No -- she (with her foundation staff) was THE organizer and passionate driving force behind this event and the entire long-term initiative. She uses her position, energy, leadership, and dedication to convene advocates and experts from across the globe to address a massively important issue -- and she fully intends to stick with this and make life better for milllions of people now and in the future. Remarkable, amazing woman. No wonder she is adored.

Here’s the thing…if they have the time to change the names from the Prince’s Trust to the King’s Trust, and the Duchess’s Reading room to the Queen’s Reading room, then they have the time to update the Royal website to reflect that H&M are no longer working for the crown.

I had something similar happen to me recently.
I got up at 3:15 am last Saturday morning to clean up the bowl of chili my husband spilled between the fridge and family room carpet, they are about 6 inches apart. Shampooed twice. Needs done again. The bowl was FULL, dinner for both of us and a lunch for him. Sigh. I love him (sometimes I question why!).
I thought the vote for Brexit was all about the UK having control of it borders, over who and what can enter the UK. I thought it was about getting your sovereignty back and not being just another province in the European Federation/ the European Union Government. Did I have that wrong??

Thank you for speaking up about the poppy. She and Har-Har visited a military event on our Veteran's Day and wore poppies...both of them. They were at Camp Pendelton in San Diego and it was embarrassing how they inserted themselves in an event where they had no interest. A military summit on children's well-being in the US military...and NYC Mental Health day where suicidal Meghan spoke to parents of children who have taken their own lives. Meghan promised their support (in what way, we still don't know) The need to get off this Privacy circus and parade. It's outrageous.

The letter that you just read out from the early 1900’s really hit home for me. I’m scared for our future right now and scared for the only child I have. She is almost 16 years old. I do see why many women and their husbands/partners don’t want to have children. Why would anyone want to bring up a child with the way the world is today. Sikes thought it was bad in 1900? It’s gotten worse. River, I honestly feel like we are in the end times. I’ve Read the Book of Revelation and so many signs are happening right in front of our eyes. I pray for those of us who pray to God that peace can be brought into our world.
Throughout history there have always been political swings at the turn of each century, and then the pendulum swings the other way, right now we have an extremely aged Congress in the US, the average age of someone in the US is 37, but our House is in their high 60s and the Senate up into the 70s and 80s, the leadership of the parties are very out of touch. We need more people who are blue collar workers and less lawyers. I am very proud of the younger people coming up who also know how tech and social media works.
Contrary to how it may seem, the world is no worse today than it ever was. People had children all through world wars 1and 2, through sever economic depressions, pandemics, ie the black death. It really is no worse, and in many ways so much better, than it ever was. Don't allow all the negativity to grind you down. There is so much that is positive. The World really is an extraordinarily wonderous place.
My grandpa said the 60's was the best time....
Each generation has to face it's great threat. Courage is everything and it is encumbant on the previous generation to teach that to the next. Don't despair my dear. Constancy and joy always.

I’m an old fashioned American. I wear a poppy brooch when I go out in public on Veteran’s Day (11/11). I remember as a child in the 1960’s my father bought us poppy pins which were being sold by a charity in front of a store. Over the years wearing the poppy pins has gone mostly out of fashion. It’s a shame.
Here in 🇨🇦, every self-respecting person buys a poppy and wears it in recognition of the fact that it is thanks to those who fought and died that we are a free country.
It was never a thing that went in or out of fashion.
The poppies are now made of compostable material.

I love kitchen gadgets, but have always used a 4cup Mr Coffee. It always works. I've had a couple of presses but my husband breaks all glass. Mr Coffee survives. Costs 19.99 at Walmart.

Here is one for you River, the two jerks here in California showed up at Camp Pendleton to put their two cents, for this veteran day event where they don't belong. Harry bumped into this one's wife, her remark can't you see. for him only to apologize to her. Oh they even had poppies on. This is the third year, they think it is their place to be at our event. I watched the Tommy Robinson Doco you mentioned. He's bang on what is going on in the UK. I watched his address to the Oxford Union some years back. This guy isn't racist, he's a Free Speech advocate who believes in the rule of law, something that the many UK law enforcement agencies appear to not to any more, and for a very long time. The UK is in real trouble, and unless people genuinely stand up to all this Progressive ideology espoused by media and politicians things ain't going to get better, only worse! It is an absolute shame, I live in a Commonwealth Country, I know about the Magna Carta, and other great UK traditions. Freedom of Speech is at the heart of any free Nation, if you don't have free speech, tyranny has arrived. Stand up for free speech, and do not expect to get it from media or politicians! It might be time to vote in real people who genuinely will uphold UK values, the first being a free people, and you can't have a free people without free speech. The whole Armistice Day thing was bizarre. Veterans told by the police to stay in pubs and not go near the Cenotaph, Alison Pearson in the Daily Telegraph who was there at The Cenotaph saying the football lot were quite peaceable until the police kettled them, and Robinson..I genuinely do not know what to make of him. Was telling the truth about the grooming gangs, but that doesn't mean he's a reputable individual in any other way. Get the impression the police wanted to say "Look we're being tough, just like you wanted!" but picked a soft target, as Braverman hinted they would do.

It corks my last juice that H&M try to act like royals here in the U.S. We don't do royals unless you're here to be gawked at and fawned over for a special event, then back home. For those of us that saw through her fake facade, we know the score. BTW, I respect the King, the Royal Family and their place in history. I enjoy HRH Prince William & Catherine and watching their children grow up. When "they" visit the US, it's a pleasure, but I will never respect MM and her conniving ways. her mistakes, she just kept making them and still does. They both flounce around like Royals, when they are no longer considered Royal. In America we don't have Royals and why my countrymen are treating these two like they are something special, they aren't. That's what makes me mad. That they thought they could treat the Queen as they did, and that all will be forgiven, it won't. Ever.
