The rule for tiny instruments is that they all have to be able to go in your carry-on. You'd think Petar would be screwed, but he absolutely nails every fill like it's just another gig lol
The tiny instruments portion of this tour was my favorite. So often these venues are too loud, and the band becomes muddy, they sounded way cleaner on the mini instruments.
This was soo much fun to see! Everyone in the audience, including me, was squealing at the cuteness of the instruments before they even played and then they killed it on those baby instruments!!
OYA MOOCH KAH HANNAH HEE KNEE! (something I say when no normal accolades are big enough or long enough to express total wonder and joyful delight) Thank you band for all you do to light up my world.
This was so much fun. Edited out a funny bit about the Fender Custom Shop refusing to make a tiny bass, but they'd flip over their smallest bass and put the strap button on the other horn for Sonny.

This is what I think when someone says "size doesn't matter". Great performance!
This was most definitely the Los Angeles show last weekend. I saw the camera operator roaming around the stage all night so I was hoping we would get to see some footage from this incredible show. I can't believe we got it so fast! I really, really, REALLY, hope that the entire concert shows up here sometime because the LA show was ridiculous. Cory and his band somehow manages to get even better every time I've seen them which blows my mind because they are *always* good!
Makes sense that they'd record a performance like this on home turf. All of them doing a whole tour with those extra instruments would add up to a lot of baggage and weight.
Sierra, Petar, Sonny T, and Eddie Barbash! My goodness! Shows what kind of a band leader Cory is. Even though the band is literally “Cory Wong,” everybody gets to exhibit their mastery of their own craft! Inspiring! PS: The rest of the band gets my admiration too, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. But in these songs, it was the musicality of the 4 of them that stood out.
Eddie I love you. I knew the moustache gave you tone but I didn't know about articulation 🤯 Props to you guys you're all freaking insane at what you do
incredible. i think we'll look back at how much cory is pushing forward so many genres, and the live music scene. enjoying it now while it's hear. I saw Cory live in Pittsburgh 4 or 5 years ago and its so dope to see how much it's all progressed
I saw you guys at The Wiltern in LA. This small instrument session was great. The concert was tight and awesome. I noticed 3 members were missing. Congratulations to all. Beautiful.
I was just absolutely gutted I missed the show in Seattle. I had tickets - was even in a hotel a block away - but was unable to attend. It killed me to miss it! Love these tunes!
We are down for a Wong Notes album with Billy. Sierra , Chris and Eddie B. A combination of American bluegrass and Jazz. Such Good Energy. Please have Sonny and Kevin on this Album too.❤❤❤
The drummer is absolutely having the time of his life on that hilarious tiny kit.
I thought he was in pain!
@@jdmarino For a drummer, the two go hand in hand...
Petar is hilarious.
Petar literally always looks like he’s having the time of his life. He clearly is.
No, he’s always like that….
The mini cymbal dampener is the attention to detail that I love about this group.
so funny!
And with that, a whole new genre of music was born: Microfunk.
Petar hitting the tom on the little kit killed me😂
He got the biggest smile the whole time!
Sierra’s solo on Pebbles is KILLING!!
Glad someone beat me to this comment.
Both of her solos were nuts
Agreed. That first solo was wild!
th-cam.com/video/ssE7821WAHc/w-d-xo.html
She killed it on both songs. Holy sh***
Petar is just an animal hahahaha - this was so so good, awesome performances from everyone there!
He is Animal the Muppet come to glorious life!
Seeing this little set live in the middle of the actual set was one of the funniest/most impressive things I've watched in awhile.
Good grief. I was not ready for Sonny's opening bass line.
I'm starting to realize that Sonny could get that same tone out of a washtub and cat gut.
Any idea what he's playing? Is it a baritone ukelele?
He killed it the whole way through.
@@tkumec bass ukulele… they cost like 250 bucks, and sound like roughly a gazillion! I have two:-D
He is so amazing; even that second song on the fender mini. Just driving the whole song. One of the greatest bassist ever to me.
Petar's drum tone here is unmatched
The sheer joy and enthusiasm of this band is fenomenal , for a brief moment all problems are resolved and the world is beautiful again...
That is 100% I feeling too😊
I was literally just to the right of the camera guy for this part of the recording. I made sure to give them room lol. One of my best memories.
My Jeeez, Sierra's solo in Bluebird is mind blowing. I cannot wash my smile from my face.
that first mandolin solo might be one of my favorite solos of all time
I was at this concert just the the right of the camera guy for this. She was incredible.
Petar showing all of us straight up, having a killer kit really doesn't matter...
What kills me is he sounds way better on that little kit than I sound on a normal one. Really talented players can make anything sound good.
It’s like he is playing a set of bongos 😂….
I can't wait for giant instruments on the next tour.
SONNY SOUNDIN DOPE ON THE UBASS
Man Cory I dont know if that reaches you. What you are doing is always such a heart opener in so many ways. Hands Down your a genius!
I have literally never seen more than a two piece band before this where the mandolin was the largest one!! This is great!
Eddie and Sierra's solos are 🔥🔥🔥

Sonny T killing it on the U-Bass... everybody seems to have the best time! Amazing talent all across the group.
This was soo much fun to see! Everyone in the audience, including me, was squealing at the cuteness of the instruments before they even played and then they killed it on those baby instruments!!
Bloodyy hell! Petar killing it no matter what the size of the drum is 🙌🙌 super tighttt broooo
ikr!
Bro how is this so good????? I was not ready for everyone to shred so damn well! This is amazing!
I think that last mandolin solo left my ability to hear in the dust.
OYA MOOCH KAH HANNAH HEE KNEE! (something I say when no normal accolades are big enough or long enough to express total wonder and joyful delight) Thank you band for all you do to light up my world.
Pebbles is such a damn tune it needs to be heard by everyone. More bluegrass funk please!!
This was so much fun. Edited out a funny bit about the Fender Custom Shop refusing to make a tiny bass, but they'd flip over their smallest bass and put the strap button on the other horn for Sonny.

Camera operator was roaming around all night at the SD show too. I think he is probably recording all the shows
Makes sense that they'd record a performance like this on home turf. All of them doing a whole tour with those extra instruments would add up to a lot of baggage and weight.
OMG, Petar is so amazing!! So funny and bad ass groove at the same time!!
I was there!! It was the most amazing concert I've seen in a long time! Do not miss them if they come to your area!!!
I can’t even understand how they can play so fast and so clean. Amazing.
Petar is just a joy to watch. Anything with Sierra has a 98% probability of being awesome. Love the smiles they all have.

I just watched it three times in a row - still delighted by it! This may be the most entertaining drum performance I've seen in decades.
Petar going ham on that tiny, tiny drumkit gives me so much joy.
Tiny instruments: wins every time.
Man, mandolin players are BUILT DIFFERENT and Sierra fucking killed it!
man, I love this band. Sunny T is throwin it down as always.
This was my favorite part of the show! Thanks for stopping by Phoenix!
This band has so much damn fun.
I'm somewhere on the second balcony losing my mind to this one. Absolutely fantastic musicianship as always.
tiny snare has no right to be that good lol
I love this
Thank you Cory for introducing me to Sierra Hull’s music. She’s a treasure
Eddie I love you. I knew the moustache gave you tone but I didn't know about articulation 🤯
Props to you guys you're all freaking insane at what you do
YES! I was wondering when we'd get a full tiny instruments release!
I was there front row and this was so fun!
Sonny is a genius. But the interplay of everyone together... insane.
Sierra is bringing subtle, yet top notch dance moves.
Sierras mandolin now looks massive!!
Holy smokes she’s amazing
incredible. i think we'll look back at how much cory is pushing forward so many genres, and the live music scene. enjoying it now while it's hear.

Petar the Woodpecker! 😊
Such a pleasure to watch and listen, thank you all!
Always makes me happy to see a U-Bass in the wild
Sierra Hull 👍👍💪💪🎼🎵 Looks like Sierra is having a great time playing with the Cory Wong band. Glad to see that!
Sonny-T is just...such an outstanding player.
Sonny's bassline 3:50 to 4:03 is gonna be underappreciated.
I’m so happy that You’re coming to Europe! Cya on the concert! All the best from Poland❤
It's your fault that I now bought tickets for Berlin... 😅 Didn't know there was a European leg of the tour. Thanks for the hint!
@@lordmosa Good to hear that, i've bought tickets to London. Trip + concert - i can't wait :D
One of the best live shows I've ever seen! And this section was one of the reasons why 😍😂🕺🏽 So. Much. Fun!
What an absolute jewel! Everyone having the best time of their lives on that stage, what a joy! You all rock!
This is just so unbelievably EPIC! Video ended 5 min ago and I'm still laughing 🤣
The T in Sonny T stands for Tgawd DAMN this dude can play
He actually nailed the riff in Bluebird on a 4-string bass several times. That is absolutely unreal!
I was at that concert. Amazing playing by all.
I saw you guys at The Wiltern in LA. This small instrument session was great. The concert was tight and awesome. I noticed 3 members were missing. Congratulations to all. Beautiful.
petar having so much fun on tiny drums
Is it me or is this the way to get happy very fast...
This band is so damn good. Unbelievable.
I like it better and better each timeb
Petar is Killing it, no matter the tempo, or the toy he's playing with, RESPECT !!!
Man, I love Petar.
It was so awesome seeing this performance live!!!! #carryonsonlyband
Escape the cold winter and come to sunny Australia for 2023!!! Pleeeeeeeease!
Barbash, barbash, barbash. 🤯👏👏
Tiny instrument, wins everytime!
I was just absolutely gutted I missed the show in Seattle. I had tickets - was even in a hotel a block away - but was unable to attend. It killed me to miss it! Love these tunes!

Pocket Trumpet in the building!
First time I've ever had to check to make sure that a video wasn't playing at 1.25x.
They just have TOO MUCH FUN!
Saw you guys in Portland, OR. Awesome show! You were all fantastic. So fun to hear you live. Sierra was amazing!
I just love the drummer's energy
Sonny is DESTROYING that Ubass
KEVIN, DAMN!!
bro pure joyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Sierra Hull's Gibson looks huge!
What a marvelous racket
This is hands down one of the coolest things I've ever seen
Well, Daryle Singletary may never have had too much fun, but it looks like you did playing this, and I SURE had too much fun watching it!
A slice of sweet joy. Great bass player. Melds beautifully. Would love to see this live.
We are down for a Wong Notes album with Billy. Sierra , Chris and Eddie B. A combination of American bluegrass and Jazz. Such Good Energy. Please have Sonny and Kevin on this Album too.❤❤❤
HOLY FUNKIN SHYT!!! My NEW “happy place”!!!

I didn't realize they were on tiny instruments until the second song, they sound perfectly in place in your hands!
Want to see more of this!
Y’all jamming these tunes!
Sonny, don't bail on the U-bass!! You were killing it! I have one and they are tons of fun but yes hard to play!! And Sierra?!!! What a player!!
