We tried to visit Pleasant Ridge Chili, but we went on Memorial Day and it was closed. Google said they were open and their social media sites never showed that they were closed, so we traveled there and pulled into an empty parking lot. We'll have to try going there again one day. Their gravy fries look like they'd be amazing. Thank y'all for watching.
It was great. We discussed that Gold Star is our favorite all around, but Camp Washington Chili would be the perfect Cincy Chili in the wintertime. CWC runs laps around Skyline all day. Y'all would really love it.
That place looked amazing!!!all that cheese and goodness…yum!!!! And the boys enjoyed it and jen enjoyed it…you enjoyed it so must be good!!!!!Great review by you and the family❤
Those coney dogs look awesome! We love Cincinnati style chili. Skyline is our favorite but we need to try this place. Cincinnati has such a beautiful skyline! Another great video!
Camp Washington and Blue Ash have always been my favorite chili parlors in Cincy, so glad to see you here! Grace is definitely NOT a fan of the cinnamonny chili, but I love it!
We definitely have Blue Ash on our list but it was closed when we were there on this trip. We're with you, we absolutely love it but it's definitely an acquired taste for sure. We hope that you guys are having and awesome weekend.
Very good video and Brett, you have met some pretty impressive people! I can't believe you polished off all of that 😊. Great video and I thank you all so much for letting us tag along 😊.
Henry was the only one who could polish off all of his food, but he had the kids portion. He didn't even want to discuss his food, he was enjoying it so much lol. We appreciate you, Karla.
Nice story Brent. So as a boy I was the ball boy of the UC Bearcats men’s basketball team. They played in the riverfront coliseum and were horrible. Tony Yates era in Metro Conference. Went to Miami U for college but always loved the Bearcats especially the Huggin’s era. My son is now 35 but have fond memories of going to many games with especially during the Kenyan Martian year. My brother is one of the world’s largest Pete Rose memorabilia collectors whose mission is to categorize everything Pete Rose.
That is so cool that you were a ball boy for the Bearcats and that you & your son got to watch Kenyan Martin play. I had no idea that they used to play in Riverfront Coliseum. Pete Rose is definitely a baseball legend and that's really awesome that your brother is a memorabilia collector.
Thank you, Chris! We always have a great time in Cincinnati and Camp Washington chili didn't disappoint. We hope that you're having an awesome weekend.
We were very impressed with Camp Washington. What's your favorite sandwich to order there? We hope to return again one day since it's so close to the interstate, it's a great spot for a quick bite to eat. We hope that you had a great weekend, Lillie.
Thank you, Vit. We really appreciate that. Teaching them manners and respect is always ongoing, but we work hard to ensure that they'll grow up to work hard, to help others, and display respect to everyone. We hope that you had an excellent weekend.
We can't thank you enough for the recommendation. We will definitely be back. We've discussed that Camp Washington is our new go-to for the wintertime since it has a mild spice and Gold Star will be our stop in the warmer months lol. Thank you again for the recommendation, Bobbie. We all loved it. Have a great weekend.
I grew up on Texas style chili, but when we moved to Columbus Ohio I was introduced to Skyline chili. It was a bit weird tasting at first and grew to love it. After 23 years we moved to Chicago and it's one of the foods I missed. I was happy when I found it in the frozen meals section of the grocery store. Now I'm in Newport Tn I was delighted to find it in cans and frozen. I never had Gold Star, but based on your comments om sure I would love it. I like spicy, so Camp Washington I definitely want to try! Looks do good! That baklava cheesecake is mouthwatering too! Thanks for the great review!
We're so glad to hear that you're also a fan of Cincinnati chili, Dennis. We also enjoy Skyline, but Gold Star just seems to have more prominent flavor profiles, but we feel like Cincinnati chili is like Coca-Cola or Pepsi - some people enjoy them both, while others have a clear cut preference. If you end up trying Gold Star sometime, we'd love to hear your thoughts. We really appreciate you and thank you for watching.
We used to stop for chili whenever we traveled to TN, which was a few times a year. It was a treat because it was so different. Now we make it ourselves when the browns play Cincinnati. Of course, we drink beer instead of sweet tea ! 😉
That sounds like a really awesome tradition and meal for when the Browns and Bengals play each other. At Camp Washington, they served beer with the chili there too. Thanks for watching, Rita. We hope that you had a great weekend.
my friend this is a great review ,i live dayton, ohio,i love cincinnati ,ohio , that restaurant looks great ,i also am a reds and bengals fan and a coach huggins fan ,i am older than you and i was spoiled with the big red machine and ken anderson of the bengals even terry bradshaw of steelers said that toughest team he ever played against was the bengals and kenny anderson ,thank you for everything you do
Unfortunately, I missed the Ken Anderson days, but definitely know who he is. I could be wrong, but I think that he still has the record for the most passing yards of any Bengal....or at least held onto that record for a long time. You definitely got to watch a great era for the Bengals. I used to attend the Bengals' training camps every summer when their training camps were at Wilmington College. I miss those days. We're so glad that you're also a Red and Bengals fan. Thank you for watching, Frank and we hope that you had a great weekend.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV thank you my friend ,like i mentioned ,i was spoiled seeing the best team in baseball ,the big red machine and the wire to wire 1990 reds team
Oh my. In my business years I traveled to Cincy many times and had settled on Gold Star as my favorite. I wish I had known at Mt. Washington. And that Baklava Cheesecake is a killer. Thanks for taking us along
We are with you - Gold Star is still our #1. We tried 4 different chili restaurants on our past trip and Gold Star was unmatched, but Camp Washington was a close second. We hope that you had a great weekend, Bill. Thanks for watching.
Thank you, Angela! Henry was the only one to win the clean plate challenge. He is normally eager to introduce what he ordered and talk about it, but he just wanted to eat his chili spaghetti here. lol. Thanks for watching.
She sure does lol. She wanted to definitely give Camp Washington some credit. She tried a few other places in the area that didn't get the sweet tea alert. Camp Washington sure did serve up some great chili. We hope that you had a nice weekend, Casey.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV I never had sweet tea. Not a tea person except for specific kinds in bottles. I had a great weekend & hope you did to 🙂 Can't wait to see what you post next

Thank you, Carla! We are big fans of Cincinnati chili. Have you ever tried it before? The boys both said, thank you Carla! We hope that you had a wonderful weekend. We love you too. God bless.
I don't think there are any chili parlors in Ottawa, Canada, but one look at the Chili 5 dish that Jennifer had ordered was enough for me- I'm sold on it, especially the cheese! And the baklava cheese cake looked more than delicious. You two go to very interesting places, but even better than that, you take Gentry and Henry with you and engage them, as well, to give comments and feedback. Thank for interesting and entertaining videos.
We agree. The cinnamon taste is not as strong, but it seemed slightly more spicy than Skyline and Gold Star. We will have to check out Chili Time. We've added it to our list. Thanks for watching, Tim.
