- The 2017 Haval H6 Lux reviewed by Amelia. The only engine choice for the Haval H6 is a turbocharged 2 litre petrol with 145 kW and 315 Nm of torque these figures are better than a lot of competitors like the Toyota Rav 4 and the Nissan Qashqai.
This Haval has 6-speed DCT gearbox with paddle-shifters but it’s impressive performance figures means fuel consumption is a little higher than some competitors at 9.8l/100km.

Took it for a test drive. I was pleasantly surprised. I drive a ssv and I was impressed with this engine. 5 yr warranty. not a bad family car.

how about an example of that throaty audio sound she verbally tells us. i want to hear that throaty sound rev it up a little so we can hear the audio of how it sounds.
What's with Australians and Canadians and their oddball pronunciation of letters? Not a bad looking vehicle. Doubtful we'll be seeing that brand in the States any time soon.
We’ve had our H2 Lux for over a year now and we love it! Can’t get over what we got for what we paid...wish I had the money to buy a H6 before prices start climbing again! Great looking car, as is the H2. Can’t say I’m crazy about the H9 looks...but it’s ok and also at a great price. A few weeks after we bought our H2 it was awarded a 5 Star ANCAP rating...which was good!
How do you pronounce "Haval" in general to be understood easily? 🤔

i love the interior and general look is good. i would switch off that HAVAL illumination on the ground though.
Please as a Chinese I ask the factory to add an auto 4WD option if they want to stay in Aussie market.
Haval need time to iron out the mechanical and electronic issues - Time will tell.
The side and the back look acceptable, but the front is definetly "cheap looking", *yet*, but I'm sure, they'll learn further. Never heard about this brand before.
Best selling SUV brand in China, and H6 is the best selling SUV model, averaging around 50K/month in 2016.

If I could say one thing, it's that the letter 'H' is pronounced "AITCH". It may seem counter intuitive, but there you are. Practise saying 'H' as 'AITCH' and your intellectual demographic will be elevated accordingly. Otherwise, I enjoy your work and that of all your colleagues at CarTellTV.

Test drove one recently, very impressed and Haval “Win and Spin” has dropped price to just under $30 000! Amazing value at that price. Paint finish, build quality and driving dynamics as good as anything else out there.
