I guess they figure a lot of guitarists are looking straight down on their FX pedal boards so much they want to make it visually interesting as well as fun.....I think it's really cool!
I just realized how much more a ds-1 is to a fuzz than an overdrive. The buzz that sits on top of the fundamental like in a dual rectifier, the broken glass that cuts like a saw blade, that's fuzz. I always thought it was some kind of elusive special overdrive or distortion.
@@shatteredsquare That’s why I used those two as an example, bc they are similar, yet nobody would use the two terms interchangeably. Because they’re - separate thing. Harmonic tremolo sounds very similar to a univibe as well.
With all respect for EQD, they build amazing products, but their weird pricing strategy is just rediculous. 295 USD, a fixed price (not allowed to discount) is translated into 295 EUR, meaning EU citizens have to pay more than 20% extra for the exact same pedal. Nothing bad to say about the pedals they build but their customer service and their pricing leaves much to be desired
This is a great pedal. I played one the other day and love it.
Re-uploaded... The older one got taken down for some reason

If it was distortion, why would people call it fuzz? That’s like thinking phaser is a type of univibe.
@tyrancurtis6663 univibe is literally a type of phaser tho. I guess fuzz is literally a type of distortion. like youtube comments are literature lmfao
