I know you don't want to discuss pregnancy on your channel but even hearing you say 'box full of baby things' makes my wee heart happy 🥹💛 now to watch the rest of the video lol x
i love love love your videos, especially the "slightly chaotic" ones... You are the best, warm, funny and inspiring as always!!! Warm hugs coming your way Jen
Hello, Jen! I discovered your channel two weeks ago, and very much appreciate your eclectic, big range of reading! And you just have a lovely vibe. ☺️ More chaotic books/reading, please! Looking forward to your Sunday posts now… thank you for all you’re sharing here. 🙏🏻 Tracy B. 💜
Loved this video and so love book organisations on all levels .X so pleased and excited about the box of baby things and then seeing you looking fab and blooming in your dungarees.x😍 I've been a Midwife for nearly 40years and still working and great joy from it.Take care.x🎉❤😊
I’m always looking for more sci fi recs so would love to see those shelves explored over on Patreon. And your lil overalls-babybump is just so adorable, hope you’re all doing well ✨🤰📚
Funny how I heard you talk about dimmer switches and power light bulbs and that’s all I can think about now. Especially because you are right, they are not compatible but you can buy specific light bulbs that are compatible (LED or some variety of). Why I feel the need to comment on it I don’t know, but if you think that is as good an option as compared to getting in an electrician to remove the dimmer switches (dimmer switches can also be power saving as you are drawing less current through the light bulb). Anyways great vlog as always. I highly recommend the collections Defying Doomsday and Rebuilding Tomorrow. I loved both a lot and read at least two new authors from those books!
Thanks for flagging that some are compatible, that's good to know. We need to research it more; it's mostly just a problem in this spare room, so it's been far down the to-do list. x
I'm happy that there are a lot of short story collections that you mentioned here, that I've already read and loved based on previous recommendation from you ❤
Hi Jen, your recommend books always end up on my top lists, recently Chrysalis was a five star ⭐️ I’m really looking forward to your best of 2023 video ❤
hi jen! yoko ogawa has been translated a lot more into Spanish and I've read books by her that haven't been translated in English. She has amazing stories! There is one called the girl who when to school on a hippo and it's one of the best books I've read ever.Sometimes when a writer writes in a foreign lenguage we can't appreciate their full potential :(
Both Revenge and Sweet Home are among my favourite short story collections. So intrigued by How to Breathe Underwater and have ordered it. Very excited to read it - thank you!
Watching this video as a calming companion to my morning, and just now noticed I accidentally/subconsciously dressed up as you (denim dungarees and leopard print shirt) ♥
Jen, have you ever looked at a book on your shelf which you have absolutely no idea whether you had read it or not? Like, it seemed to be both having been read as well as not yet. I obviously have such book(s) on my shelf.😂
The only time I think this applies to me is if I read a section of a book for uni/school, so it falls into an 'in between' section, but not really a case of forgetting. x
Thanks for being here everyone. I hope you enjoy the vlog x

I don’t separate my sci-fi; all my novels are together in the one place. I went through those in last year’s vlogmas if you want to watch those ☺x
The Christmas Appeal is an absolute hoot! I laughed through the whole thing. It’s a gem!
Glad to hear it ☺️ x

I just also ordered Greengates yesterday. What a coincidence to see you mention it in this video.
Snap :) x
Fun video! I'm working up to my own bookshelf reorganization, so watching this gave me an extra push to just do it.
Happy organising! x
So many interesting sounding books. A poem about disability, books and mermaids sounds amazing.
