Striker Eureka is my one & only favorite.
Loved this jaeger... But then again... I loved them all.
It seems odd that there was never an effort made to create mass-producable Jaegers with interchangeable parts; Creating all these one-offs no doubt dramatically increased the cost...
Agree it's fantasy it doesn't even seem like they tried to copy an already effective hunter.

The Kaijus adapt after every kill, so making all the Jaegers the same would make them ineffective.
Dragonlight Reaper, Gypsy Danger disproves that assertion, though. And even if that was true, it still wouldn't explain why they wouldn't want to go with interchangeable/modular parts, which could be swapped out as needed.
Germany made the same mistake with its tanks and as they pushed farther into Russia could not keep the supply lines active from a half dozen different factories to support a dozen different tank designs that shared nothing with each other.

Gypsy Danger was decommissioned after slaying Knifehead, and got considerable upgrades after it got recommissioned, so it doesn't disprove it.
I do agree with the modular parts, though.

It's design is the least utilitarian and the closest to the stylised, more fantastical mecha seen in anime and such. It looks more like Japan's Jaeger.

Would love to see how the war started. I know tons of fans would watch it. They have so many jaeger alone for several tv season. Problem was the black was the unanswered questions. So many jaegars were destroy. Herc went "missing" sadly.

Why would they create super brass knuckles instead of making the entire fists of the same material? Kinda silly considering the outrageously expensive cost mentioned.
The thing is that the brass knuckles might wear down If it was completely the material they used it would probably wear down so I think that's why

Common mistake
You know how in the movie Striker Eureka blows itself up, if it has escape pods why didnt prime the nuke then eject?

Benjamin L I know you already have the answer but even if the ejection system was still active, the nuke would have blown up the pilots IF they are not already killed by the kaiju

Brass knuckles works for humans because we have soft hands. In this case, having Titanium or Hardened steel knuckles would make more sense, brass is weaker than the rest of the machines structure.. little odd.
But brass is inexpensive and malleable and they can withstand heat because of those blades that's why
@@MOMOFCJ6 its too malleable at those sizes, we use brass as a tool to hammer on to knock out bolts, a few whacks and the brass is already heavily mushroomed out.
At those sizes you'll probably want a hardened steel, but not too hardened because you don't want it to be brittle, where it'll snap and crack. But too malleable and it'll tear from those impact forces.
Titanium may be too brittle for this, a hardened steel would probably be just right

One must wonder why they didn't mount those AKM's on the wall or even just in batteries around cities.
Kaiju would just adapt themselves for long range siege assaults attacking well out of range of defensive batteries
Striker was constructed to be fast but it looks to be I little bit of a weakness lets say he is running to a kaiju but he slips that's why he should be a little bit slower but still fast
lord beerus also kind of tall but small and weak but kind of strong. Also slap on heat vision that freezes Kaijus.
