Get the higher trim level. The acceleration in lx model is weak. Also if you have 7 passengers in the car and driving uphill you’ll feel the engine working hard. Test drive other suvs before getting this one.
I just got this exact vehicle as a rental for 7 days. Pros: I liked the simplicity of controls. Quiet, low road noise. Plenty of power for passing cars. Drove through 12-14” of snow on a forest road in awd and not once did tires slip. Came with lane assist driving in base model. Cons: I do not think it came with adaptive cruise control. Outside temperature gauge was off by 5 degrees. MPG indicator was always off. It would consistently show 27-30 mpg driving at 60-70mph. I drove 2.5 hours uphill and calculated myself at 23mpg. I then drove 2.5 hours downhill and got 39mpg. Yes 39mpg. Eugene to Bend, oregon and back. That averages to 31mpg. Very impressed by fuel mileage- just not impressed with fuel gauge metering.
i bought the 2023 LX a month ago. I wish I had researched it before going to dealer. i would have gone for a higher end. But so far no problem. I wish you explained the engine self-restart system. Overall I like the video. very informative.
@@steveb7600 leather instead of cloth, heated seats, captain chairs on 2nd row, panorama moon roof, hydrate option, but definitely a jump on the price.
There’s no 12 V power adapter in the front. What’s up with that ? I have a dash cam that needs a round 12 V plug. I can’t use it with this car. Doesn’t Kia think about what people need ?
Would you rather buy the "base" or "entry" trim level of a vehicle or would you rather go for the higher trim levels? Thanks for commenting! jeff
I would. I rented the LX trim and I was rather impressed with it.
I like the base model. Thanks for making this video.
Higher trim. I need a panoramic roof. It's a must have.

what does the higher level model have that you really want outside of aesthetics?

Would a carseat fit comfortably in the 3rd row?
I just bought it too and I wish I went a higher level up for sure

That’s the only thing I miss with my 22 LX, the Blindspot thing in the mirrors
I believe you reversed the HP ratings at the beginning there Jeff. Nice car! I like these basic no frills vehicles a lot better.
Oh no did I switch hp and torque? I’m sorry if I did! Thanks for watching and being part of my channel
AutoJeff is ToyotaJeff's evil twin
Love the depeche mode reference!!! Going backwards
Conservative styling and lots of tech for the money. I can see the value in this.
Just bought one
Very very nice vehicle!! Wonderful presentation. Thank you ☺️
Really glad you liked it!!
The only thing Is that No Power On button But everything else is nice. This would be perfect for camping and road trips

Hello Sir Blind Spot Mirror in FWD Also ??
Does the LX trim have the auto brake hold? Didn't see it on the center console/shifter area.
I just purchased a 22 former rental with 40,000 miles with all wheel drive which I do not like but that’s what it has
Hi do you not like the AWD? Does yours have remote start and smart trunk? My 2023 LX doesn’t have either
1:40 did you mean to say 281 horsepower?
Turn signal indicators in the mirrors is a nice feature and unexpected at the base trim level!
My 22 doesnt have it.. wish it did I mean blind spot warning
I don’t have turn signal indicators in my 2023 LX
@@jillianbaker8442 maybe they ran out of the chips? did they give you a credit for them?
@@toronado455 what are chips? I do have blind spot indicators? Is that what you mean?
I liked it ❤
jeff cant count they dont have 8 seats they have a max of 7 seats
3:24 the 2022 LX does not have that, which sucks
That’s the only thing I miss on ours
2023 LX yes the blind spot indicators are super helpful
It’s a 7 passenger
Vrry little interest with youtube car enthusiasts for some reason. Maybe the brand is falling from grace.
