Quick note before I go to work: In "Long Walk Home", the trick is to turn around periodically to scare that thing away. It doesn't like to be looked at. And yes, there is an actual ending... according to the developer.

In my experience working at a theater, that's maybe 2% of the trash you see left behind in an auditorium every showing. Because apparently trash is so much harder to carry when it's empty as you're walking past the trash can at the door you HAVE TO EXIT THROUGH.

I think it's how I used to feel watching unus annus (RIP), and all his older videos, Mark has such an affinity for making entertainment. I had the same thing happen a couple years ago. House next to me got rented out to a couple of college kids. One night one of the college kids got dropped off in front of my house by his drunk friends by mistake. He thought my house was his (he was drunk, and its a neighborhood where all the houses look the same), and he tried to get in the front door and had made his way through my back gate, to my back door, got naked and crapped himself all over my back porch by the time the cops showed up.

All "where's the blacksmith" jokes aside, my mom (who is mostly deaf) knows Mark's voice from 2 rooms away and will yell "WHERES THE BLACKSMITH" as loud as she can whenever she hears it.
It's such a warm and fuzzy thing for me because she feels like she's missing out on a lot of things and gets upset and frustrated often. But not when it's Mark, she knows that voice, and she knows that he makes her laugh, and that she can make us laugh too.
Thanks Mark, I'm gonna play this video in the kitchen tomorrow and I will bet right now that she will come running (hollering about a blacksmity) to see.

So to clarify my mother has a condition that has caused her to lose hearing over time. She still speaks clearly.
She did come running (and hollering) in when i played it the next day and said something about how Mark always yells and even though yelling tones of voice usually bother her its okay because he's funny.
And thank you sweet people who spoke up to the less than polite comments but I'm flattered that someone saw the way I wrote a TH-cam comment and decided it must be from a book or something. 😆

That lovely "Where's the blacksmith" joke, I remember it fondly. I first heard it in my anime club, where I first learned about Mark's channel, when they played the animation. A year or two later I watched the video series where it originated from "Eleusis." Good times, good times. It's still one of my favorite classic Markiplier moments.
