Thank you very much for the incredible effort and teaching method, last Sunday I passed the AZ-104 and now I am on my way to the AZ-305 thanks to you. Thank you very much
@@sahil1586 Hello, studying with the Microsoft learn platform, in addition to studying with this video and a lot of practice, it took me approximately 1 month and a half to prepare, and one weekend before the certification exam I reviewed all the material almost non-stop. But more than anything, I advise you to take the trial month of Azure, to get your hands on it and keep the issues in your head. good luck

I can't believe this is free! I was using Scott Duffy's course on Udemy and it just put me to sleep and so hard to pay attention. I love Andrew's delivery and find this course a lot more interesting. Just got my free voucher from the November Microsoft Cloud challenge and hoping to take the exam and be certified before the end of the year.

Hello bro. Is there any prerequisite before I watch this video. What basics should i have in order to understand this video and pass the certification exam
@@unknown3.3.34 From my perspective I'd say you've got to know a thing or two about what could be in an organization's cloud infrastructure - meaning what tools and services are available in Azure for this purpose. While it's not a must, I'd start by taking the AZ-900 if you haven't taken it already because it gives you a broad idea of what's in the Azure environment. Say if I would've taken AZ-104 again - scratching my previous study for this exam, I'd start by taking AZ-900, further I'd use this course and simultaneously take the learning paths for AZ-104 on Microsoft Learn. I'd also consider creating a private tenant in Azure to practice implementing and managing various resources like Azure AD-related things, storage, compute, networking etc. if the labs on Microsoft Learn aren't enough. "Learning by doing" they say.. :) While it's not a requirement I'd highly suggest if you don't have any experience with networking, learning some fundamentals since the networking takes up 25-30% of the skills measured in AZ-104. Good luck :)
hello @StateOnex , do this course have enough practical's labs included by which we can do jobs in real environment? or it is just for clearing the exam on theory basis?
@@surajmochi6875 If you mean labs like in those you might encounter in the actual exam this course might not fulfill your needs. While its been 5 months since I've watched this video I do remember it explaining in detail on topics that are in the AZ-104 skills outline - both in theory and practical. There were some minor tweeks to the exam Sept 24th that this video might not cover. Imo. none of the exams covers enough to fully prepare you as a whole for doing practical tasks in a real environment, but it will teach you where to start when implementing solutions mentioned in this exam. :)
@@nunusgifts4773 No, you really need to take practice questions as well. I received a discount through the company I work for, so I suggest talking to your company first?

1:04:55 Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) is what used to be called SCCM, a device inventory and management tool. Microsoft created its own "Endpoint" suite called "Microsoft Endpoint Manager", which is an umbrella covering, among others, MECM and Intune. MECM is Microsoft's traditional way of managing devices, especially on-prem. Intune will probably end up replacing MECM because seems that Microsoft doesn't want companies to run any management tool on-prem. It's a matter of time. Maybe MECM would remain to manage those devices (servers and workstations) that somehow cannot be managed by Intune. Thanks Andrew by this free course

About moving resources (around 2:05:00). Quote from the official documentation: "Moving a resource only moves it to a new resource group or subscription. It doesn't change the location of the resource." It's not obvious from the video.

@@leelasandeep I passed, I would definitely say this video was useful but I would say what benefitted me most was practice tests to confirm your knowledge as many questions are very strangely worded and understanding how they ask the questions is often more important than the knowledge itself
In the video's section about using azcopy, there was quite a hurdle using the shell. The statement at 3:25:13 about having put the exact same command in PowerShell is NOT TRUE and blaming the azcopy version could be misleading the audience. Do not paste URLs with GET parameters into the console or properly escape them. Know that special characters such as from URLs might have special purpose in Bash (and other shells) that you might wanna escape: * A question mark (?) character (which in URLs also introduces the query string) optionally matches the character in front of it. * An ampersand (&) character takes the command up to it and fires it up as a "job" in the background. In Bash, you can list jobs with the "jobs" command, bring them back to foreground, put any running command into background, and more. Multiple ampersands mean multiple background jobs, all indexed. So because commands like "sp=racwdl" are just variable assignments, and there were multiple such "commands", that's where the output "Done, Done, Done" originated from. * Hashbang (#), excamation mark (!), Dollar sign ($), backticks (`), backslash (\), as well as parantheses, backets and curly braces also have special meanings. In the concrete case with copying a file using azcopy, best would have been to just put the target URL in quotes. In the PowerShell command, both the source file name as well as the SAS (URL) have been wrapped in quotation marks. An alternative would have been to escape every of the beforementioned special characters by putting a backslash in front, e.g. azcopy cp kicas-fajo.jpg fajo.blob.core.windows.net/kivasfajo/kivas-fajo.jpg\?sv=2020-02-10\&st=2021-04-18T14:46:03Z\&spr=...

10:56:00 What they are saying with the NSG security rule evaluation by priority is that the rule would be satisfied in a priority order. 1]source 2]source port 3] destination 4] destination port 5] protocol means that once 1,2,3,4, or 5 are not satisfied, rule processing for that rule is ended. So if the conditions for the rule break on 1] source, then 2,3,4,5 aren't even going to be looked at. It's just a thing to know, not really critical for rule development, but it might help make some decisions about setting up the rules.
@@vishnukumartr4356 I used A Cloud Guru. They have a full AZ-104 course with videos and labs. Probably took about three months, but only studying like 4-5 hours a week. The problem you had about 3:20h is because you had to use quotation marks in the URL. The '&' character is used in Linux to do another thing (send commands to background, nothing related to Azure).
Appreciate the amount of effort you have put in and that too for free, Thanks. There is one correction though, 2:36:37 While you were explaining storage services, you said Azure queues is a NoSQL store and Azure Tables is a messaging store, actually it is the other way around.

I just failed my AZ-104 exam after this video and udemy practice questions and examtopics brain dumps I was weak on virtual network and manage storage. I got what I believed were many trick questions
At 2:36:55, I believe you have it backwards regarding Queue Storage and Table Storage. I used your AZ-900 video (I passed the exam, thank you) and you referenced the Queue as being the messaging system for applications and Table Storage as the NoSQL for Semi structure and unstructured data.
Appeared for AZ104 today, but could not clear. This is a nice video, however dumps are very much required to clear the exam. My next attempt will be along with dumps, not just the TH-cam video. Thanks!
Awesome....!! This is a gem amongst courses on AZ 104.. Precise content, superb presentation and icing on the cake are the cheatsheets... the whole package is really really really good.
At 2:37:04, the slide told the "Azure Queues" is a NoSQL store and the "Azure Tables" is a messaging store. But it seems they are inverted in this slide according to official documents.
thank you for amazing content i am learning a lot from you .bunch of thanks .one thing : at 2:02 you explained that a resource within a resource group which has a read-only lock can not move out but can move another resource in this resource group -> as a matter of fact can not move out or in in this resource group .your test was not complete at 2:02 -and before that you said we can move the disk region as I think heard .but we can not directly move the disk from one region to another region .
I am also taking the Google IT professional course. It is so good being able to understand the part on virtual machine which mostly contains knowledge on operating systems. Thank you for this.

While it's not a requirement I'd highly suggest if you don't have any experience with networking, learning some fundamentals since the networking takes up 25-30% of the skills measured in AZ-104.
Good luck :)
@@StateOnex thank you so much bro
hello @StateOnex , do this course have enough practical's labs included by which we can do jobs in real environment? or it is just for clearing the exam on theory basis?
@@surajmochi6875 If you mean labs like in those you might encounter in the actual exam this course might not fulfill your needs. While its been 5 months since I've watched this video I do remember it explaining in detail on topics that are in the AZ-104 skills outline - both in theory and practical. There were some minor tweeks to the exam Sept 24th that this video might not cover.
Imo. none of the exams covers enough to fully prepare you as a whole for doing practical tasks in a real environment, but it will teach you where to start when implementing solutions mentioned in this exam. :)

Know that special characters such as from URLs might have special purpose in Bash (and other shells) that you might wanna escape:
* A question mark (?) character (which in URLs also introduces the query string) optionally matches the character in front of it.
