those of us who know twins, can usually easily tell most identical ones apart, usually by mannerisms etc. i have 5 sets in my immediate family, by the time they reach adulthood, there's always little quirk differences.

I believe that they were mimicking each other and it took until they were about 9 months old. When they were 8 weeks old, I had their ears pierced and had two different earrings on them. As they grew, I absolutely could tell them apart because of their personalities. Even now, they look exactly the same if they have their hair pulled back. The minute they speak, their personality shows through. Ever so slightly though.

If you are having problem telling them apart,you need to have some code or a word or something to be sure. But the other sibling mustn't know. I have identical nieces. Adults nowadays. Always easy to tell apart when you know them, but even now, people can’t tell them apart until they get to know them. Considering the voices used that's unfortunately not correct as the voice used for Alyssa's is higher while Courtney got a lower tone(not much but compared to Alyssa's) mature voice. On the other hand if they took the voices used into effect he could say Alyssa sounds like an immature child/teenager while Courtney sounds like a mature sensible woman.

I have identical nieces. Adults nowadays. Always easy to tell apart when you know them, but even now, people can’t tell them apart until they get to know them. However, I still have trouble with their voices over the phone. I still hate to admit it, so I chat until I can tell, very different personalities. 😂
