Isn’t it how beautiful it is to find artists on the internet? Like, the odds for you to find this album specifically out of a million others being upload at every second will always amaze me. You can say it’s because of the algorithm, and you’re supposed to get stuff like this. But are you really? How unlikely it is to find a playlist with a scrungly calico cat being accompanied by melancholic chords and unintelligible hymns.
ive been needing something to listen to for the more somber months of the year due to my seasonal depression, this album makes me feel so emotionally understood if that makes sense? downloaded this to my offline music, pls keep releasing more!
I have a strong feeling that this album will take me to another dimension if i listen to it very early in the morning, sitting alone on a bench in an empty park or walking on the empty street.
On the second track of the album as of typing this & I am already thinking of adding it to my favorites, this was exactly what I was looking for to make my art to or just enjoy life to, thank you if you are the true artist, people like you inspire me so much
I LOVE THIS!! I think its so well done, so much emotion in it! I love the way it makes you feel, like you understand the distraught. Its beautiful, keep going!! Remember me when youre famous!
I can't wait for my .WAV copy to download. Edit: listening to "appalachia" on Winamp made me borderline apotheosize. This kind of reminds me of Matt Majic. You should look him up! Edit^2: Asthmatic Kitty Records?
noticed this while listening but it sounds like theres cyphers hidden in like every track, does anyone know what they all mean? Also this sounds great, although im not one that enjoys ambient tracks, LOVED the drums
I'd like to start by saying I'm not somebody who listens to lo-fi, noise, ambient, experimental, glitch, free improv, free jazz, field recording music very much, so I'm probably not the intended audience. Fucking hell, I feel like there's a set number of genres you can write down before it becomes word vomit. There's only so much lo-fi alternative rock, experimental jazz, avant garde free-form to go around, maybe condensing it to the point where it would be reasonable, or omitting the genres altogether would probably let you differentiate yourself and this album from every single other lo-fi experimental alternative rock avant-garde jazz-like out there appalachia (5/10): -The buildup sections where there's overlap between all those noisy synths flow well together. -The strings that play near the ending sound very nice. -Nice tonal beginning to the album. After combing through the lyrics with a fine-toothed razor, I get the feeling that the song's about the singer's dislike of staying somewhere. Not very many negatives that wouldn't devolve into nitpicking, no section feels like it overstays its welcome to be honest. ochre (3/10): -I like the way the guitar sounds. *The vocals blend into the guitar. They're just very difficult to hear without reading the lyrics. *Reading the lyrics before the song I didn't expect it to be worded like that, in a bad way. *Far too lyrically dense with filler words thrown in there. *You'd think the filler words would help the flow of the song if they were thrown there. *They don't help with the flow of the song. *You can put more effort into singing, go on. It gets grating listening to throat mumbles after a bit. Mainly droning guitar with the most effortless singing I've heard in my lifetime (The word 'effortless' takes precedence over the singing) with a few interesting sounds and sections thrown in there. With the way the guitar sounds and strums thrown in you'd think the vocals would be drenched in dolour and angst. I'm assuming the lyrics are talking about taking care of a cat and being lonely, that's very literal, I'm sure there could be a separate meaning gleamed from this. hymen qua bipalium (4/10): -"I stomped that flower in the scarlet dirt" is a really evocative lyric, I thought it sounded nice enough to be a standout. -My ears got a little startled but didn't get blown off by the cut to the loud parts, so I'm assuming it's well mixed enough to not actually be annoying to listen to. -I appreciate the fact that you sang twice and overlaid the vocals on separate sides, it almost always sounds nice. *Oh no it's the same 'barely attempting to reach a note' singing again. Think every complaint I've made about the vocals before present here without the filler lyrics. *The instrumental sounded kind of forgettable, dare I say weak saus, I'm not including the ending of the song in that statement. I'm assuming the subject matter is being indecisive on how to deal with a relationship. There might be some figurative parallels to Bipalium worms? How they secrete enzymes into their prey and suck out their liquified innards. How they have simple reproductive organs (is that where the hymen part comes in? Might be overthinking it, not sure) fervor/languor (7/10): -I like the Electroplankton-like sounds near the beginning of the song. -The main looping isntruments don't sound boring enough to where you'd get tired of them after 3 loops or so. -Doesn't get too exciting, neither does it get too boring, completely reasonable and quite interesting to listen to honestly. Again this is where the negatives would devolve into me nitpicking. Fervor and languor would combine an intense passion with tiredness or oppression I believe, or maybe the name could be about the idea that these two feelings are hard to differentiate. tchotochke (3/10): -I like the melody the piano plays. *Vocals. At this point it might be a creative choice, not a fan personally. *The cut into the guitar section feels really strange and unnecessary, doesn't really add much to begin with, so I'm confused, I don't know whether it would be for the sake of the transition into the next song either. Apart from the piano melody and the abrupt guitar part near the ending, this is kind of a forgettable track. Probably something about having too many responsibilities piled on. enkephalins (mother tongue) (2/10): 30 something minutes of nothing. -The dissonant section that plays after 6 or so minutes. *Is this a field recording? Is the field a home desktop? I swear to god I can hear mouse clicking somewhere here. *Doesn't stay interesting enough to ever relisten to. *Just a mess, in the least listenable way possible. Revolution 9 with some anime girl, horror movie and hollow knight bug sounds thrown in there. For as hard as it tried, it definitely felt like the most uninteresting song of the bunch. Is the screaming that happens near the mid-end point of the song from Kirby Planet Robobot? It sounds like Noble Haltmann from that game. zephyr (tinnitus) (5/10): -Ear canal exorcism compared to what transpired. -The backwards speaking sounded kind of soothing. I probably wouldn't have wasted 20 minutes writing this out if I didn't think the album was interesting atleast, it's pretty different from the other music you've made. Is that cat picture A.I generated or not by the way? It's probably obvious to some people, but I'm just curious.
@@vevobrat4493Oh I see, thanks. The cover was definitely cryptic and interesting enough to be a standout. I imagine it's what drew in a lot of people in the first place, it did me.
Crazy find, thanks youtube. This is pretty nice!

Exactly, and if you think about it, the unpredictable sounds of this album are just as unpredictable as having found it. Chaos meets chaos
came for the cat, stayed for the calming chill vibes
My immediate thought after the first song title was "NITW".
If I had heard this album when I was 14 I would have built my identity on it for the next two weeks unbelievable thank you❤
