It's the same tech used for Aespa's Ai's ,K/DA's AI Characters, and Blackpink's "Ready to Love" MV they did with I think Fortnite? There's actual idols wearing the movement tracking suits doing the choreography and singing for the AI. Who is doing it? Idk but I hope we find out because the real idols GOT SOME DAMN PIPES. Plus like...The song SLAPS. It's not like its a sound we've never heard before, but its cool. ALSO there's a live stage on MBC's channel, where you can actually hear vocals of the idols that voice each AI.
I don't know why you guys think there aren't real producers, choreographers, singers, or idols that the AI are modeled after. Just because the video was virtual and the concept of the group is virtual, doesn't mean there aren't real people working behind the scenes and that they just use an AI learning machine to mash up a bunch of stuff. Did K/DA do that? No, there were real people behind the scenes for them too. Bad take on a good song with a lot of hard work nthat went into it and I usually like your guys' content.
I can understand not liking it, but I mean why not, when you have groups like K/DA, Apooki (and technically Sia) out there which is basically the same thing (they hid their identities to make it big. It also allows for the group to go to no limits, pressures, and heights, as well as the real dancers and singers doing their own thing!
@@swaxwa98 so people are weird because they like it?? That’s a dumb thing to say. Just because it’s not your cup of tea doesn’t mean it have to be like that for everyone else. Nonsense
This review was bias from the start which is unlike y'all. You guys went into this with bad attitudes. Tbh I don't think you guys are looking at the other possibilities. Maybe these girls did train for several years and have anxiety or don't meet certain beauty standards and don't want to be shown to the public. You just lost a subscriber because this is not the kind of vibes I like from my kpop reviews. I personally liked the song and I don't see why all this hate is necessary. If you don't like the concept or the use of CGI fine but you can still be respectful of the girls and all the hard work people put into this.
What if the singers behind the group and very talented but don't meet the visual standards of the kpop industry at this time? This was possibly the solution the girls had with the company. 🤔
Yea alot of people seemed outraged as if the girls behind these AI’s didn’t literally SIGN ON to be just the voices. Like I’m 100 percent sure they had to consent to this😭
Y'all overreacting. There are REAL artists behind this and trainees that get paid. Watch the Choreography they made of this song and you will see that they are real
dont be one sided it just depends on the situation maybe the dancers and the singers behind this virtual kpop, want to showcase their talent but want a private life to avoid issues and etc. or they are afraid to show their faces to the public because they are not confident of themselves u already how harsh kpop industry is, one must be fit to their high beauty standards but they dont want to get a plastic surgery to change their faces to fit in so this is the way for them to pursue their passion and make their dreams happen without changing themselves to fit in the korean standard and without stressing about being in public and etc
I love the song, this is one of the best AI mvs I’ve ever seen. I do feel it is a shame that the artists behind these characters do not have a face, but that also adds to the mystery of the group. I’m ok with this type of thing, cause nothing will replace the love between real kpop idols and their fans.
I feel like people don't give enough credit to the artists that worked on this, and I don't mean the music artists, I mean the graphic designers. This video DOES have a pretty big budget already, and it kinda does hurt to say that it looks low budget when the graphic designers and other people who worked on it likely worked hard
it's more like virtual idols via motion capture... not A.I. cuz we don't have the tech for actual Articial intelligence idols yet for like smooth natural movement and voice... KDA or Aespa just have a different art style but actually the tech behind this is better than KDA or Aespa since it' more photo realistic and fluid. The physics is good too like hair, clothes, accessories. Dance movement is great cuz it's motion capture from real people who dance and sing. There are also artists who do a lot of effort making the CG... so there are people here that actually benefit from this cuz everything about this is human made lol. The dance practice video is actual humans, obviously all good dancers. Think about it, real human idols who debut, most no one cares about them and eventually end up disbanding unless you're from a big company which like 5% of human idols....
There are actual people who are the members of the group, but they post the Virtual version of them. They aren't AI as that's just artificial intelligence. This is more CGI
This is K-pop Maybe their songs are not your taste, In Korea Pandora gets a lot of Love, K/DA The group was created to promote the League World Championship and to sell in-game K/DA skins of the characters in League of Legends. K/DA not a official girl group but Mave is a girl group AI that officially debuted, of course they are different...Mave will not threaten other groups,They're just AI that don't need to be compared
I feel like people are reading way too much into this.. like?? its good and interesting, why can t we just enjoy it. why the song slapped so hard thooo🫣
I like the concept of this mave, I think they want to try new things in the world of music and that's fine I think as long as it's good it's okay right ?
I really like the song. I just wish the girls behind the vocals had debuted instead. Apparently, the rapper Tyra is Lee Jaye from My Teenage Girl. Perhaps we'll see the real girls in the future.♥️
It's funny because the first step to accept change... it's to try to deny it and resist it. Just like this guys, they are the perfect example. Of course they will not accept it, and it's ok, it's actually part of the change progress. Unlike people like me and many others who are already accepting it, we are just one step ahead of of those who don't, THAT doesn't mean they will not catch up, they will eventually catch up, like it and accept it. This guys saying they will not watch anything related to this group EVER again, and making all those, actually valid yet recyclable comments, i wanna see them in a couple of years, loving and vibing with this new kpop era songs. Just give them time people, dont attack them, patience is all that matters here, they will accept it eventually. Just like MAVE said, Pandora box it's open, it's just a matter of time and patience. And even if they manage to resist the change, which i highly doubt, THIS is the future guys, and it will carry on with... or without you 👾
with pros and cons to this concept I think pros such they can hit difficult hard choreo and we won't have to worry about the health of these idols like we are constantly doing with the real ones and cons like is we will become desensitize to having that personal interaction with idols
The song actually SLAPS and the MV is much better than the Blackpink/PUBG Mobile collab! As for MAVE and "Pandora", it's actually being talked about a LOT hence why you and many other reviewers online via TH-cam, music news sites, etc, have uploaded reactions. If it was failure, well, we wouldn't be watching or reading much about it and MAVE would have been swept under the rug. Key point here, you must have an "open" mind about fans who either stan or are a fan of their music; for example a fan who may not enjoy a fan meet amongst a large group of people, etc. (ie. an introvert) or who lives in another country and wouldn't mind to stan a group like MAVE via their VR device (ie. Oculus, computer or mobile device). It's still early but VR/metaverse is a real thing out there and although it hasn't "blown" up yet, it's already on its way in an ever changing digital world. Also, I'm sure if AESPA specifically NAEVIS and their Virtual Members aeKARINA, aeGISELLE, aeWINTER, and aeNINGNING were to release a song/MV which was sung by completely different voices aside from AESPA they could fall under your same reaction but there's always a method to the madness when it comes to unorthodox releases such as "Pandora". It makes for quite a discussion/debate for sure and I'm definitely not alone. I'm supporter of your channel and appreciate your reaction! Keep up the great work my brudduz!
fyi this is pretty much a promotion of a game, one member is from a game called Paragon Overprime but idk if they'll also put other members in the future. also, i feel bad for the people in the credits, there are real producers, lyricists, dancers, and singers behind them.
i completely agree with you guys and i'm actually surprised there are so many people mad at you in the comments. it feels like kpop fans will eat up anything without any critical thinking. these ai idols don't have to train, practice, sweat or go through any struggles because they are not real! this is definitely disrespectful to real artists
@@TheDevilsReject2785 It's different styles yes but obviously in this mave pandora video photo realistic visuals and physics requires more advanced tech and effort to pull off...
Thought your reaction was a little dismissive at the start, which isnt usually your style ( very surprising!). Perhaps look into the real composers and producers and you'll find a bit more of their history and credentials. "Secret Weapon" has worked with GOT7 and collapsedone/mirrorboy/Defsoul. Ace seemed more open and i agree with the cg needing a bit more detail and expression for the faces. The detail in the sets and bkgrounds was good but I want to connect to the group more. Expressions and personality would do that and it felt a bit disconnected. The song was good but needed a better hook. I must say i disagree with Dame totally. If he feels this disrespects idols training, does he think anime and all animated features disrespects actors and their training and performances? Does he feel the same for anime voices possibly being "computer generated" and not real actors? I understand personal opinions but surely you cant just apply it to one area ie just kpop and not other animated series/films. Also 1 name that no one has mentioned is Hatsune Miko. Massive Japanese virtual pop star..collaborated with Pharrell and opened for Lady GaGa. So Mave is new to kpop but not a new idea.
The is alright it's not on my playlist but I have to agree I don't think I can support a group in a concert setting. When I think of Aespa I assume the AI could be apart of the concert experience but still see the group in the physical.
This is what I feared AESPA was going to be like when they debuted. Thankfully, I was proven wrong. Musically it's okay, but it's really difficult to take seriously. All this does is make me think that the girls actually singing this weren't nearly attractive enough to put in a music video. BTW, did you see the Korean tourism bureau's "virtual mascot" they had in commercials a few months back? It's a dead ringer for Red Velvet's Irene.
You keep using the word AI. This isn't made via artificial intelligrience, it's the exact same as KDA, an entire team of animators, creatives, so on making the cgi models of the characters. Work went into making this. It was actually made by the production studio flipevil whose done work for aespa and many other kpop videos as well.
I honestly didn’t think they looked expressionless … for K-pop this is typical performance and it’s the style. It’s motion captures and also facial capture so whatever the idols do they do.
I love u guys reactions but u shouldnt talk bad abt the group like that. If u know the kpop industry u would know some Idols train for up to 15 yrs and never get to debut bc they have Talent but Lack the beauty Standard but those who have the visuals but Lack Talent get to debut. The kpop Industry is kinda messed up so i like what the Company is doing the Trainees with Talent but Lack visual get to debut and have their Private Life without getting bashed for their visual and still make money. And one thing zena isnt a someone they made into an AI and so goes for the rest of the girls zena is the only member of mave in overprime which is a game. And never compare smaller companies to bigger ones bc they are known.
Y’all need to get out of that “AESPA is only good at this” these are real ppl behind these AI’s that might not be ready to show they faces and y’all comparing them and for what. In my opinion this song is fire and y’all need to stop being biased and stop watching all that anime 😂of course AI’s are stiff. So is Aespas but mave danced they asses off. Aespas barely do anything
So, what I'm hearing is that they don't like the A.I production of the new wave of kpop. That's messed up, man. So they're basically saying that they don't stan K/DA, technically, because they are also A.I. in that fact, they shouldn't be talking smack about artists like this. I'm just gonna go ahead and say it for you all, they've officially been canceled. Good job!
K/DA is not the same thing as this. K/DA is using already made characters from a video game to promote that video game. It’s also being voiced by already known stars and it’s known by literally everyone who’s who.
Its fine not to like them, I liked the song and dance but the avatars are a little stiff. Also, AI and Virtual idols are two completely different things. I feel like some people get them mixed up and try to use they interchangeably. Mave has actual people behind them, we just dont know their identity. Which is fine, Vtubers exist, vocaloids exist, K/DA, marshmallow, Gorillaz, daftpunk, etc... Vocaloids even have their own concerts with holograms and LOL has done concerts where you cans see the virtual singer live. I understand not liking it because its a new concept though, thats how I felt about all the aforementioned artist who dont show their faces. It takes some getting used to cause its a a big change from the "normal". I also highly doubt AI could replace actual producers anytime soon, music takes too much effort.
The song is great and I love the artists that sung this song, I have no hate against it lmfao. But the company posted the dance practice for this with actual dancers and I preferred that over the whole MV🧍🏽♀️ yes the graphics were dope but compared to KDA and AESPA this was weak. This song just sounds like its been done before but imo I really don’t mind it
Mave fans fighting for their life in these comments. If they don’t like the group then they don’t like it. Just move on. Sitting here writing whole dissertations!
The thing I hate about this is that they are saying that there aren't real people behind this, they don't animate the dance and the voices aren't AI and them saying that they stole faces from other idols most likely because of the hair since if you notice the one in the middle looked like Lisa most likely because of the hair. The group is under metaverse ent. Which means that their entire concept is AI or animated or metaverse or whatever so if they didn't want to be hidden behind some virtual characters then they would've debuted under another company. And it kinda sounded like the things they were saying ( mostly the guy in the middle) was just hating on them for no specific reason besidds them being virtual and also everything they said about people putting in work and how disrespected they must feel, don't you think they would've left and went to another company instead? And them saying that the idols working hard for the choreography just for someone to be behind a computer programming the song and stuff is just plain disrespectful to the idols who sang the song and learned the dance and for the people who worked on the mv and everything in general this video has a dislike from me along with an unsubscribe
I think this group is okay but I don’t see how this is going to work out. I wonder how they can promote without an actual artist behind the AIs. I guess we’ll have to wait and see
Damn Hatsune Miku & K/DA is still better but that’s funny even the virtual group be lacking in facial expressions 😂😂 I just realized damn that’s the 2nd time I’ve heard AI generated entertainment
It’s a good song but I completely agree with your perspective in not supporting them moving forward. It’s also kinda sad to me that they have current groups already dancing to the song as a challenge and acting like their in support because the songs good. 😢
I don't think y'all in the comments are getting their point. It doesn't even matter that they're real people behind them, especially when the singer may not be the dancer. They hire a vocalist with amazing vocals to sing, then they hire a talented dancer to do the dance, then they hire the best programmer to make them visually appealing when idols have been training for years to master singing AND dancing WHILE having stage presence, not to talk of the plastic surgeries they do to fit the standard, all to earn money while chasing their dreams! I agree with them, I like the music but I simply can't support these kinds of things that undermine and disrespect the blood, sweat, and tears that actual human beings put in to get to where they are. If this kind of thing takes off, say Bye to your K-pop groups! Cause this is cheaper than having actual people working for you. Companies want money the cheapest way possible, and y'all are living under a rock if you think these companies will not follow in others' footsteps once they see it's actually working.
My problem with mave is the absence of any human touch whatsoever, i mean ofc course their are humans involved behind the scenes but since it is not visible to the public, the ai looks extremely weird and creeps people out. The success of K/da was because they had actual idols behind the scenes which allowed a stronger connection between fans and the respective idols because the fans knew who was behind the voices and it gave them incentives to stan kda and look our for more of their songs because it gave them a chance to praise their faves. For aespa's case they have actual human members and imo sm has done a great job of not letting the ae characters overshdow the actual human members thus again leading to a more humanly connection between the fans and the idols. This human touch is thus very important because kpop not only revolves around the music an artist puts out but also their personalities and it helps the fans estabilish a connection with groups and relate to them.

Bad take on a good song with a lot of hard work nthat went into it and I usually like your guys' content.
so true
Obsessed with this song and the production of this!
Hatsune Miku as well
5th gen kpop finna be all A.I. lmao
I love this song and video tbh. Ima try to learn this choreo lol
Ya'll already went into this reaction biased sooo
The crazy thing about this, is that they actually have a comeback stage, lol
I just feel like they are too talented to be AI’s like we need the real members
YES
don't give us nonsense reason to like this ai concept lmao people are so weird nowadays.
@@swaxwa98 so people are weird because they like it?? That’s a dumb thing to say. Just because it’s not your cup of tea doesn’t mean it have to be like that for everyone else. Nonsense
They kinda ate idk 🤷🏽♀️
they ate fr
Like I’m 100 percent sure they had to consent to this😭
Ppl complaining about this acting like kda doesnt exist before this lol
I like the song specially the choreo ngl I think they're the 2nd gg that I'm going to stan
Y'all overreacting. There are REAL artists behind this and trainees that get paid. Watch the Choreography they made of this song and you will see that they are real
The song is awesome!
I don’t have a problem with it but I can see why people say that remind them of aespa and kda but I don’t mind it I really loved this song too🤷🏽♀️
dont be one sided it just depends on the situation maybe the dancers and the singers behind this virtual kpop, want to showcase their talent but want a private life to avoid issues and etc. or they are afraid to show their faces to the public because they are not confident of themselves u already how harsh kpop industry is, one must be fit to their high beauty standards but they dont want to get a plastic surgery to change their faces to fit in so this is the way for them to pursue their passion and make their dreams happen without changing themselves to fit in the korean standard and without stressing about being in public and etc
I don’t have a problem with it tbh 🤷🏾♀️
I love the song, this is one of the best AI mvs I’ve ever seen. I do feel it is a shame that the artists behind these characters do not have a face, but that also adds to the mystery of the group. I’m ok with this type of thing, cause nothing will replace the love between real kpop idols and their fans.
Zena now appears as a hero in the Paragon The Overprime game.
Even in the music video, the cover of the game is visible moment-to-moment.
This is the second kpop debut this year that impresses me the most. They can grow really big in the future for sure
There are actual people who are the members of the group, but they post the Virtual version of them. They aren't AI as that's just artificial intelligence. This is more CGI
The internet has really killed the actual meaning of words, such as "problematic" 🙄
These r real singers singing btw “AI” or technology can’t recreate a voice that releastic. And it’s 3D virtual idols not AI
This is K-pop
Maybe their songs are not your taste, In Korea Pandora gets a lot of Love, K/DA The group was created to promote the League World Championship and to sell in-game K/DA skins of the characters in League of Legends. K/DA not a official girl group but Mave is a girl group AI that officially debuted, of course they are different...Mave will not threaten other groups,They're just AI that don't need to be compared
I feel like people are reading way too much into this.. like?? its good and interesting, why can t we just enjoy it.
why the song slapped so hard thooo🫣
the song is good but the ai concept is so weird lol wake up people
How is this weird when singers like Hatsune Miku exist? Hatsune Miku literally sells out arenas and she is Al.
Been waiting for this one!
I NEEEEEED y'all to learn the difference between CGI and AI like pronto.
And even if they manage to resist the change, which i highly doubt, THIS is the future guys, and it will carry on with... or without you 👾
with pros and cons to this concept I think pros such they can hit difficult hard choreo and we won't have to worry about the health of these idols like we are constantly doing with the real ones and cons like is we will become desensitize to having that personal interaction with idols
the song is fire
There are actual singers for these characters, they’re also the ones doing the choreography and dancing, there’s a video of them practicing
I love love love Everything this group it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea but as for me I truly love this group
Y’all really went on a whole assumption rant 😅
It went from an AI made the lyrics to it’s not real people singing to… chile…
They're real, Their concept is Metaverse that's why ...Their original face is exactly like the AI
Yeah, but the singers do. Do you not realize that you have to train to sing? Do you not think they've gone through hardships?
I'm sorry but the cgi is waaayyy better then aespa and kdas cause its not cheap 🤷🏻
KDA isn't cheap. The first video kind of looks it because its older, but the last one "More" looks great. Also, it's different styles of animation.
Honestly all of them are really good and not cheap but each of their animation is different
IM SO EXCITED
This is what I feared AESPA was going to be like when they debuted.
Thankfully, I was proven wrong.
Musically it's okay, but it's really difficult to take seriously.
All this does is make me think that the girls actually singing this weren't nearly attractive enough to put in a music video.
BTW, did you see the Korean tourism bureau's "virtual mascot" they had in commercials a few months back?
It's a dead ringer for Red Velvet's Irene.
but also they don't have to worry about them getting sick and missing work or suing the company lol
@@tiffanykim2773 Or actually PAYING them aparrently.
They are real group real singers they like kda make song like AI. They really did amazing in song.
Their company isn’t rich like SM entertainment so it’s stupid to compare their mvs to a top3 Entertainment in K-pop
You keep using the word AI. This isn't made via artificial intelligrience, it's the exact same as KDA, an entire team of animators, creatives, so on making the cgi models of the characters. Work went into making this. It was actually made by the production studio flipevil whose done work for aespa and many other kpop videos as well.
their Bside is reaaaally good
I honestly didn’t think they looked expressionless … for K-pop this is typical performance and it’s the style.
Ig they didn't Like the idea of this
Y’all need to get out of that “AESPA is only good at this” these are real ppl behind these AI’s that might not be ready to show they faces and y’all comparing them and for what. In my opinion this song is fire and y’all need to stop being biased and stop watching all that anime 😂of course AI’s are stiff. So is Aespas but mave danced they asses off. Aespas barely do anything
This is like if KDA and Aespa had a love child. I cant get over how much one of the rappers sounds like Giselle
The fact that people will support them more than humans is really worrying and sad.
I guess ai is going to be a new popular concept in kpop
Hope not 😭
nah korea isn't really fond of this idea either so I doubt it
Listen if they end up winning awards and such then Imma have to head out lol nah no way jose.
Did y'all really say Aespa did it better? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dame was 100% spot on with everything he said.
the song is good
The song is great and I love the artists that sung this song, I have no hate against it lmfao. But the company posted the dance practice for this with actual dancers and I preferred that over the whole MV🧍🏽♀️ yes the graphics were dope but compared to KDA and AESPA this was weak. This song just sounds like its been done before but imo I really don’t mind it
So your hating have you seen their views song is good
Aespa and KDA backed by multibillion dollar companies, ofc it doesn't compare 🤣
Dame spitting factuals man 🗣️
Mave fans fighting for their life in these comments. If they don’t like the group then they don’t like it. Just move on. Sitting here writing whole dissertations!
Yeah but the way they are saying things just sounds like a whole bunch of hate to me
Please react to Limelight - Eye To Eye , the music sooounds goood
I agree. That trio is pretty amazing. And can they all sing? Oh yes, and beautifully.
Paradise is really good too, nice song.
hold up let him cook lol i agree 100 P
I don't really like kpop moving into this virtual thing kda i can accept but not this
It’s giving KDA big time.
Not loving their animation though but song is pretty good
I don't like , too
But if there are people who like it, that's fine.
The song sounds so much better without the mv.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see
please listen to monsta x sing bruno mars’s cover of versace on the floor!! it’s so good
✋😹 yeah okay
Damn Hatsune Miku & K/DA is still better but that’s funny even the virtual group be lacking in facial expressions 😂😂
I just realized damn that’s the 2nd time I’ve heard AI generated entertainment
The song is really dope... but I won't stan a graphic program...
It’s a good song but I completely agree with your perspective in not supporting them moving forward. It’s also kinda sad to me that they have current groups already dancing to the song as a challenge and acting like their in support because the songs good. 😢
Tbh, if they are really singing these song, it's creepy me off AF. 😅
