I am a new steampunk, and proud to say that Abney Park is the first steampunk band I've ever listened to. It only fuels my passion for this lifestyle!

You know, technology is so cool when its old. I tour museums and marvel more at what we had 100 years ago than I do the latest and supposedly greatest.
I used to tell my mom "in with the old, out with the new" when i was little and that was about 10 years ago.
Will wonders never cease to amaze?!!!! At 52,I am on a never-ending search for musical treats to satisfy my eclectic tastes.And in my curious search of what the hell is Steampunk I came across Abney Park and was instantly hooked!! This is assuredly a right tasty morsel of yummy ear candy!! All i can say is WOW! And as I rest in from my quest to feast upon this aural buffet......I say to you,my gifted,musical benefactors,Abney Park,What a trip!!! Thanx for the ride!!

Abney Park powers my Second Life steampunk world. Nothing like cruising the sky in an airship and grooving to their tunes.

I actually didn't like this song when I first heard it, but now I like this song. I think it's the fact that it's catchy.
My dad turned 50 this year, and I got him into these, both my parents in fact. So much so, they're taking me and themselves to see them play in London in august. I'm 16 by the way :)

For those who don't know, Aetherium is what powers those glowey Steampunk gadgets and the energy based weapons.
IAMLH Hot steam is produced by coal. You and I have the same model of Gameboy, though yours does have some very handsome mahogany trimmings.

In the interests of better air quality, the coal ought to be replaced with one of Augustin Mouchot's solar concentrators, but that's hard to fit into song lyrics. ;)
