No 12 Cooker Running on Diesel

First time using my NO 12 Cooker on diesel fuel showing the full sequence after lighting the denatured alcohol in the flame cup to a nice roaring diesel fuelled flame. This is a fantastic piece of kit.

プリヒートの途中で燃料を出すと、DIESELが蒸発するのに青い炎になれなくて強い熱が生まれません。
ヘッドに水をかけた様に急速に冷えてしまいますからプリヒートを少し我慢して待った方が早く本燃焼できます。
もうひとつ、プリヒートカップで炎が立ち上がっていると、本燃焼が始まる温度になっていても酸素不足で赤い炎になってしまって、これもヘッドが冷えやすくなります。
プリヒートの炎が消えてから点火した方が短時間で使用開始できることが多いです。
最後に、バルブの根元からガスが漏れているので、蓋に付属のソケットで軽く絞めて中のグラファイトパッキンを圧縮してあげると調子良くなると思います。
Optimus111のパーツが使えますし、錆びないし、掃除も楽だし、料理も作りやすくてCookerNo12は地球上で一番素晴らしいバーナーだと思います。

I have Russian version of similar cooker. It's nickname when translate from Russian means something like a Tourist Death or Death of a Tourist, something like that. Cheers. Oh and works on ordinary gasoline for a car.

Is that the cooker thats meant to run on diesel or a petrol cooker coverted ?.

Hi Brian. This cooker is specifically designed to run on diesel and it is not a converted petrol cooker.
