Those came out quite easy I just did one 2008 Chevy 2506 L gas I was able to get the caps pressed but I couldn’t grab them with a pair of pliers so what I did is cut a slit in there with a angle grinder and took an air hammer and pounded them the rest of the way out
Hi Benji, Unfortunately there is not a high demand for the RWD duramax driveshafts. Your best bet would be to contact a driveshaft shop and get one custom made.
Excellent!
I’ve got a 2019 3500 coming up and this will save me with those staked joints.
Thank you!
Great to hear!

Was this driveshaft ever used? Like no rust whatsoever lol. He has pretty clean hands fer a mechanic
No, this is a brand new driveshaft that we offer on our website. This is one of the warehouse workers, not a mechanic.
Thanks
Спасибо, информация помогла очень. Привет из России)
Will you guys ever make an aluminum shaft for RWD duramaxs ?

I've never heard of heating a yoke on a drive shaft to remove a cap. They make u joint puller to remove the caps
They are actually set with a plastic retainer that needs to be melted out. We recommend this method as to not damage the driveshaft.
I would never use a puller on an aluminum shaft.
