  • We take our NV200 camper car on a trip following to Devon and Cornwall following the coast road. At least that was the plan. In this episode we We pick up from where we left off in episode one, parked underneath the castle in Arundel West Sussex. In this episode we continue to drive west keeping to the coast road. We take a walk along West Wittering beach and watch the sun set over Langstone Harbour. Our plan to camp on the seafront in Portsmouth was not so good but we found a cosy spot to park up in the end.

You have settled into van life very nicely. I am impressed with the availability of places to stop for the night. Can’t wait for your next episode!

Ahoy Pirates! :D It is a great idea to help others with your knowledge, to share the information about places/prices, really comes in handy! Thank you! Ken, usually what are the reasons the drones are 'not allowed to fly'? Loved the beach shots anyway! :) The sun is always a huge plus to the mood, especially in winter-time and nowadays! So much fun you took this a year ago! :D Carol, I like your hat a lot, and the new boots are rockin' too! Badass driving again! :D Thanks for another great video! bear hugs, Kata

Hi Kata. Drones would not be allowed to fly near airfields, military and government institutions, prisons or if private landowners prohibit it. Also if it is raining or too windy it is not good to fly. Glad you are enjoying our travels, we have learnt a lot in the past year 👍😊

Could you do a short vid please about the phone apps you’ve tried and how they fared 😃

There are just 3 apps we use in relation to the campervan. Google maps is excellent for finding discreet park ups just by studying the satellite imagery. Park4Night is the most used app for wild camping spots, parkups, picnic spots etc and finally one that never seems to be mentioned Pocket Earth. That is an open source mapping app where you can download entire countries and it works OFFLINE and its surprising just how often you won’t have a signal when wild camping. Its also absolutely brilliant for finding public toilets.
