there were 3 mini series on Sci Fi channel i watched all of them like every 3 years or so i have them on dvd and blu ray and im still lost you need to be a book reader to get whats going on its like watching House of the Dragon after watching Game of Thrones
You are doing just fine following the plot and characters without the source material. Certain questions you have will be answered next episode, and last Sunday's episode was the best yet. I've been super intrigued by Tula since day one (Valya's sister.) Jen is the other one I'm curious about (she's the wild card who told the story about being sold to a child pimp.) That girl has a history and not the one she told. She's gonna be a problem for the Sisterhood and I'm here for it. I'm definitely NOT Team Valya.
a shame what happened to halo but good to see the actors from there getting more roles. they shouldn't have replaced the cortana actress. hope the master chief actor can get on a dc or marvel project.

I would rather someone pick up halo and continue from where they left off. I swear season 2 was just such an improvement.
