This is the post Jerry Rosa recommended to all amateur and aspiring musicians everywhere, featuring Sierra Hull on mandolin. Man, she understands musicianship 9 ways to Sunday. They just don't come more talented than this young lady.
Wow on so many levels!! The sound mix is perfectly balanced, so everyone is audible but no one is overpowering! And I absolutely love to see musicians having fun on stage, and they are obviously having more fun than a barrel of monkeys! And that bass/drum solo/duel/party in the middle made me grin like a mule eating briars! This may well be my favorite Sierra performance on TH-cam, and I don't even usually like jazz 😂😂 Ok I'll stop raving now....
Sierra you are the best I ever saw and heard!

Whenever I feel the need for top shelf musicianship, and taste, I dig up a Sierra Hull video. Never lets me down.
amen, brother they won't let me down neither!
If you aren't tapping your toes and snapping your fingers to this...you must be dead! And smiling...man, you have to be smiling!!😊💖
My old buddy, Mike Seal on the resonator guitar. So amazing to see how far he's come. Very nice tempo to the swing. Awesome job.
I love the fact bluegrass has picked up the old jazz band tradition of showcasing band members with solo turns. Nobody here disappoints!
Steve Grooms bluegrass has always done that. That’s a native similarity between the two genre.
I also wouldn’t really call this bluegrass. Has more of a Western swing feel to it.
Played and sung with joy and spirit. It´s charming.
The best Sierra, always the best!
