Its not as bad, but it definitely isn't good yet. Will they refine this concept into decency or let it go to focus on more reliable ammo and product channels?
I think they'll let it go soon to focus on current and new product lines. I would like to see one more wave, just for the fun of it. Great video btw.
I dont think hyper is bad I do think they prob should have put more R&D into it and made it more like rival with hop ups and other things that made rival good

it makes me wonder if they'll ever make a magazine system for the hyper rounds, thus nullifying the whole purpose of them.
They should make some sort of magazine for hyper ammo like they did for rival except it will be able to use a high capacity. Then you get the feeding reliability that you don't get from a hopper but still get the advantage of large capacity in a small form factor. It might have to be like a drum magazine or something.
Of course, they could have just made hyper balls out of foam instead of rubber and that would have probably been a lot better in general. Not sure why they didn't.
If the ammo was reworked to be the same material as rival but with a dense core to maintain weight I think Hyper could be awesome.
have you modded rival rounds to make them a little heavier...? imo they are better that way...

this blaster honestly seems really cool, it’s a shame that Hyper is such an irrelevant ammo type. definitely needs a hop up, and I would’ve loved to see this as a Rival blaster.
The most comparable and far superior would be the Rival Hades, 60 round capacity with slam fire.
I think they need to make the hyper rounds out of the rival accustrike material or even just the normal rival round material! Think that it would work?

@@REALPEDROGAMEPLAYS not necessarily, since they already use the material for rival accustrike rounds or regular rival rounds they wouldn't need to get any new material, and they already have the molds for the hyper ammo. Not sure the price of material for the hyper rounds now but I feel like they would be less expensive then the normal hyper rounds as of now? But we will never know until they try it, all just hypothetical!

The Rival Hades is what you'd be looking for if you're looking for a rival equivalent.

I think I would pick one up if someone came out with a hop up insert like O.O.D. made for the siege 50. The hop up insert he made for the siege actually makes it way more accurate and actually fun to mess around with

I like plinking with hyper but I don't use it outside or in wars. The hopper doors are cool though and its nice to see nerf trying new things.

Seems that they should have marketed this as indoor play and sponsored events. I think I would have tried that out.
I recently found a Mach 100 and Rush 40 thrifting. I haven’t played with the Rush 40 much yet as flinging a single hyper ball at a time with a T-pull style prime just doesn’t appeal to me. The Mach 100, however, I kinda fell in love with. I found it just needed one mod from stock to make it way better, and that was the addition of a real barrel. Stock, it’s a pair of flywheels flinging the balls into essentially a cavern, giving them way too much opportunity to bounce off the sides and lose momentum and accuracy. With a barrel that is maybe a millimeter or so wider in diameter than the ammo, I get way better accuracy and don’t have the weirdly angled shots I’d get on it stock.

I just plastic welded on a hop up tab on my hyper fuel 20 and sawed off the weird rail and it way better. The hyper rounds are excellent coming from a paintball and airsoft background... lots of potential in the sport if you give your gun hop up I wish people weren't so hard on it. The hyper round just keeps on climbing making it very flat shooting with hop up. 50% to 80% better accuracy and at least 25% more range! I strongly encourage you to revisit this
The hopper opening mechanism is great but missed boat without improved accuracy lessons learned of hop up tab from Rush 40 experiences.
at this point im waiting for hyper accustrike with hop up and an improved ammo design thats biodegradable and less sticky and a better feeding system

The issue is trying to recover ammunition. No way to do a decent dart sweep. The Rush 40 especially had utility as a high capacity pistol, but with no way to reasonably recover ammo outside, and given that they're rubber pellets, they're an ecological disaster not worth fielding

Just got this blaster. Going to return it. Not bc it's bad, but bc it's too big for what I would use it for (indoor play). Aiming down sights is difficult, because there's a 3-inch difference between muzzle and top of blaster. However, spring button press ammo feed door is a game-changer for real! It's not that moment when you have to refill the whole thing, it's the moment when you run by grab 5 or 6 round off the ground, press the button and toss them inside, in 2 seconds. I just think they need to Focus Less on ammo capacity and more on precision, and make a blaster that's more ergonomic. Just my thoughts. Hope Nerf reads it tho, lol

Ok so hear me out. I'm a big League of legends fan and they just released the NERF LMTD Jinx Fishbones product trailer, any plans to do a review or reaction on that? I'd be super stoked to hear your thoughts and opinions on it.
I think, put a hop-up in it and use it exclusively in an indoor arena and it's a great blaster. Of course, I don't actually own one.

rush 40 with a hop and a 50 round pod is pretty good compared to a kronos. If this had a hop up and was like 30 bucks I would get it. off brand hyper is pretty good. the off brand actually bounces less making them easier to retrieve but honestly the ammo is trash and very loseable. I hate shooting it outside. indoors sure.
Rush 40 may have a higer capacity. But you got ammo in a kronos u rack it you know your rival ball is exiting the blaster at 90ish fps.
@@Loneadmin but I can spam at least 6 times as many rounds with the rush. once you are reloading especially.
@@nickr831 i wouldn't use a kronos as a primary. I'd use a nemisis, with a kronos as a primary. And a nemisis would actually land the shots as it has a hop up.

I am in the haven't tried it and not willing to try it camp. It may be fun, but its more airsoft/milsim than nerf. Those folks already have their gear and this won't change folks over.
I got my on clearance for 20 bucks... oh yeah I'm kind of just sticking with rival and regular Nerf darts

The Hyper blasters themselves are good, but unfortunately the ammo still needs to find a place. This blaster is one of the better ones in my opinion, Just the accuracy is well… bad.

For me the hyper system is good in theory, but rather mediocre in execution. Many of the issues seem to come from the material the ammo is made of. If hasbro had gone for something more along the lines of .50 caliber foam balls, which coincidentally is the same diameter as standard darts, many of the problems left would be blaster based.
@qtsssim I find that to be unlikely. Losing ammo is a much larger source of income than damaged ammo, and hyper is easy enough to lose. I understand your cynicism, but I don't think that's what's going on here.

I stand by my sentiment that these could be 150 FPS monsters that shoot those balls straight as a laser and still wouldn't buy them. I refuse to put money into an ammo type that could harm the environment because those things do not biodegrade.
