A legend still doing it on a bike at his age . The movie RAD was such a big part of my childhood , I was a kid in the 80s amazed at what he was doing on a bike back then , and he’s still doing it along with all other kinds of stuntman projects , a true legend !
And in the 90s they had devil stick comps too bringing back some memories for sure wish I still had my harro that I painted the chameleon color and built it was sweet once finished
While Eddie was known mostly for his awesome ramp riding, he has managed to stay well-practiced riding flatland, to the point he is an excellent flatlander today. Cool stuff 👍
He did the Quick-Spin the same way I did it....I watched position of the spokes of the rear tuff-wheel and then put my foot between two spokes...I could have never done a Quick-Spin with wire-wheels as I learned it like that and it was my first (real) trick.
Eddie Fiola’s running Mag Wheels…now, for anyone who’s never run plastic mag wheels on a BMX bike before _(Spin mags_ & _Alloy Mags_ don’t count). Plastic Mag Wheels & Brakes don’t mix; friction from the brake pads rubbing against the surface of the plastic rim walls polish it _(so-to-speak)_ as it grows increasingly more smooth, friction which make the brakes work properly decreases & sooner or later; no real brakes… there are things which can be done, like roughing up the rim walls with sand paper, or using skateboard grip tape stick onto the rim walls, but you’d burn through brake pads *FAST* and you cans under any circumstances get them wet
