I can’t wait to do that! I wanna take to it to a milsim. Not as a technical of course lol. I’d be pissed if it got shot.

Hi, I'm from Medellin, Colombia. I really like the work you are doing, I have a 1994 Suzuki Super Carry and I also want to do the same job here in someone who does it, but I have several questions that I would really like if you could help me solve them. The engine that I am going to use in my project is a 110hp k13 from nissan versa, the original is 44hp as it is more than double how the handling feels and the response worries me that it is a lot and that it is more unstable than it is and the Another question is my car has the engine under the front seats, obviously the distribution of weights changes by placing it almost in the center of the car, how does it feel? In general terms I need to know the acceleration and power when driving are controllable or is it dangerous. Thank you very much and please upload videos when you are ready

    This looks interesting.
That small D engine looks like it fits pretty well.
Although, it is sticking up out into the meh which is kind of meh.
I am wondering if you could have used coilovers or new longer springs to give enough vertical room for the engine?
It looks like it sticks up by roughly 3-5 inches? That seems a feasible amount to lift by?
From what I can tell it is attached to the upper part of the frame maybe?
I have been thinking about getting one of the dump-model flatbed ones for farm work and trying to upgrade the engine to something that is still small. But can actually sustain highway speeds. I have heard of people turbocharging k-trucks before. That would get more power, but I am some what concerned with a tiny 660cc engine that a turbo would end up blowing the engine. Since they tend to be over-stressed when it goes 70ish generally. Although, maybe if the issue is overheating it might be fine since the turbo would help with any heat issues.
From my looking arround a turbo would probably only give another 10 hp or so anyways?
And I feel like getting something in the 80-120 hp range would probably be better. If it has good low rpm torque even better.
I had originally been looking for 1 liter engines, but I couldn't find anything JDM availible.
But this one looks like a nice small 4 cylinder.
Although, I guess I could maybe try getting a hold of one of the Ford 1.0 L eco engines. From my research about them they tend to have problems.

Yep everything you said can be done. Lifting the van for room for bed/ floor clearance can be done. For me I thought about everything too but overall I want to lower the van for wind stability.
A dump Version would cool because you could raise the bed higher for room.
Texas toot did that with this bed in his acty truck but I’ll require some I welding and welding of course. Not really a big deal if your doing a swap anyways.

@@TrungTheMaker hmm, are Texas toot a youtuber? I haven't heard of them.
Raising it would make the handling worse. So, it is better to avoid it.
But, no longer having a flatbed has a significant impact on how useful they are.

Unless I'm mistaken , you chose a d series right? Why D and not another engine from a bike? Some guys did a goldwing swap. We're you able to find this engine for cheap?

    • @TrungTheMaker

Hey brother, I wanted the d because it’s the smallest, and I got the a whole donor car for 500 bucks and I wanted awd. Also d series parts are cheap.

@@TrungTheMaker I wish you lived nearby haha , I would've loved to learn more about this, I have to choose between kei vans or just going with a chevy. How about for hp ? Are you going to add a turbo or anything?

@Gutallama Did you even read what I wrote? If he chose a D series it's due to tbe fact he knows what to expect from it, he's already done custom work, I sought to take the conversation to a direction to learn, he's going to get it to run regardless lol.
