So true about ease of this job and the difficulty of doing the same on the V6 models. Makes me wonder whether I should have got the inline 4 instead of V6 on my Highlanders. Plugs, valve covers etc so much easier! But I like the power on the V6. Oh well. Your friend is a lucky guy! Thanks for the video TM.
Trust me, when you do any ford specially the taurus v6s you will love to do highlanders hahaha. You will bust your hand everywhere. The ford designers thought everyone has baby hands hahaha. Anyways, is true, those I4 engines are such a beauty to work on.
I own a 2004 Toyota Yaris sport (aka Echo as also the manual says). It already has 204000 km. I doubt this maintenance has been performed and I wanna know if it’s time to do this and any other important maintenance. I saw is quite possible for me tondo this. It’s time for oil and spark plugs change already. And thanks for been so keen and tidy in the explanatios. It’s quite easy to understand. Regards from Chile.
Hope you looked at your PCV? It's the most over looked part, remove it and best to replace it with that mileage.Change all your fluids every 50k....oil at 204,000km change every 4-5k MAX.
I think that I have to do this now... I thought that we blew the headgasket but it has no power. It has the symptom of valve problems. It has 386000 kms on it. I love the car... 2005 echo hatchback. You made it look easy to do the work on the engine! Thank you!
In the US it was called Toyota Echo from 1999 to 2005. Up to 2002, the Echo had the rear license plate on the bumper. From 2003 to 2005 the rear license plate was moved up on to the back part of the rear trunk.
I did that for the first time on my echo 2005. Thanks a lot for sharing your technic!
I have never felt so confident attacking a problem with my cat, thank you.
