I’ve purchased much magic, and a lot of the gimmicked tricks I buy aren’t as convincing and clean and your free tutorials. You’re a gentleman and a scholar for sharing your hard work with us.

This is an amazing trick. I have been intrigued about this principle. The effect happens in front of your eyes. Nicely done ✅👏

Wow this routine is insane. I caught the cut marks on the card during the act but I thought I was just seeing things after you switched it to the clean card. The switch was so smooth it gaslit my brain into unseeing something I wasn't supposed to see during the performance! Just! Wow!!!

You could actually paint very slightly on the edges of the cut out circle and the hole itself on the open face joker to better hide the seam for the orange-red shirt. I actually did spot it just barely during the performance, I know you say the audience won't see it, but it was just slightly noticeable in that part and right on the black line area.

You're getting me into a new realm of magic I swear! I have been doing this since I could remember but I was so resentful of using stuff made for magic but seeing these effects and simple principles...it's just insane to me that I ever shut this side of magic out, but yet again I never had someone like yourself opening the door to new ideas. Gets me excited to click on a video every time!

Brilliant! I recently used my several months off work following cancer surgery to begin working on card tricks to have fun with and fool co-workers and family. The little bit I did with rubber bands just before was so much fun, I had to keep going. This trick beats everything I have found. I can't wait to build it and practice it, getting ready for "prime time". Thanks!

Maaaaate, all these cards gaffs making me buy more decks. I’m cool with it because they’re awesome tricks and I want to learn them, but my wife said to me yesterday “I’m cool with you learning this magic stuff, but how many decks of cards does one man need?!”. I replied with “as many as it takes to be as good as Lloyd Barnes!”

Great effect! What about forcing the gimmicked card (an actual ungaffed card) then physically cutting the circle out with your circle cutter and proceeding to perform as described? That would be a triple convincer, freely selected card (😉), spectator physically cuts out the circle (with your help and foolproof setup to ensure it is precisely where it needs to be), then give them the cut circle as a souvenir.
Would that work, or is it too finicky?

Awesome trick and tutorial. Thanks. Glad to see that your channel keeps growing, you deserve it. However, on camera, when you say "Look closely there is no evidence a hole was ever on the card." We can easily see the cuts on the jack where the hole was. I know live spectators would most likely not see anything, but on the camera it is very easy to spot. Still a great trick either way and pretty much all of the tricks you have been showing/teaching are great as well. Thanks again and keep it going man.
