Thanks for the video. I wish I had watched this video series before I did my exam last week. I had the exact questions. But at least I know what to do when next I re-book.
I have my l00l exam on Friday December 3d 2021 and I’m so nervous. Thank you for sharing these helpful videos because I heard a lot of people talking about it and you are the only one who posted the Simulations videos.
@@ellebn hello, unfortunately I failed 😞. They gave me 5 simulations questions and the other multiple choices questions hard to and they time was running so fast. I scored 571 and I didn’t answer 2 simulations questions because I ran out of time. The simulations questions of this guy are great two of them were on the exam. I’m planning to do my next try at the end of this month.
I'll be honest, I thought that the gaming PC would have the KVM and the Virtualization PC would have the dual monitors [even though I have a dual monitor setup for my current gaming PC right now, lol]. My logic was that, with the Virtualization PC, you would need more screen real estate for the potential multiple OS's that you would run at the same time(through VirtualBox e.g.), so they aren't all cluttered together on 1 screen. Where as with the gaming PC, maybe you would want the KVM to switch between it and a work PC if you are working from home, for example [this will probably be my setup once I pass the exams and get a remote help desk job(praying)]. Everything else made sense, that part kind of stumped me. Thanks for the videos!
I saw your comment on another video. I would say the Comptia test is EXTREMELY literal in their questions. While yes, the virtualization workstation MIGHT be using virtualbox, however, the question doesn’t state that. It’s basically asking what components would make most sense in this case scenario. Remember a virtual machine could be a type 1 hypervisor (running a virtual machine on a software over an operating system ex: virtualbox) or a type 2 hypervisor (an operating system thats able to utilize other machines or components to create a virtual environment ex: an OS like proxmox). It’s possible to have a virtual environment display on monitor 1, then have a second virtual environment display on monitor 2.
@@Noast Thank you for the reply. Yep, I've learned so far how they are finicky with the questions... have to really read the question and hone on the keywords (FIRST, BEST, MOST LIKELY, etc.) haha. Ah I see, that's what I gathered from the question. Just to be sure, wouldn't Virtualbox be a type 2 hypervisor? I use it, and I'm for sure not running it "bare metal", just on the OS. Also, from what I understand at the end there, you are saying that its possible to have 2 different virtual environments on both monitors. That's exactly the thought process that lead to my earlier conclusion of running 2 displays on the virtual workstation! Let me know if I'm confused somewhere lol.
The KVM will allow you to switch from the Virtualization workstation to the gaming PC, it's not a virtuall machine but a VM host so it's physical, thx for your comment
@@InformatikLab so this two computer have to share one monitor and a keyboard therefore need some way to switch between? ok, if so, how do i known that?

Good thing I found this video because this question makes nooo sense for sooo many reasons. I like how they also just skipped the cpu as well lol. would have been good to add in NICs 100mbps or 1gbps.
I think the dual monitors is not for gaming but virtualazation because you will be switching from op to op Gaming is just one screen can you check this please 🙏

I thought you have to name items on motherboard lol
Absolutely fantastic effort, Mate. Thank you!
Thanks for these videos. This was one of the simulations that came up for me on my 1001 exam last Friday 👍
SAME!

@@ellebn thank you much and merry Christmas to you as well. Good luck in your exam
Your content is always excellent!! Thank you sir!
I had this question but it was a gaming pc and a cheap workstation for web browsing/video conferencing.
hello, how did you answer the question?
So Amazed! Loved the performance based questions. truly helped me with my test
Thank you, Gergory. Awesome job man....
Great tutorial!!!!!
Amazing thank you so much, do you know you are the only video I found for the performance based question? 🙌
By the way I just passed Aplus core 1 today, I had the 5 questions you posted + an additional one. Thank you so much
Thank you
@@isos30 on a scale of 1-10 how hard was it and how many pbq do you think you came across all together?
I took the 1001 yesterday and had a pbq question about building a gaming pc
Thank you was easy to understand
Amazing work!!!
Thank you
Thanks you for this series!
Is there a way you can possibly make your videos a better resolution? I’m unable to see a lot of the images and “titles” of the objects
My videos are full HD, 1080, I’m not sure there’s a resolution issue, it might be with the picture that I placed for the simulations

If possible can you make a video explaining how to partition a drive in win 7 8 and 10 and how to do a recovery of win 7 8 and 10?
Sure, I can.do that, I'm still working on CompTIA exams, I'll switch to "How to" soon
failed my core1 my score was 620 do you think i have a chance to pass , i m confuse about PbQs thanks for this videos.

Yes

its for gaming
abt to take my exam tommorrow
can anyone here give me a link for free pbqs

dump?
Dual monitor is for editing video/audio not for gaming!
Wrong. Game takes up one monitor, how are you supposed to do anything else then? 2 monitor is ideal.
it has changed so this isn't current anymore
