OMG, I borderline rage quit 3 videos trying to explain the story because they were doing everything but explaining the damn story.

Love the breakdowns man. I found your videos looking for a recap of Yakuza's main storyline (since I missed 5 & 6) and it helped tremendously as I finished up Like A Dragon. i had to confirm whether your yakuza 5 plot summary was a one off and i can see you have a natural talent for this. maybe you should start a seperate channel specifically for plot summaries
I was playing Yakuza Like A Dragon a few weeks ago and I just didn't have the patience to finish it.
I was still interested in the story though. That's how I found your page.

Damn, i feel for you. This game is not nearly as good if you stop after that first ending. Also super short.

Pretty damn good video for only 800 views, wtf. When I looked up a story explanation for the game, the top one is some dude spending the entire video talking about Nietzsche and religion. Didn't tell us a single plot point in a "STORY EXPLANATION" video. So stupid. This deserves way more views than that shitty video did.
I wish you cut out your little face cam tho from the gameplay you put in this video. I personally hate face cams, especially when it has nothing to to do with what I'm watching... But then again I guess it's more of a "listen to" video

The pacing, thats the main reason i stopped, when they said, do it all again i said “huh?”, could have just made an anime with all that material and the pacing wouldn’t be so egregious.
As a matter of fact, there is an anime now. It's really good.
22:46 I have sparked an interest in this game after seeing it all over the place over the years but it seems that that interest was directed at the rule34 of this game. A sparked curiosity nonetheless and maybe I’ll play the games in a few decades

Check out my explained video for nier replicant. That will help fill in many of your questions since thats the prequel to automata. Adam and eve are machine, and it's been awhile since i brushed up on lore but im pretty sure humans created the first androids long before yorha was a thing and early androids were the ones that developed yorha to combat the machines. Again im pretty rusty since its been awhile but theres a very interesting wiki on it.
