In episode 2, Kunal and economist Montek Singh Ahluwalia explore how India achieved liberalisation in 1991 - the economic crisis and what caused it, and what led India to open up to the world. On the nature of India’s economy at the time, Montek says, “India had locked itself in a highly restricted situation.”
They also discuss public investment in industries, income inequality, and how private industry can push public industry to do better.

I really think Newslaundry should think about having paid one time streaming options for individual videos or series. I think by doing this, your content will reach a wider audience base. You will also be able to rope in viewers who might not subscribe to Newslaundry otherwise and gain from it in the process. This will also decrease the possibilities of piracy of your content happening in the future, or else with this kind of quality content, I'm certain that you will fall prey to piracy in near future.
