So, naturally everything felt a lot more imposing to me. Same with the question - it felt more intense. I went through the professor messer courses he has and my biggest issue is since he tries to make everything bite sized, he doesn't break anything down to the degree you do. I like knowing how things work and why and during my course with him, there were times where I felt like he was just saying words that he then addressed in later videos. So I often had to google search of answers. Thank you very much for your clear and concise help!
This is the best educational resource I could find for CompTIA 1101 practice questions. The fact that you break everything down, explain the wrong answers AND show images really helps with retention. Great work.
@@akyblue to be honest quite a few of the pbqs i found on youtube the one with the printer, building 2 pcs one gaming and one home system, overclocking problem however the multiple choice questions were quite different a few were similar to online however if you keep revising online youtube questions about printers a lot and networking and troubleshooting you will be fine and just take your time with the questions i hope you pass good luck. I watched loads of youtube questions and exams like these vidoes, dean cyber i also researched pbqs very helpful also use exam topics they give you the first 250 questions free after that you have to pay but the layout of questions are similar to exam and pbqs are good on there similar to real exam ones

This is it. amazing video for me. Ik you can’t pack a lot of things in the questions but my only problem with this is not enough printer questions. Those questions snuck up on me and put me in a CHOKEHOLD in the PBQs. but if you understand the concepts like you said it should be fine. Did I mention PBQ printer troubleshoot and computer/network setup questions? Because PBQ printer troubleshoot and computer/network set up questions and for everyone wondering YES this will be on your test
Yeah they are very keen on asking printer related questions. If you look at the 2nd practice questions video for 1101 which has 60 practice questions, in there I covered a lot of printer related questions

did your test have a lot of questions that were similar to the ones on here? I failed my first test unfortunately with a 624,675 is passing so how did u fail with a 685? make sure you really understand everything about the different types of printers and how to troubleshoot them, one of my PBQ's had a picture of a printer and that stumped me because it expected you to know where certain parts were all located so keep that in mind in case you get it. I also had a PBQ asking what RAID array is best for a certain situation, and what kind of hard drives and speeds to use in that array. Also, make sure you understand cloud computing and what situations you would use IaaS, Paas, SaaS, Daas in a real-life scenario. I take my next test on Monday so hopefully I pass, there's so much to fully learn and understand, I've heard of a lot of people online studying and passing it quickly, but I feel like that comes down to a bit of luck because they have a pool of 1000 questions to choose from @@OriGummie
The anecdotes and conversational style is what I like about BurningIce more than other learning resources. It feels much more like the teachers I had in college, rather than an instructional video.

Gonna say among the A+ 220-1101 practice videos I've watched this is one of the better ones. Nice detailed explanations. Suggestions for improvement: More simulated/image-based questions like Q15 would be helpful. Reverse questions would be help such as "Which of the following random access memory modules (RAM) features 240 pins?" as opposed to putting DDR2 or DDR3 in the question itself. You dive into the answer a bit too quick in some cases.

Great teaching method but don’t get too pumped on this type test the wording will be waayyy more indirect on the actual A+ exam you will need to take ex. Jason Dion/professor messor practice test to really get your feet wet!!

Great videos. It’s nice how you go over the answers regardless of if they are the correct answer or not and explain them. I watched this at 1.5 times speed and even then it was too long, being more concise with the explanations could go along way to making the videos more watchable.

This vid rules! Quick question though: some of these questions seem pretty easy. Would you say the actual exams are harder, easier or about the same on average?
The actual exam is about roughly the same. Some important notes though. The questions from the 1102 exam are very different compared to the ones from 1101 exam. Not in the sense of difficulty but the kind of topics they cover. Also, the 50 questions I posted do cover the same objects and measure the same skills but 50 questions is not enough to fully test someone if they are ready for the exam so this "test" of mine should not be used as a test to check if you are ready for the exam. The test needs to be about 100-150 questions to more or less fully cover everything and test you on everything. The 50 questions in this "test" of mine is only give an indication if your on the right path :) The actual official exam has about rough 90-100 questions in it which gets taken randomly out of a pool of lets say 300-1000 possible questions and even that is not enough to test someone on everything. Some people write the exam and get 80-90% meanwhile they aren't very good, they just got lucky with the "type" of questions they got and the topics they were about. Other folks write the exam and sometimes fail it even though they know more than the people that actually passed. This is simply due to the type of questions they got and the topics they got. You can for example take the real exam right now and score 90% and then 5 minutes later when you take it again, you will get 60%. Someone's score in these exams is not a true reflection of if they actually know "everything" since they exam can't test you on everything. It only randomly tests you on some "categories" :)

This vid rules! Quick question though: some of these questions seem pretty easy. Would you say the actual exams are harder, easier or about the same on average?
The actual exam is about roughly the same.
Some important notes though. The questions from the 1102 exam are very different compared to the ones from 1101 exam. Not in the sense of difficulty but the kind of topics they cover.
Also, the 50 questions I posted do cover the same objects and measure the same skills but 50 questions is not enough to fully test someone if they are ready for the exam so this "test" of mine should not be used as a test to check if you are ready for the exam.
The test needs to be about 100-150 questions to more or less fully cover everything and test you on everything. The 50 questions in this "test" of mine is only give an indication if your on the right path :)
The actual official exam has about rough 90-100 questions in it which gets taken randomly out of a pool of lets say 300-1000 possible questions and even that is not enough to test someone on everything.
Some people write the exam and get 80-90% meanwhile they aren't very good, they just got lucky with the "type" of questions they got and the topics they were about. Other folks write the exam and sometimes fail it even though they know more than the people that actually passed. This is simply due to the type of questions they got and the topics they got.
You can for example take the real exam right now and score 90% and then 5 minutes later when you take it again, you will get 60%. Someone's score in these exams is not a true reflection of if they actually know "everything" since they exam can't test you on everything. It only randomly tests you on some "categories" :)
