King of all jeeps 💪

Drop me an email, sheepschool2022@gmail.com. I might have a ram for you 👍
The look in Orla's eyes says to me that she loves you but this is pushing it
Just keeping her goin 😜
i feel for you, brother - i was doing that m self last night
Farming can be a tough game with a thick skin required most days 🫣
How many km on that jeep ? Diesel 4.8 L
It's the older HDH100 engine 4.2 L in-line 6 cylinder. 420,000km on the clock.
Unbelievably reliable machine 💪
Up Galway!!!
Hard luck in football..👌
Whare is the new dog
Wondering same.
Still in training and coming along well, really should have brought her out for that ram job. Poor Pops really out of her depth on that job....
Looking forward to seeing new dog in action. Can’t beat a young strong dog for the tough jobs.
@johncullen9177 Badly needed, jobs like that expose all Pop's faults..
Great banter with herself, David. She's some woman!
Some woman is right 😁
It not be long until you will be at the ploughing championship
Who knows what next year will bring 👌
Robey started a car wash
Industrial valeting 😜
I think that sheep died from black leg
Double vaccinated against that but you never know...
He didn't die of blackleg he had been fighting with another ram and he set his neck broke his neck i mean i used to be a shepherd working amongst sheep for years and ive seen it all nearly friend
