I must admit I was put off by the UIs in Reaplugs and JS plugs but after a while using them, I now love them. I've even turned off GUIs on a few more shiny plugins so that they look like the stocks, as it's often easier to figure out what I need to change if I can see numbers rather than swirly CG panels of knobs. Though I can still be swayed by a snazzy looking plugin.
One of the reasons Reaper is so great on RAM usage is because of the deceptively plain look of their plugins. I agree that nice layouts and flashy graphics make some plug-ins more 'fun' to use.
I bought the bundle and like all the bundles i buy from pro mix the ultimate reaper guide didnt show up in my dashboard. I love pro mix and hope they figure it out. They always take care of it after an email but it would be nice if it just worked.
I've definitely messed with the code of some of the js plugins. Just adding a switch to invert or turn something off is a very nice way to customize a plugin
Adam should do a video about the new refurbished studio. His Reaper course is awesome, by the way. If you want to record and produce your own music it's an essential purchase.
Glenn & Adam... Hi. Have you tried any Audio Assault Plugins? they're a Mexican Co, and often have sales for their plugins which are quite budget friendly to begin with. I purchased a Black Friday Bundle Sale they had going where I got around 20 or so Plugins ranging from Guitar & Bass Amp Sims, to a couple of Drum Plugins, & various other EQ/Comp/Transient Shaping/Verb Plugins. I personally think their Emperor & Dominator Amp Sims are pretty comparable to the Ignite Amps' Emissary. Also, as far as Free IR's go, there are a few 1/2 decent packs available such as the 7 Deadly Sins IR Pack, Catharsis IR Suite, & God Cab - have you tried any of these out & if so, what are your thoughts or experiences using them? Thanks heaps guys!
Bought the "extreme" bundle with Adam's Ultimate Reaper Guide Course included. Should keep me occupied for a while. Both great looking courses, and looking forward to digging out some cool free plugins. Any reason Adam's course is only as a download not in the Dashboard for streaming?
@@styrofoamghost5099 Yeah I guessed as much. Just thought I'd ask in case it happens to anyone else. First time buyer and it's disconcerting to not have that second course in the dashboard. Waiting on a reply from support. I'll see what happens. I do like the courses though.
@@adamsteelproducer Possibly..but the workflow I've seen on EDM channels may tend to reduce experimentation. Arbitrary constraints are good sometimes but it rilles me. Control freak! 😀
Thanks for having me on the show, Adam!
Any time my dude 🤘
Always great to see you two collaborate!! Thanks for such a great video!!

Is this course still available? The link in the description doesn't work :/
Any chance you or Glenn could post a list of some of the plugins used? Obviously a for a full list we'd have to buy the course but maybe top 10?
Have a look on Glenn’s channel where we did a top list
@@adamsteelproducer oh very cool thank you!

11:33 Glenn Ficker... interesting 🤔. Isn't it Fricker?
Reaper is sick bro. Way better than cakewalk or garage band. Audacity sucks for mixing metal.

you have to email their support. theyll add it for streaming. their bundles always do this and you have to email.

@@styrofoamghost5099 Ah, so it's happened to you as well? On a sidenote I like Glenn's IR pack. Some good tones in there.
The reaper boyz are back
Woooooooooooooooooo
Good stuff
Mixing with free plugins? Alright. Recording a grand piano? How about the free spitfire audio vst?
Where is the 'Using Reaper to create EDM and Synthwave better than Live' course? 😀I know, I know, shut up Danny and keep twiddling the knobs in Spire.
Well neither of us is specialists there, and I’d bet that live probably is better for those...

Wait, EDM..... and experimentation? Gadzooks!
I think John from The Reaper Blog makes synthwave on it...
@@josepalomares3763 Thanks!
