lol. He matured and different character personality so it mimicked real life where girls could bring home guys who look very much alike throughout the years but it be just that. 2 different people who looked a lot alike.
srayj not all black people look alike
_greater point_ are you fucking stupid? He means the actor in this episode also played Martin in later seasons. Literally everyone that watched this show knows that. Ironically, while you're accusing the OP of being racist, you're the one making it about race.
Ninja Tony yes....he’s stupid....
Lmfaooo I aspire to be Claire.
Tasha Monique when you finalize yourself to be like her i will be your ahmad rashad. I need a woman like that in my life! Id be so happy with just that and nothing else matters
Tasha Monique The Queen of Reading. Very classy and articulate and polite in reading you from A-Z. 👏
so you aspire to be a lawyer, or just to have a smart mouth with no money or degree to back it up?
John Mgtow Is Claire a smart mouth with no degree?
That is a beautiful goal....
I love how cliff just sat down. Shows how much he respected his wife. ♥️
clair huxtable is an unapologetic badassssss
No need to apologize when you are right! Lol I love clair
"Are your hands broken?"
I'm dead. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love and will continue to watch the Cosby show regardless!!!
Me too!!
Me too.
I will watch them like I watch a Hitler documentary. Entertained but Quite aware I’m watching two complete sociopaths.
Aayan Russell me too, and I frankly don't care what bad things he may have done. I'm not making excuses for them, but he did a lot of really great things for a lot of people as well.
Alex Franklin I didn't say anything even close to that. I'm not going to talk to someone that intentionally twists words to start shit though.
Ninja Tony
That’s exactly what you said. Just own the fact that you support a rapist.
WHEN her finger went to work......Lawd po Elvin!!
When her voice went up. "You mean HIM?? as in serve your man??" I was like UUUGGHHHH
For real KaShanda!!! And every word was pure gold! Put him in his place with so much class.
He needs prayer
These are precious to me. These episodes helped me be the person I am today. No matter what Mr. Cosby did in the future his legacy with this show in my mind is untainted. I thank the cast and writers for bringing us laughter and education during the run of this show.
One of the best scenes. I just love Claire!
Tyler Perry giving this man a lead role in his hit TV show is a blessing for Geoffrey Owens. Good for him x Tyler Perry is a hero.
Go Claire go! That's what marriage is..give and take. God bless. 🙏❤️🙏
The way Claire could read people tho!!! 😂 #Yaaassssmotha
What!? All she had to do is put that finger up, open her mouth, and the entire room would turn into a library!
I mean that is how they wrote the script.
Read him like a cheap book
I like how he implied that Claire was going to put something in Elvin's drink. The projection is strong.
Sadpants McGee LMFAO
A woman told me that it happens more often than we think...I mean, something in your food. Not necessarily poison. Just something nasty.
I was looking for this comment.
I'm surprised that you're the only one I could find...
Let's pretend that this isn't Cosby we're talking about, they're wife and husband so its very possible she has done this before and told him about it.
Omg
I knew that Elvin was in trouble the moment that Claire said let me tell you something Elvin
Anywhere, anyplace, any time, ever I love Claire. She was my hero.
This is one of my favorite episodes!
This show was so well made. I'm young enough that I still think of them as Dr. Huxtable and Mrs. Huxtable. Anyway, Claire Huxtable was so dynamite, and the way Bill throughout the show could see her reaction to something coming from a mile away and still being completely unable to stop it is incredible.
Totally! I love the episode where Claire is all "Cliff, who is that girl layin' on our couch" and Cliff is like " Awwww, my dear..she's just a young lady that drank the drink with the thing and got a little sleepy and I put my thing in up her thing and then I put it in her other thing while she slept and then she was a bit sleepy so I put my thing in her other thing...awwwwwwwww."
Some things feel more like home than actual home. This show brings me back home at the times when it was all good.
When I was growing up, both my parents worked full-time and my mother always made dinner(when home, my brother and I set and cleared the tables, loaded the dishwasher, etc.) but every Sunday morning after church, wth my mom, he helped planned meals. a grocery list, cut coupons, went food shopping, carried the bags in, and put everything away. By cooking dinner, Mom always said she got the easier end of the bargain. LOL.
I love to cook. I cook every day. My mom always tells me and I'll never forget, "Either learn how to cook or starve". I learned how to cook and love to cook so much, I was cooking while serving my country in the Navy.
I forgot how clueless Elvin was 😂
"And if you don't get it togetha and drop these macho attitudes, you ain't neva gon' have anybody bringin' you anything, anywhere, any place, anytime EVA!!!" #EPIC
"Maybe I could get YOU some coffee?" HAHAHA!
Cliff's face @ 3:37 had me dying LMAO!!!!
Akihito007 um? no? you’re a sexist pig?
The perfect punctuation for that scene (because NOTHING could make her speech more iconic than the speech itself) was Cliff responding
"Elvin.....When she brings the coffee back...if I were you I wouldn't drink it"
That is my favorite part, I watched it many times over & it’s still 😄
Cliff's face every time Claire go off. He just gets out of the way😂😂😂😂💙💙💙💙 Love Phylicia Rashad
"Elvin...if Mr. Cosby brings you something to drink...I wouldn't drink it."
Sound advice,
As certain persons learned The Hard Way😱.
Lol
mr cosby and mr huxtable are not the same person, mr huxtable is always a honest man, mr cosby sadly as it seems is not, as good of a person as he was in other aspects in some he was not
@@I_Wish_I_Was_Home Duly noted 🤔.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh that was a good one!
if a woman says "let me tell you something" its over. you're done.
Elvin?? When she brings the coffee. If I were you I wouldn't drink it.
Color Purple brewed coffee 😬
I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH HAPPINESS THIS GIVES ME... GO ON CLAIR!!!!!
Dawg claire sounded like busta rhymes on Why stop now at the end of the video 😂😂😂
“Lemme tell you something Elvin” ICONIC
I love what he said about not drinking the coffee when she brings it back.
Young Men and women need these lessons on a daily basis
Lessons delivered from a complete sociopath are still lessons.... I guess.
@@alexfranklin3502 Even a broken clock is right at least twice a day.
Elvin was an asshole until Claire changed him. Sandra didn't change him. Claire did. Lol. We all know that. She put him in his spot and told his sorry ass off. And he was scared of her. And she was intimating in a good way. She knew how to talk to people without being mean about it. The way she would look at you and smile after she bashes you. Haha I love her. She just did it perfect.
Of course. Sandra knew how he was and was still with him. She wasn’t going to say anything.
Sondra got that part after the twins were born. Don’t forget when she had the flu. She let Claire have it.
Elvin. Was not an asshole.
@@duncangreen4645 Yes he was a man's man lol
Maybe she should have changed Cosby. Don't drink the coffee LOL
Elvin tried to warn us 😂😂😂😂
The terrified way Elvin says ok to Claire
When she said serve whom? It was like the soft roll of thunder before the storm is about to hit you full force and you are terrified.
“Is your father shorter than your mother?” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Elvin?" "Yes sir?" "When she brings that coffee back, if I were you I wouldn't drink it!"
roflol (>L
I used to love it when Claire would get angry and start yelling in Spanish. She sounded just like my mum.
And when she brings back the coffee 😣😣if I were you...I wouldn’t drink it🤣🤣🤣
Despite what’s come out/happened to Bill Cosby I still find this show great. Every now and again there’s those moments that make you think “well that hasn’t aged well.” But overall still great.
I love how quickly she shifted when she went, "lemme tell ya something, Elvin".
When The Urban come up out of an Educated Black Woman.. That's when you know you done messed up..
"When she bring the Coffee, i would'nt drink it." That line is classic. 😆😆😆😆
"😊 ... Now... What would you like in your coffee? ☺"
😂😂😂
spit or a brown finger?
@@warpnin3 🤣🤣🤣
The way he says “there’s nothing to eat” takes me out everytime 😂😂😂
