I must say, my very 1st time ever hearing Orbit Culture was when I watched your reaction to Vultures of North 2 days ago. So cool to now be watching your 1st reaction to this band. I have been so shocked over this weekend binging every album and song they have on Spotify (shuffle of course) and I haven't came across a song I dislike in any way yet. I'm so proud of Orbit Culture since I'm also from Sweden. I discovered them at the Galacticriminal's channel. I was lucky to see them live back in, I think 2018 and meet up with the guitarist and we hit the road with our motorcycles. That was epic. I really hope to see them soon again. I found your channel yesterday and I can't get how I haven't noticed your channel earlier. I also discovered Lorna Shore in October 2021 and that's how I found you now. You're like a long lost friend I just stumbled upon. I've worked as a roadie on one of Swedens then biggest festivals called Hultsfreds Festivalen back in 2005-2008 and miss that so much. You haven't HEARD much from them in the last 7.5 years because they weren't properly promoted, man.
Niklas Karlsson is the lead singer/frontman/producer/promotor, that clearly does not want to take his passion for this music and band, and hand it over to some company, but I HAVE to say, as I mentioned on their channel, that we could have had them mainlining and headlining their own shows for half a decade already, in my opinion, had they been able to work out a small contract for maybe 2 albums, and signed with a major metal label, they would be front-page news long before now.
I understand that he wants to keep the profits to the band internal, by doing so, it limits his exposure dramatically as we have seen.
Last year they had 14 concerts, ALL in Europe, 4 being directly in Sweden itself, that should show that they need a lot more exposure since they really ARE that great of a band.

Dude this band is amazing! Not a huge fan of the older stuff such as this one, but the new album is absolutely bonkers. You should check out some of their newer singles such as Neshna, The Shadowing, Rebirth or Open Eye. If you want their slower more melodic side The Newborn One is a great find. Since you obviously will hear the metallica influences here, they actually covered Hardwired (and it is ten times better than the original)

Orbit Culture is a perfect mix of the Gothenburg sound, Metallica, SYL and modern sounds all blended perfectly together. Basically an audio history lesson of metal. Actually absurd how well they mix it all together and execute track after track. So happy they finally growing and SHOULD be huge soon if not already IMO.
