    Excellent video - contractor wanted to charge $600 just for the board. I found it from North American HVAC for $144 - quite a mark-up. This video made the install a snap. Thanks so much. I finally have heat!

      We're glad you have heat now! You could have also purchased it from hvacpartsshop.com also, for considerably less than $600.00! We've got all the parts you need, so just let us know if there's anything else you need!

    Thank you for making this walk through video. This, coupled with both sets of instructions from the new and old control board made this possible. It was nice to meet you today, and thanks again for this video.

    Steve, your instructional video is awesome. You spent a lot of time explaining the circuit board install. Thanks to you, I now have a working furnace. I saved over 700 dollars! I had to pleasure to speak with you personally when I needed tech support. HVACPartsshop is a nice place to do business with.

    The board you installed doesn’t look like it is a 19V36. It looks like a 83M00. Your title says both? Your video is excellent.

    What a fantastic video. I'd hug that man if he was near me.!
    Thank you very much!
    The instructions that came with board... garbage.
    The only thing different from mine and his...
    My yellow and green wire were in the board together.
    I cut the green (ground ) from yellow and attached it to the ground.
    My board also came with a brown thicker wire labeled ACC on the board. That must be for a multi speed fan blower.
    I followed the brown wire to its origin and a 3 connector (black white brown) plugs into a 2connector. (Black white)
    Brown empty.
    Once again.. fantastic video THANK YOU !

    If you install the 19V36 board in a furnace that is dual-speed heat, the furnace will then be single-speed heat as the 19V36 board doesn’t support dual speed.
    Also, if the 19V36 install guide tells you to put the red “ACB LOW” wire on the “CONT” terminal of the 19V36 board - don’t do it. If you do this, your blower will run on low speed 7/24 continuously even when the thermostat is off. Instead, move that wire to one of the 19V36 board PARK terminals. The ACB LOW red wire is the low speed blower wire, and there is no low speed function after installing the 19V36 board, so the correct terminal for it on the 19V36 board is one of the PARK terminals. A PARK terminal is not connected to anything - it’s just a place to put an unused wire.

    Great Video!! Thank you so much. I had a yellow wire from the transformer connected to a green wire with a clip that was plugged into the 24 VAC RTN. The yellow wire I attached to the yellow wire from the harness, and the green wire to the green from the harness. Nothing is attached to the 24 VAC HUM on the new board. The blower now works, which it hadn't, but when I turn on the heat or AC, the 3 amp safety fuse pops.

    I've replaced two boards in a 2-1/2-3yr period so far. Board wouldn't let me clear the code. Also, it would never go in soft lockout mode. That's when I figured it was the board. Who's making these boards for Lennox?

    This is good information thanks, I have a BCC3-2 Rev B LB 90676 Cat No 65K29 that the unit is tripping the W28-XQ1A-3 32V 3Amp breaker switch that is talked about at 12:58 . Where does the blue one go that is on the W B Y C G row... and what is the blue wire for. Any thoughts?
    I'm going to go and check some wires now, and odds are replace the transformer (seems warm) and the safety 3A switch...

    • @davenone7312
      @davenone7312 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The blue wire goes to the "C" common terminal.

    • @skybluefeather397
      @skybluefeather397 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      How this worked out was from the thermostat there is supposed to be a yellow wire from the Y terminal. This was not the case. The small bundle had a blue wire and not a yellow wire and had a small sticker with a Y. However, in the basement there was no sticker and no Y. So it either fell of or wasn't there, and when the board was replaced the man who put it on tossed the blue wire (Y signal) onto the blue common terminal. And when the signal was thrown for cooling it tripped. Good that I found it and didn't throw a lot of money at it...

    Finally I found something to boost my confidence, I'm replacing a different Lennox board - the 50A55-120 which has been bypassed by my AC contractor. He wants $525 to replace the board. Trouble is I didn't see it before he bypassed it so if I swap wire for wire on to the new board it'll still be bypassed! I've been trying to get confirmation of blower wiring colors and Emerson, Lennox, White Rodgers won't talk presumably because I'm not in the trade.
    Since my blower is now running 24/7 I believe black was taken from Cool H and connected to Line where the safety switch connects to supply constant powr. So all I have to do is put it back on to Cool H or terminal E17. There are some discrepancies between my board and the one in your demo. It seems my Heat is yellow and I have two Park, brown and red...unless those were also moved (?)
    Since I'm going to use the exact same board I doubt I'll be using molex adapters. The only other thing you didn't mention was dip switches but again I'll just replicate.
    It's a shame you don't sell the board I need.
    Thanks for not holding the camera while you're also swapping wires. You'd be amazed at what some people post on TH-cam...

      Why wouldn’t you just check the wiring diagram.on the furnace or the one that comes w the board.?
