Also when mari was watching the news video on her phone at the end whilst missing the thing for adrien, in the video there is a rose, and the rose is RED!!!! I wonder if that's a hint at love? Since it began with chat giving ladybug a yellow rose for friendship, and ended with a red rose in the frame :p

@@plmsjhitts1054 That's one reason why I'm not really ready for the reveal yet. I'm afraid their relationships are not gonna be the same. For ladynoir, Marinette's probably gonna be stuttering a lot if she knows Adrien's the one flirting with her and for Adrienette, it's not gonna be dorky. Since they will know that they are partners i feel like it's gonna be a little boring 😅 I'm not ready for the reveal. I also love how Ladybug is teasing Chat and how Chat is flirting and trying to get Ladybug to like him, if they know who each other is we're gonna lose these...

@@angeliki1606 Well, when Marinette found out Adrien likes her in Cat Blanc, she stopped stuttering! The only reason she did that was because she was afraid he didn't! So if she ever finds out he's Cat Noir, I don't think she'll stutter but I do think she will keep teasing him! (hopefully 😂)
Just imagine Adrien didn't get the miraculous back and then Ladybug has to choose a new Cat Noir and she chooses Adrien and realises that he was Cat Noir, I WOULD DIE IF THAT HAPPENED

The sudden fear Marinette has over Adrien leaving is also due to the fact that she didn't stop Chat when he left. The regret she must have turned into fear of it happening again, that it didn't even occur to her that she'll see him very soon anyway. As for Adrien, he looked so sad when Mari didn't stop him, he must have thought he was disapointing everyone and that nobody wanted him as nobody stops him from leaving (friends and LB). They both showed their real selves and saw each other's personas at the same time, it's really intense

Ladybug loves cat noir but because she is so caught up with Adrien she ignores him. After the special, I think ladybug will see how much cat noir means to her and may go after him. Adrien might go after marinette but idk. He’ll probably have to work on rejecting Kagami somehow .
Yeees!!! I feel like that's what will happen! To be honest, neither Marinette will be able to COMPLETELY move on from Adrien and same goes with Chat Noir towards Ladybug. I think both plagg and tikki knew a long time ago, for example kwamibuster, when they hang out in mrs. mendeleiv's classroom. Also there was a line I can't remember in what episode, but plagg tells adrian to ask ladybug out or decide if he likes marinette or something, and plagg says "that's right, kill two birds with one stone, especially since they're the same bird" or some analogy like that. They found out when they both detransformed in front of each other with their eyes closed, so tikki and plagg saw.

does anyone else just realize how many times adrien has basically figured out that mari is ladybug but mari hasn’t even had a second thought about thinking that cat noir was adrien. i mean they both have seen the regular person and the superhero standing next to each other but cat noir still believes that mari is ladybug and i really hope that they are going to be able to find out each other’s identities in the end without having to give up there miraculous. ( but if you really think about it mari could just let each other keep their miraculous even if they know each other’s identities because she is the new guardian)

Woah. You just made me realize something about Marinette/Ladybug's arc in the story that I'm shocked no one else has talked about.
One of my favorite things about the NY Special is how during that whole Chat Noir giving up his Miraculous to Marinette on the bike, is that they basically broke the barrier of their identities just for a moment. Both Adrien and Marinette had great sadness on their faces when they looked at each other, and the way they stared into the other's eyes just surpassed words. For one moment they were connected: Marinette AND Ladybug with Adrien AND Chat Noir, if that makes sense. That's why Marinette's scene on the bike was so dramatic, because it was her RESPONSE to Chat Noir giving up his Miraculous. She failed to do something as Ladybug in favor of covering her eyes to avoiding seeing him detransformed, and at first, I was disappointed by that. But when you mentioned that she must have been thinking of Chat during the bike scene, I was awestruck! It makes so much sense!! Now I understand why that moment was so powerful. It transcended the barrier of their identities and honestly, it was genius. I feel like the special is criminally underrated, especially with all the hate it's getting for minor things. There's so much positive to focus on!! Excellent video! Please keep it up!!

7:00 I thought that Marinette was running after Adrien like this was because she thought she wouldn't see Chat Noir again and she didn't run after him so now that she had a chance to go after Adrien she took it.
Basically she regretted not going after Chat Noir and since she has feelings for both of them she at least wanted to make one of them stay.
Which explains the "I already lost Chat Noir, I can't lose Adrien too". Even after she was going after Adrien (her *crush* ) she was thinking that how she lost Chat.
That's also another hint she loves him 🤗

Ladybug is a girl who finds it hard to be honest with her self in the New York special. And it’s not like she wouldn’t feel anything for cat noir after what they’ve been through, it would make sense for her feeling to start coming up for him around the Cat Blanc episode. Or maybe a little later or earlier.

I didn’t even think about the fact that she did over react with running after him. I think it is reasonable to say she was thinking more about Chat at the moment. I doubt she was even thinking about the long-run, but she had just lost her partner. She was pretty upset already, and it maybe made her feel really in the moment.
I think she was scared. Scared of losing Chat. Not of losing Adrien, but she didn’t wanna see him go. It just made it worse. It was like a coping. It was like she was _talking_ to Chat when she said ‘I love you’ more than (at at least the same) as Adrien.

I feel like there's a reason why they zoomed in on adrien taking off his ring. It probably goes back to the Quantum masking. With the miraculous on it probably changes their voices to everyone's ear hints is why ladybug can't hear adrien aka chat noir. When he took off his ring the Quantum Masking is off aka his voice is exposed and she realized deep down adrien is chat noir. Hints is why she hugged him the way she did.

I completely agree with this video and I think your analysis is AMAZING- there were some things you pointed out that I didn’t even realise myself😭❤️. Just to add on and this is my theory;
In season 3, after the events of Cat Blanc Marinette realised just how much Cat Noir meant to her. A few episodes later in the finale of season3, that was further confirmed. She’s comfortable around Cat Noir: he is her support network and she doesn’t want to lose him. She’s also conflicted about her feelings for Adrien and I think that’s due to how different Adrien and Cat Noir act around her. We saw Adrien stand up for Marinette in the episode “Ladybug” when he confronted Lila, sadly Marinette didn’t see this. Perhaps if Adrien exhibited most of his Cat Noir traits around her, she’d be able to realise how similar if not IDENTICAL the two are. I think in the New York special Marinette again realised her closest male friend is Cat Noir and she can’t imagine not having him. Now notice how awfully similar that is to when she told cat noir in the episode frozer “I can’t even begin to imagine what life would be like with him..” (referring to Adrien). She now begins to question whether her love for Adrien is really worth it. In that scene where Alya tells her now is the time to be real with your feelings she reacted the way she did because that’s how she should’ve reacted when CN left. She regretted not being clear with her feelings for CN and now she is unclear with her feelings for Adrien. Bottom line is: Ladynoir is going progress in season 4😍😍😍😍😍😍

Yes! I noticed this too! That scenario with the fake villain was supposed to make Adrienette closer but it's a parallel for what actually happens later. This wasn't JUST about Adrien falling for Marinette but Ladybug falling for Chat Noir. The reversal is happening!!

But the I love you was for both but a little more for chat. That's why I don't understand why she ran for Adrien when she was gonna see him again.
