Great vid! Always fun to see people pedals board and such, I only am just starting my pedal journey lol. Also was that the torvus bog theme in the outro? 😯
The superfuzz will sound much better with no buffered or impedance changing pedals in front of it, i.e. it should be at the start of the chain unless youre putting true bypass pedsls before it The superfuzz circuit needs the hot signal from your guitar pickups to function correctly
Oh I see. I think another commenter tried to explain this but I explained I prefer to have fuzzes after the overdrive in case I want to stack them. I probably won't move it to the front for that reason alone but I will definitely keep that in mind when I do use it for recordings
I would but I prefer it to come after the overdrive so it can boost it if needed, the noise usually comes from me always having the gain dimed on that pedal though haha
This is awesome, I’ve been so curious about your board for a while lol Ik you’ve shown us your guitars here and there, but maybe the backstories of them would be cool too? (I wanna see all the stickers on the Pacifica lmao)
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I actually started to write a script for the Pacifica and why I still play it but a video on the others would be great as well!
I've had a Akai headrush for over 10 years not sure what its the issue with the volume thing, only thing I can think it could be is the toggle for the volume option, so other then that could be an internal thing. Anyway I've used it to make ambient and noise , I have a no input set in my channel using the headrush as a pedal signal looping thing with the extra outputs in case you wanna check it out Keep slaying xoxo 💅
Huh I never thought about that but it totally could be, it’s just so crackly and is more like a gradual dip than a quick cut but I’m going to open it up again and take a look, thanks for the advice!
There was a point where I was going to get the Hawaiian Pizza, but for some reason I heard like 3 demos in a row that did not sound good so I didn’t want it anymore haha. Hizumitas would be cool though! I think I wrote that I wanted that one in the script but I forgot to say it in the recording
I’ve wanted a phaser for a while, even thought about buying a kit to build one but idk just never really got around to getting one! As far as tremolo, my Vox AC15 has it built in which I use sometimes but not super often.
i love ur pedalboard! it would be cool to see a demo of ur recording setup too (mics, DAW, interface etc.) :)
That would definitely make for a great video!
i always loved just playing with the pedals and just making sounds that shouldn’t be heard…
Same!!
Now I have to buy a Wah Rocker. Thanks Miles
Lmao any time!
Love it man, big fan of the sound of your board!
Appreciate it homie! 😎👉
love the whammy, especially the whammy 4🙏
I certainly couldn't part with mine!!
Hell yea sick ass board

Thanks, and haha yeah it was! I based it off of the Super Metroid Red Brinstar version!

Dang I’ll have to watch this later
Have you tried placing your fuzz at the beginning of your chain? Might help with the noise
I would but I prefer it to come after the overdrive so it can boost it if needed, the noise usually comes from me always having the gain dimed on that pedal though haha

As for fuzz, try the hizumitas by EQD or the Shigeharu by Caroline.

Could you do this video type with your entire guitar collection soon?
Certainly!
Nice pedalboard Hideo Kojima!
Thanks 🥴
Try the J mascis big muff, best sounding muffin I’ve tried so far
Yeah that one seemed really cool from what I heard!!
7:06 have you noticed that the fuzz 1, especially when using the neck pickup, gives a nasty octave sound? Similar to a cranked wha
Yeah the octave is really cool, I’m not generally a big octave fuzz fan but I’ll certainly make an exception for this one!
Is that King Chris?
so that’s how a bike works… :o
Lmao
No tremolo? Phaser?

Brakes out mr moustache for no fucking reason
Gotta break out Nirvana for the DS-1!
what pedals under 90 dollars will get me to sound like the pillows!?!?
I'd say maybe like a used blues driver, Manabe-san the lead guitarist uses one! He also uses a russian Big Muff for certain loud sections
