About Hero of Curator: there is Ashling, the Extinguisher in the game with similiar effect. Whenever she deals combat damage to a player, that player sacrifices a creature but you choose which one they sacrifice. Which is like a removal that bypases indestructible.

And also opp has no say in whether ti sac or not; that is purely player's choice. Opp can only choose a sacrifice.

@@21forevergone I might be wrong on this, but my understanding is that once a spell procs, it procs entirely before moving on the the next in stack. I believe this means it would trigger the ETB, which would go to the stack, but also enchant and gain control of the creature before resolving the ETB. Tried looking at rules, but didn't help me much.

@@jothki no, they can, it's just that each one of them deals their own commander damage, so if you can get it to survive, you can kill someone with token commander damage
I'm pretty "you may sacrifice another creature of an opponent's choice" means:
- you choose an opponent
- that opponent chooses another creature you control
- you may sacrifice it.
The opponent can't just abstain from choosing anything. They must choose a valid target if there is one.
100% the may is on your part, not on the opponent's.
We may not let our opponent choose a creature, but once we opted in, THEN opponent gets to pick. No takesie backsies after they choose.

- That opponent chooses another creature you control.

Maybe the "can't have back" refers to "Baby's got back" by Sir Mix-A-Lot. The art even looks like him.

As is doesn't state it has to be another creature you get a Construct copy if the Dragon which then enters again with a +1/+1 counter, lives, and then can sacrifice itself again for the mana triggering himself again to get infinite Mana and ETBs.
When a card has power and toughness printed on it, but an ability gives it a different power and toughness, the ability overrides the printed values. However, they can still be useful as it means you don't become a 0/0 and die if your ability is lost or negated.

I'd say other way round. It basically says "when this ETBs, you may [pay cost]. If you do...". The cost here is sacrificing another creature of an opponent's choice. At the point your opponent is choosing a creature, you've already committed to paying the cost.

In the beggining of your upkeep,if this creature would deal damage to a player who also dealt damage to me in the same turn(maybe with some instants)-In that case you can pay 2 mana,colorless and black,.
If you payed this 2 mana only in that case you could bring this back from the graveyard otherwise it would just stay there,and you could only use the If kt had no +1/+1 counter it to create a 2/2 if you brought this back from the graveyard,otherwise this ability won't work.
So of you beought it back from the graveyard would have all abilities,otherwise the no +1/+1 counters on it don't work,if it was first casted from hand.
Worth noting for "Power Your Encome":
The Perpetual +1/+1 is not an ETB, it's state-based, so as long as this card exists as a permanent, it should make cards in your hand infinitely large, since it constantly grants them a perpetual +1/+1, which means that +1/+1 sticks around every time it is applied.

Wouldn't the Jace card be good in Hardened Scales competitive decks? 3 proliferates that's 6 +1/+1 counters per creature with hardened scales.
Fun fact about card contradictions: Can't beats can. Leyline of the Void says put a card into exile instead of the graveyard. If a card was out that said cards cannot be put into exile, it would prevent Leyline of the Void from working.
Btw Disney no longer holds copyrighting on OG mickey mouse since in entertainment industry copyrighting a character works only for some time (80 years i think). It was hot news at the beginning of the year. So no more lawyers unless its proven that it was copy of the newer Mickey mouse. So refernces and straight up copies of the OG mickey is fair game now.

I think that second card is saying that an opponent chooses a creature you control, and then you may sac the chosen creature for the 4 +1+1 counters

The cards with power and toughness that have abilities that set their power and toughness are actually just anti dress down tech. If they lose their abilities, they can still do damage.

The "opponent choses creature" and you may sacrifice creature is pretty strong if you control no creatures. Your opponent has to chose a creature, in this case one of their own

The templating could be cleaned up to make it clearer, but Nikachu was right that the sacrifice action by definition means putting a relevant permanent you control into your graveyard. No card involving a sacrifice payment says "sacrifice a creature you control" because it's impossible to sacrifice a creature you don't control.
There's the question of whether opponents can choose a creature you don't control, preventing you from being able to use the ability at all. I think that is how the card works as written?

"Black Outcast" would only work with creatures with Flash. It doesn't say you can cast the creatures "as though they had flash". Their casting speed hasn't changed.
Pretty sure cards that say exile a card and you can cast it ignore the timing restrictions. See allure of the unknown.

If you generated these using an LLM like ChatGPT for the text part then used an image generator just for the art, these would make a lot more sense. Generating text with image generating neural networks often results in nonsense and misspelled words
Black outcast at 19:18 is worthless, you cant cast the creature during the upkeep even if you had a flash creatures ability on board, and then the player would draw the card revealed since it wasn't banished or anything.
The only thing is that it doesnt have an end to the "you may cast this for free" effect unless you count the fact that the card is no longer "revealed card" once in the hand. So maybe you could cast if from opponents hand, or play it on yourself, but i interpret it as once the card isnt the "revealed card" the free cast effect ends, as this is how the banish cast effects work.

The opponent chooses a creature, then you choose whether or not to sacrifice it. A choice cannot be made unless all variables in the choice are defined beforehand. It's the same when a card gives you the choice to sacrifice target creature or pay x mana, target and x are always defined beforehand. Otherwise, it would be nonsensical.

Hero, Angel of Shortcoming is pretty powerful if you think about modern murktide, maybe a not many of but 1-2 of as he's generally something for 4 mana that is helpful.

It's a broken card because it does too much and a swiss army knife.
I would say being able to make Ragavan's into a 4/2 and Rage's in 5/4's (with flying) can result with your 1 costs winning you the game.

K'rrik is NOT better than Halo Elemental, not even close.
First of all, K'rrik requires a ton of Life to summon, limiting the Life you can use for mana.
Second and most importantly, K'rrik can only pay for Black mana symbols ONLY, it cannot pay for generic mana, which makes a WORLD of difference. And it's not even a better rate, still 2 Life for 1 mana.
