Super helpful! I can’t wait to try these intros and put them in F,Bb, Eb, and Ab. For the 3rd intro, I like to make the sixth chord dominant(or make the 1 chord diminished).
Another great video Jeremy! About the I-vi-ii-V chord progression and “heart and soul”, I think it’s interesting to know that Bach preferred ii-V instead of IV-V, with the latter being more common in classical music. 😊
Great lesson and very useful topic. Love the pedal V approach. However, it says first chord is a Gsus 4. Looks more like a C6 to me…(G A C E) am I missing something?

Excellent! Happy introducing!

Best jazz piano tips on the web. Thanks again.
That’s so nice! Thanks so much, Lee!
Helpful and informative tutorial on a very overlooked part of jazz piano study. Clear and easy to understand. Great job and thanks!

Thank you for this!
I’m currently in a musical stump right now and i feel like this is encouraging me to push through it.
Yay - good luck! Be kind to yourself. 😊
I have far too many jazz piano books already. But I find no choice but to buy another!
I will gladly encourage your jazz book addiction. 😂
Hi, Jeremy. I am a big fan of you from Korea. By the way, would you keep the mic closer to you so viewers can hear you better?
Thanks! I’ll do my best - I already have it quite close but I’ll see if I can do better for you!
Never thought I’d hear you play heart and soul haha! Nice video as Always😜

You're totally right! Sometimes in a longer sus passage, we might alternate between a tonic chord and a sus chord with the fifth in the bass.
Thank you, MusicBrother. Learned more than a few things to use in my arranging for an extremely pernickety Jazz vocalist(ME😳😂).
Awesome!
Thanks !! 🙏
You’re welcome, AI!
Genius always 😂😂😂
