"Even seeing a picture of SCP-096" right after showing a picture
Artistic depictions do not possess the same aspects as an actual photo. They used a class D personel inside a bathysphere in the ocean who opened up a box with an envelope inside that contained a photo of the SCP. He then drew it. After viewing the actual photo, It was reported the SCP breached containment but the class D worker was able to release a bouy that floated to the surface that contained the artistic depiction that you saw in the video.

SCP-096 will kill you everywhere, and it's seemingly unstoppable (it will take damage, lose whole muscles and tissues, but it simply doesn't care about it). You saw his face, be prepared to die soon.
