One Piercing Note upgrades the regular god books into illuminated versions that have double pray bonus and higher attack stats which usually aren't noticeable but can add up with other things. You also get the completed books as shields/offhand magic override slots which is fun
Worth mentioning Melee and Necro gear are easier for any player to make without really needing to boss, also the lv80/85 weapons are usually pretty solid for the other 3 styles while being pretty cheap unless you're trying to do something horrible like high enrage bosses or HM vorkath or Ambi... There's also other armor that's great for mage and melee like the ports gear (even the normal tradable ones) and other stuff like anima core gear, dino hide, the nex gears are some others. Don't need crazy endgame gear to boss 😉

1:45 necro armor is not that cheap subigation pieces are going for 7 mil a piece and you need 15 to upgrade. As a less funded player i haven't gotten my whole tier 80 set yet because of the price!
These are the ge prices which are pretty close. You can (and should) be making sure to use the higher level multiply glyphs on your rituals for the subjugation pieces!
This will save you SOOOOO much money!

You don't really need 15, at level 90 with the bigger ritual board, you can use enough multiply 2s (or extreme boost to multiply 3) and get 3-4 cloth per ritual. It only works in the solid incriments of 100%, but you should have 6 slots to work with, for 240%-360% more output. 300% is in that range, so with 3 multiply 3s and 3 multiply 2s you can get 4 cloth/thread/bars per ritual. Multiply 3 requires 103 necromancy, which means a single dose of Super necromancy potion will let you place them for 9 rituals of durability at level 91 necromancy.
@@anialator1000000 with new amulet and 103 necro (multi 3 in your cape too) you can get 6 cloths from one
The nexus is handy for all styles. If you're questing in age order, it's firmly age of chaos, so a late unlock. Devotion and The World Wakes are both sixth age for those that care.
There is a lot of quest lore, and RS has a good story and lots of fun characters. It's worth going through at least once in order.

They need to make disruption shield more accessible. It’s not an instakill if you don’t have it, but it definitely helps newer players
As a returning player, I primarily returned for a second-screen game where I can engage in some active activities occasionally. However, the complexity was a bit overwhelming for my liking. I don't want to invest too much time in learning and executing various tasks; I simply want to relax and enjoy a moderately enjoyable experience. I wish the game were more accessible, requiring less mental effort to get started.

I (technically re-)joined 1-3 months before this vid 😅. Fun story if you wanna know why I say "Technically" re-joined:
My gf told me she plays Rs3; I remembered I played a fewn months of OSRS & was rushing ⛏️mining, literally Lv1 everything except the skills the tutorial forces you to do, and level 70-something mining. It was beautiful.
The idea was, my buddy was grinding smithing, so I decided I'd grind mining to be able to farm good ore for him. Had to stop for a month bc of life.
OSRS said they switched my account to RS3 a couple months later while I wasn't playing. I played a bit to continue leveling my old character on this new game but a little under an hr in, I finally found something to mine & noticed my 70+ levels in mining were gone 😢.
Either I messed up & erased my character or used a different email, but I had a brand new boy & logged off in frustration after less than an hour of playing RS3... so when I say "*Technically* re-joined", I mean very, VERY technically 😂
6-8 months in & (with a lot of information & gp from my gf) my fishing / cooking levels are both nearly ready for me to catch and cook Rocktail for my gf to do PVM.
Fortunately I only JUST (literally yesterday) found out that the core, food, & potion effects that boost stats allow you to catch, cook, make, & activate things of higher levels I'm 3 levels below Rocktail, smashing admiral pies to catch Rocktail & Blue Jellies on dxp wknd! 🐟 🪼
Also on the portable skilling world I found that with me & other people popping off cores, I get a lot of chances to get my crafting randomly boosted. My gf had given me some 400 Decorated Fishing urns & every time my crafting got the temporary boost, 80-100-something Decorated urns would get the water runes they needed, now I have like 400 urns I'll be filling with blue jellies 🪼 & rocktail. Times are fun 😅

i see alot of "this is gonna be the op way to kill this" but gloss over needing high level prayer and soulsplit crap to run bosses at a decent rate
Returned 1 month before double xp managed to get 120 necro during double xp the worst part of returning is doing quests since i have to look up every little thing to finish them only 260 qp doings quests for extinction atm it is the worst feeling other than that bunch of new stuff since i last played
For teir 90 necromancy weapons, you need 85 smithing.. not overly new player friendly
Can be assisted , you can do it with no skill reqs

Now if only they made Necromancy a proper F2P combat skill, then learning Necromancy would be worth it.

@MAXIM_One 1) i am a member. I bought the premier pass, 2) membership is now 12.99 a month and 3) it still doesn't negate what I said. If they are going to make a new combat skill that fundamentally changes the game, why not make it so it caps at 99 like the other 5 combat skill as opposed to 20.

@MAXIM_One you seem to miss understand. Melee range, mage, hp and prayer all goes to level 99 and as f2p you get capped to rune, blue d hide and mystic. I'd like to say for magic. And that's all you get. You can make it so you get t40 necromancy gear and make it fall in-line with the other combat style. That's what I'm trying to say. That should be basic knowledge.
@@Aioaverona those are the core skills that were built with the game when it released in the late 90s.... Of course they would be included.. necromancy is the newest skill, you want to play the game beyond, then pay up. A lot of games don't even have f2p, be grateful it goes to 20 at all imo.

I'll never stop finding it fun when people who've been playing for 15-20 years straight say "we have a content drought"
Like. Man, who would've guessed that you ran out of content after playing the game with minimal breaks over two decades
I haven't played "straight" more like last 3 years maybe since I started TH-cam. We have gotten used to having regular decent sized content releases, with a road map for them along the way.
So at the moment, it absolutely does feel like a content drought.
I'm happy for them to spend time fixing stuff though, it's important. But that doesn't change it :)
@@InitYeah To be honest, this is more about regular people who say that than about content creators. I can understand that CCs are out of game content because as your job it is normal for you to play every day, and even then most of you still manage to do fun or interesting stuff.
But even in that case i find it unfair to call it a drought

With the biggest update since necro coming in less than 24 hours i would not say we are in a content drought.
Necro was like 7 months ago to be fair and we haven't had anything "big" since Vorkath which was probably one of the least played boss launches. (Also almost 4 months ago)
Today mostly just brings some quality of life, it isn't content tbh.
Do you know what is the biggest threat to runescape 3? An even bigger threat than the fact that jagex was sold, again? Bonds. The psychology of bonds is killing the new and med lvl experince. it prevents people from pvm, skilling, fck, it prevents players from playing the game. How?
I brought a freind of mine into the game. I did my best to introduce him into the basics and things looked quite good, at first.... Then he realised that he just can buy bonds and sell them at the ge. At a bondprice this high, he just needed to do this 1 time to get 1b gp in 2 minutes. Now heres the question: first: if he already has 1b gp without any experience, why should he learn how to pvm, why should he trie to get a drop and why should he even buy gear to go to pvm, he already has 1b gp so early. This is absurd and shouldn´t be possible. I know, bonds are arround a long time, but they started with 7m, were a long time between 25-60m. In the past they fullfilled a purpose - in game currency for membership or cosmetics. But now bonds are a gameskip, wtf.
But it goes even further. Let´s say my friend is willing to do pvm. He works through some unlocks and gets an understanding for the game, then he goes bossing and recieves a drop. lets say he goes rasial. 6 hours rasial, luckly 1 drop, and very lucky to get not the gloves, but lets say the robes bottom. bottom is arround 170-210m right now? This drops would feel underwhelming compared to the powerboost of his mtx method. He won´t care about droplogs, he doesn´t even know that droplogs are a thing. His entire feeling for the game was destroyed by this and he never will feel the need to grind or get a vertain drop, because he learned - if I need a bunch of money, I just have to use my wallet. How long do you think he will continue to play runescape 3? You NEED to have a grindgame, as long as you can skip your first grind, to get started, you are lost forever. and please, don´t say "but there´s ironman mode" Guys, he´s a casual guy playing runescape for the first time. He does not know what´s the difference between an iron and if you are going to tell him, he would simply ask "why should i do that?" ironman mode is a very good alternative, but not for your first account.
You are right, it is similar to a new player getting a 50m coin prize from treasure hunter. 50m at level 20 will last for AGES. Then it also makes it feel super bad having to go make gp once it runs out. Because they have to now make 1m an hour?
However, you could also just say.. don't buy bonds? Like you said, bonds are a game skip. He bought them because he was like hold up, this gives me 1b gp without playing. You can't then also think, well now there isn't anything I want to do, when you chose to skip the content?
I guess it goes both ways.
