Thanks for sharing Mike. Im currently working as network admin but really want to go cloud. Studying az-900 now but will do az-104 and az-700 next. Glad I found your channel.
In my experience, the Az-104 was harder than the Az-500 and Az-305. Yes, the Az-104 is broader and covers a wide range of topics with a lot of contents. The Az-500 however, is less broader than the Az-104, but more indepth. I didn't feel as much challenged when I took the 500 and 305 as I had, when I took the 104.
I passed. I had literally less than 2 weeks to learn this and pass. I had never touched Azure before. This was a hard thing to do. I passed this morning on my first attempt. That was a lot of 15-18 hour days of nothing but reading, studying and doing my own labs. I’m now going to sleep for the next two days.
@ellisz5972 Congratulation !!! please tell what was your study strategy? I have exam in Oct , so basicly 1 month. What did you checked out ? did you stick just the question/answer on the youtube to try to memorize?
I know this might sound basic but you said just read the documents. Does that mean literally just read them with no notes, memorization or, doing labs?
I just rechecked the rules here home.pearsonvue.com/Clients/Microsoft/Online-proctored.aspx and you are right! You can have gum or a beverage in an online exam. Try it when doing an exam though, as I have had proctors tell me to get rid of my nicotine gum and water from my desk. So I guess it depends on who is watching you that day too.
@@mwcloud I have had a glass of water by my side for the last 4 exams, no problem. But i always make sure everything else is on point, clean and as they ask 👍 Great content by the way, keep making videos👍
No, I would like for you to get to the point at around 7:07 you gave us a study guide… you and me both know you half assed this video for views and ad revenue
Great advice. Just passed AZ-900 today and am looking forward to AZ-104
Great work! Have a watch of my AZ-104 series (I am still adding to it) I hope it will help you on your AZ-104 journey
Just general good advice on all exams really. Nice one Mike!
Thanks!

just subscribed :)
Thank you for watching
6:07, that's an excellent piece of advice. Hopefully I won't need to use it, but if I do that's a good method to augment the post exam sections scores

The difficulty of the exam is always directly proportional to the amount you have read on the subject
So in a nutshell go to the MS learn web page and start reading ?
Pretty much yeh. Everyone always looking for a shortcut, but the reality is, study.
Hi Mike, thank you for the information, great video.
Thanks
Great advice really, I need notes on AZ-104
Check out my github
@@mwcloud Please can I have your GitHub link?
Great video Mike thanks for the tips very helpful I will be taking my exam in the next 4 weeks I have studied for the past 3 months.
Thank you and good luck, check out my other videos on the technical aspects of the az-104
See, in my case (and my team's case) if we don't pass, we are unemployed. So it really does matter. Wish us luck.
Then study hard and watch all my other content and you will be prepped 😊
@@mwcloud Yep, been doing that.

good work buddy. The AZ-104 is hard because of the amount of things you need to know. It’s very wide in scope. The next exam will be easier

You made my day 😂, thanks man comes up with this topic am I found you. 😅
Great advice, although since it costs money to take the exam, something does happen if you fail
Well yes. But there is no problem if you do
I know this might sound basic but you said just read the documents. Does that mean literally just read them with no notes, memorization or, doing labs?
Well labs are always great, I recommend labtrikz.com/en-us/home
Its enough 1 month to prepare for the test ? (i just have az 900 exam...without any practice )
Yes if you study…
Just use the Microsoft learn materials and watch all my az-104 videos, they will cover az-900 too
A glass of water is allowed👍

This guy must have infite money. Every take has a (high) cost.
Then just study harder and you wont have to take it twice.
You aren’t really telling us how to pass…
What do you want? The answers ?
No, I would like for you to get to the point at around 7:07 you gave us a study guide… you and me both know you half assed this video for views and ad revenue
Thank you for your input, but it seems the other people leaving positive comments disagree with you.
Good day sir.
One of the most useless videos I've found on TH-cam for the topic
What would have made it not useless for you? Can you turn your useless comment into a productive one and provide feedback?
