      @@TayWill102 I apologize for the late reply- busy buzzes the bees.
      tl;dr: same but different.
      Naturally, the exam situation is a different level. And, it was my first exam in almost 8 years. So, naturally everything felt a lot more imposing to me. Same with the question - it felt more intense. But actually no - BurningIce, i believe, has a great grasp on the what quality and type of questions are coming.
      Natural advice though is always compare your resources.

    I went through the professor messer courses he has and my biggest issue is since he tries to make everything bite sized, he doesn't break anything down to the degree you do. I like knowing how things work and why and during my course with him, there were times where I felt like he was just saying words that he then addressed in later videos. So I often had to google search of answers. Thank you very much for your clear and concise help!

      did your test have a lot of questions that were similar to the ones on here? I failed my first test unfortunately with a 624,675 is passing so how did u fail with a 685? make sure you really understand everything about the different types of printers and how to troubleshoot them, one of my PBQ's had a picture of a printer and that stumped me because it expected you to know where certain parts were all located so keep that in mind in case you get it. I also had a PBQ asking what RAID array is best for a certain situation, and what kind of hard drives and speeds to use in that array. Also, make sure you understand cloud computing and what situations you would use IaaS, Paas, SaaS, Daas in a real-life scenario. I take my next test on Monday so hopefully I pass, there's so much to fully learn and understand, I've heard of a lot of people online studying and passing it quickly, but I feel like that comes down to a bit of luck because they have a pool of 1000 questions to choose from @@OriGummie

    Gonna say among the A+ 220-1101 practice videos I've watched this is one of the better ones. Nice detailed explanations. Suggestions for improvement: More simulated/image-based questions like Q15 would be helpful. Reverse questions would be help such as "Which of the following random access memory modules (RAM) features 240 pins?" as opposed to putting DDR2 or DDR3 in the question itself. You dive into the answer a bit too quick in some cases.

    Thanks for these. Are the questions here on of a similar difficulty with what we get in the exam? I scored 39/50 which I'm pretty happy with. I've only watched Messer's videos and your videos through once. I found your videos much more helpful. I need to brush up on a few areas.

    Great videos. It’s nice how you go over the answers regardless of if they are the correct answer or not and explain them. I watched this at 1.5 times speed and even then it was too long, being more concise with the explanations could go along way to making the videos more watchable.

    This vid rules! Quick question though: some of these questions seem pretty easy. Would you say the actual exams are harder, easier or about the same on average?

    • @BurningIceTech
      @BurningIceTech  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The actual exam is about roughly the same.
      Some important notes though. The questions from the 1102 exam are very different compared to the ones from 1101 exam. Not in the sense of difficulty but the kind of topics they cover.
      Also, the 50 questions I posted do cover the same objects and measure the same skills but 50 questions is not enough to fully test someone if they are ready for the exam so this "test" of mine should not be used as a test to check if you are ready for the exam.
      The test needs to be about 100-150 questions to more or less fully cover everything and test you on everything. The 50 questions in this "test" of mine is only give an indication if your on the right path :)
      The actual official exam has about rough 90-100 questions in it which gets taken randomly out of a pool of lets say 300-1000 possible questions and even that is not enough to test someone on everything.
      Some people write the exam and get 80-90% meanwhile they aren't very good, they just got lucky with the "type" of questions they got and the topics they were about. Other folks write the exam and sometimes fail it even though they know more than the people that actually passed. This is simply due to the type of questions they got and the topics they got.
      You can for example take the real exam right now and score 90% and then 5 minutes later when you take it again, you will get 60%. Someone's score in these exams is not a true reflection of if they actually know "everything" since they exam can't test you on everything. It only randomly tests you on some "categories" :)
