The pastor at our church is a married former Anglican priest who became Catholic and our parochial vicar is a married former Lutheran minister who became Catholic. I converted from Judaism to Catholicism 48 years ago, and my wife of 42 years converted from Hinduism to Catholicism. Welcome home and thank you for your story.
A professor of religion at the Catholic university my wife & I went to back in the 1970s (just before we were married) was one of the first married Anglican priests who was going through the process towards Catholic ordination as a priest. He was a Catholic Deacon when we met him.
Born in '66, Catholic from the cradle, walked out of the church in '80. Walked into music, joined bands, fell into addiction, promiscuity and depravity. Left the music industry in 2003, moved to regional (coastal) Australia. Met my non Catholic wife, got married, started sobering up. In 2019, gave up pot, went back to church and the sacraments. They all welcomed me home. Going to alcoholics anonymous, sober for a month now. God called me back to the faith. I prayed for sobriety for a long time and he gave me the grace to do it a month ago. I feel like I've really come home. This video has inspired me to keep growing in my faith. Thankyou Keith & Erica. Faith is a never ending journey for me now. My wife is a c radle anglican who doesn't really believe in God. I pray that one day she'll see Gods power and come with me on this beautiful journey.
I married my husband who was a lapsed Catholic, and I thought the same thing, “I’ll never convert”. 2 years later, while pregnant with our first baby I converted to Catholicism. Many of his friends thought he had something to do with it but it was actually our blessed mother who was leading me to Christ’s true church. ❤️
Oh yeah … my “first conversion” to Catholicism was when our first child was on the way. Not much theology involved, but I knew for sure I would not subject my child to the confusion of a divided house under ONE God. More and progressively deeper conversions were to come, praise God. Seven grown children, all devout practicing Catholics, 30 years later, and I am loving and praising God for this young lady’s conversion (and mine 😊)
@@AbrahamRodriguez-gi1wk Top three: 1) My wife is a saint. Catechesis started in toddler-hood, homeschooled K-12 2) Faithful Mass attendance in reverent liturgical settings (have to seek them out) and confession. Kids learn more from seeing mom and dad living it than being told about it, especially if by an RE teacher once a week in a classroom 3) Sincerely try to live as we profess to believe.
I’m 72 years old, I was born and raised as Catholic and will die as Catholic. Very enlightening and joy in my heart is full. Thank you so much sharing.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I write from Spain, here people IS Catholic culturally, but has mostly abandoned faith,. I am looking for this faith but I am almost alone in this path, and your channel Keith It is really helping me out. This interview was very touching but I LOVE your weekly episodes for mass. God bless you Keith and Erika and your families and communities. GOD BLESS US ALL with the faith we need. Praise for Spain, we need to go back to faith, and I really think we will
Praying for the conversion of the people in Spain and throughout the world. Pray the rosary and ask for the intercession of all saints through our lord Jesus Christ who is the messiah, born of the father of all ages, true god and true man and Holy Spirit, to god be the glory, dominus vobiscum +++
¡Ánimo hermano! Un día España se acordará de Nuestro Señor y, como le dijo El Señor a Bernardo de Hoyos, el Sagrado Corazón reinará en España, con más veneración que en otras partes. Que Dios te bendiga.
We lost our son in a hunting accident. The Sorrowful Mother comforts and guides us through those horrific times because she walked that walk and continues to walk with us. We need mothers and mothers to lead us to her son. She is truly essential to our faith and I feel bad for the other religions that don't call upon her as mother. We are so blessed to be Catholic.
Luke 1: 46-49 My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
Whoever believes in Jesus has Mary as their mother. “Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring-those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.” Rev 12:17
I’m so sorry ~ we lost our daughter to a blood clot in her brain/stroke/coma. I remember kneeling before the Crucifix at Church after Lauren passed away. I felt Mama Mary so very close to me in that moment. She had watched her Son die. She gave me such comfort and still does almost 5 years later. Our children are truly Home and I imagine they kneel in Heaven with our Blessed Mother and pray for you, me and our families to remain strong and faithful until it’s our turn to rejoin them. My prayers are with you from one Mom to another. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
WOW! This is so encouraging to me. I am the only Catholic in my family (both sides plus my married family...on both sides). A little over a year ago, after years of Protestantism of the anti-Catholic variety, I converted to the Catholic faith. My husband did not. While he was Protestant when we were married, he left the faith outright about three years into the marriage. His conversion is my hearts biggest desire -- St. Monica is my Confirmation Saint. This gives me hope that one day he will. 💗
Oh sister in Christ, I have the same story! Catholic convert 2023, only one in my family, wife and mom and my confirmation saint is saint Monica! 🙏 My husband is a practicing Christian but not Catholic. I ask saint Monica every day to pray for my children, that they would be baptize and have faith. I ask saint Joseph to intercede for my husband. Let's keep praying until we get an answer!!❤ have courage!
Strongly suggest a written formal Novena to the Mother of Sorrows title for Mother Mary! Look it up via Google and put in the search Mary's secretary - it's a website. The version on the Servite website provides good meditations. In the Novena ask her to reveal her son to your spouse. Another great option is to look into the Green Scapular!
I learned more about my Catholic faith as a cradle Catholic from my convert husband Jimmy. He loves our faith and has taught me more in the last 15 years about Catholicism than I learned in the previous 40 years. -“Let mass be the reason you miss everything else!” -Hope Willis
As a single cradle Catholic woman of retirement age, I often feel sad that I'm on this journey without a partner. But I'm so happy for all the couples in these comments that share our Catholic faith with each other. I had a son out of wedlock when I was 40, and raised him in the church and like many 18-year-olds do, he got a job and then found reasons to not go to church with me. When my son stopped going to church with me I found it very difficult to go to church by myself, and then during Covid when we weren't allowed in the churches that habit of not going to church set in and when the doors reopened I was once again struggling to go by myself. Well now it's nine years later and between The chosen series and a book I gave him last Easter by Trent Horn, he is back to reading the Bible and back in church, working his way towards the sacrament of reconciliation (please help me pray for that!). So I'm extremely happy about that, but he's my son not a partner. One negative thing I can say about the Catholic Church is that they really don't look out very strongly for their single congregation. Sorry this became so long! Peace of Christ to you all!!
I don't feel happy hearing about couples, but my feelings don't matter, my will matters. I will the happiness and unity of these couples, and ourselves. I hope we find someone who's a strong Catholic man.
I am in a way same as you and another way different. I'm married to a non-Catholic husband. We're both first and only spouse to each other and we don't have child between us or outside either. I too go alone to the mass and if I let my guard down, I feel a loneliness and sadness when I see other (esp. elder) couples. I was raised by a very devout catholic mother. My father was just an 'ID catholic' when he married my mother - where I came from everyone must state their religion on their ID. So mother raised and 'herded' 7 children to the mass all by herself until one by one we reach age 17 and could drive ourselves to church (or not). She arranged our preparation for first communion and then confirmation. She did all she could afford to send us to a Catholic school through HS (my younger siblings had to go to non-Catholic but Christian elementary school because by then money was tight). I left the Church too like your son when I was 16. I think it's my mother's diligence and faith (although she passed away long before I returned) that sent the Holy Spirit to convert my heart. Let us not be discouraged to keep praying for other's conversion of hearts too.
Dear Jemsmom97, My Catholic Church does not have special ministries for single people. But, my comment would be to try to get involved in some of your Church’s activities. I am involved with several activities: I am a lector and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. I organized a fundraiser for a pregnancy center for October, which was Respect Life Month. I am now organizing Christmas caroling. I play a bell in the handbell choir and sew altar linens. I am not trying to brag, but to list activities that are there to do. The Church needs my help, and I am helping people, which feels wonderful. I have met wonderful people. If you looked for something that you would like to do, hopefully you would find something.
I’m single too. I’m a convert from a Prot family, so I’ve always gone to mass alone. Even when I’m visiting family out of town or for the holidays, they all go off to church together, and I go to a local mass. I don’t mind it too much because I’ve spent my whole adulthood single, so I’m used to going places alone, and i wouldn’t trade mass for the comforts of family, as nice as that is. I really only notice I’m alone during the “peace” when all the couples kiss and wish their loved ones peace while we singles stand there until they’re done. I kind of wish people would give peace to those around them first, then to their families. We singles can sometimes feel forgotten about. I call the single lay state the “invisible vocation.” Often, when Catholics talk about vocations, they only mention marriage, priesthood, and consecrated life. Not every layperson gets married. The single lay state is a beautiful vocation too, but, like all the others it has its joys and sorrows, its gifts and hardships.
@@sandraelder1101 Hi 😊 I admire your perseverance. I'm sorry your parish doesn't mention about single lay people. At my parish as well as at most livestreamed Masses, the prayer intentions mention about single laypersons. I will keep you and all the single laypersons in my prayers. God bless you 😊❤💒💕💕
I love all the converts . They bring with them a wealth of knowledge & love for the Scriptures -which most cradle Catholics are just starting to appreciate. Thank you Bro. Keith for bringing us these inspiring testimonies. Welcome home Erica!
Today is my birthday and this is such a gift for me as a hardcore Protestant coming into Catholicism I felt everything that she was saying and my husband converted before I did, knowing his patience with me and his love and his trust in God that he would show me the way this is just total confirmation for me thank you so much, thank you God for using these people to help me❤
I am just now coming into Catholicism from Pentecostalism. There was always something missing and I found the fullness of God in the Catholic church. My wife is still very much Pentecostal and I pray everyday that she will one day join me in the Catholic church. Please pray for my wife and me.
I am a convert from 7 years ago. My message to new converts is to understand that there will come a day when you start experiencing dryness, when you're not feeling it. Know that God is closer than ever before, and you are maturing in your faith during those times. Call out to Him! He hears you. Conversion in the starting line, not the finish line. To the cradle Catholics, you have been such a blessing to me...I look to you as the example of what a Catholic journey looks like. Live your faith like someone's watching. Be bold in your ministry!
We were always told that my dad was a convert. He didn't come into the church till his late 30s, but really, he was not taught religion as a child. His uncle, who was a convert, and Catholic raised aunt, by marriage, would take him and his younger brother to Catholic church on occasion as children. As an adult he was in the Air Force and traveled frequently. When he did have the opportunity to attend services he would go to the Catholic mass. Both him and his brother committed to the Catholic faith when the opportunity came along. He volunteered at church and raised us in the faith. I am eternally grateful to my mom and dad for giving us a firm foundation.
I was firmly convinced i would never go confess my sins to a priest. I went to confession within a year. God worked that fast one me. I am still shocked it happened.
I was born Catholic, and I wish I had the same burning desire to seek God as both of you do. You are shining examples, just as you described the priest, the “salt of the earth”. Thank you for sharing your beautiful journey.
You are blessed 🙌 😇 🙏 beautiful lady ❤️ I'm born catholic but I always took my faith granted but listening all the conversion story I feel very very sorry for my thinking about my faith but now I'm very strongly following my faith with all my heart and soul . Lord humble me with all the people like you 🙏 I love you Lord Jesus Christ I trust in you ❤
A cradle catholic, I pray for my husband of 30 years to one day convert. He comes to mass. Thanks for your story Erica I cried. I pray for my full family being catholic one day. ❤ 🙏🙏🙏
I wish every christian eats and drinks the true body and blood of Christ. My life is sweetened for Jesus is with me and I with him. I am happy Erica is receiving the blood and body of Christ after so many years. Welcome Home Erica! May God bless and fully heal your son and the whole family. Your brother in Christ from Eritrea, East Africa!
If you don't even know that they no longer call the class "RCIA", then your wife should be suspicious at the get-go that you're making the wrong move by being there.
She’s absolutely right that being on fire as a Catholic is not just a convert’s experience. It’s really open to all Catholics who realize the treasure we have and value the need for others to have the same
I thought I’d listen to this interview in the middle of the night so it would help me “fall asleep”. It’s now 3:25 am after listening to the whole thing! We all need an Aunt Lucille in our lives, a true prayer warrior. And we need Mary to draw us closer to God, as Erica and Keith tell us. When I heard Erica mention visiting the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, it made me so happy because I grew up having her always present in my life. “Am I not here, I, who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms?” God bless you and your families! Viva Cristo Rey!
In my case as a protestant now in rcia i look back and see a superiority i felt as a protestant over catholics when the subject came up and i saw it and still see it alot with other protestants i felt hollow till i started this journey now i honestly feel complete
LOL - convert from Evangelical protestantism, and I agree re the superiority. After all we were protestants and we had ALL the truth and we knew EVERYTHING. Right?
Thank you for your story Erica and thank you Keith for bringing it to your show. I am a re-vert to the Catholic Church but really more of a convert if I'm honest with myself. I remember falling asleep at my nephew's Confirmation when the choir started singing Veni Sancte Spiritu. I woke up like someone shocked me out of a sound sleep. I waited for the lead singer to come out of the church to ask her what song it was. When she told me it meant Come Holy Spirit I flipped my lid. That was 20 years ago and by the Grace of God He's made me into a better Christian and Catholic.
HOMELESS- We are all homeless without a Father or home spiritually.... UNTIL WE COME HOME TO THE CATHOLIC APOSTOLIC CHURCH. GOD bless both of you. And everyone else. 🔑⛪️🍞📖🕊🔥📖
Will pray for you brother! During my time in the service I talked to alot of lds missionaries and even dated a lds girl. I almost got wrapped up into thier religion during a very dark time in my life. I started to learn about thier more "esoteric" theology and found out how truly far away from the Christian faith it truly is. Stick to your guns lead by example for your wife and pray and invoke the Holy Spirit constantly! I will pray for your wife as well. I am also going through OCIA as well with my wife. when I realized that I needed to be Catholic after tons of prayer and asking the spirit for guidance it was extremely hard to convince my wife that's what we needed to do. She pushed back alot with any excuse for why catholics are wrong, that made me go out and learn the faith and still learning to this day! Her heart is now on fire as well for the lord Jesus and she is devoted to her favorite Saint. Prayers for you, Brother. God be with you.
Great podcast my wife and I are currently in this predicament. We both were raised Catholic. We both were pastors in a Methodist Church. I came to the realization that Catholicism is true and now going to the process of OCIA . We have definitely been on a ride, lol but she has been very gracious.
I can relate to several parts of her conversion story. Jesus in the Eucharist was the biggest pull. I was received into the Church in 2022 as well. Once I knew that, it was over for me. I needed Jesus. It’s ironic how we are now completely in love with Mary. But as Protestants, we were so afraid of loving her. I love what you said about conversion is for everyone. I pray every night for a constant conversion for my husband and I and my family. I never want to lose what I have and I never want to stop growing in my faith and in virtue. Thanks for sharing your testimony. Loved it!
God bless you Erica, for sharing the story of your beautiful conversion into the Catholic faith and Keith, for airing this interview. I am a cradle Catholic who took my faith for granted and was poorly catechized. But! I came from a very Catholic family who planted the seeds of our faith and role modeled reverence to Mary, the saints and of course, Jesus. Along with volunteering to teach PREP and instruct RCIA, I have learned so much more. My Catholic faith is such a treasure and I am proud and lucky to be a part of it.
My wife is Baptist she goes to mass with me every weekend. She also read a Catholic bible with me and Catholic prayers and baptized our two children in the Catholic Church. But she is strong willed and still has not came into the faith or has ever given an indication. So this was a great video to hear and still have hope!
Strong willed? Not come into faith? She has faith in God. If she doesn’t have faith in God, who do you think she has faith in? Does she not love the same God?
I hear you brother. I’m a Catholic (revert) and my wife is Lutheran. Our children are all baptised Catholics. But my wife seems obstinately set on her side of the Tiber. It is such a heavy cross to bear. Hang in there brother. Please pray for me and my family - I’ll do the same for you and yours. God bless ✝️
During my formative years, I attended a Catholic high school run by the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolacion (OSA). This experience played a pivotal role in nurturing the seeds of faith instilled in me by my family. Regrettably, not all students who graduate from Catholic institutions maintain their Catholic faith, as they may not have received adequate training in apologetics to effectively defend their beliefs.
Yes training is needed and some of that must come from the parents. Don’t leave it all up to Catholic institutions. Much of my mother’s side of the family including my mother fell away bc they didn’t understand the faith.
😭Thank you Keith & Erica! I am crying because i have 2 kids my daughter name is Erika. We are cradler catholic, but my daughter move to FL and leafed our faith. It been so so hard for us, it been a big separation. when i hear this testimony it give me so much hope, i wish i could send her this video, but it just make our relation worse. Plese pray for her, family. now her husband is a paster.😰😭. God bless you and your family💞💯
All of you here please.... offer one rosary for my sons conversion and return to faith where he was...who wanted to build the largest church in my home town, who wanted to be a priest.. who wanted to be an apostolic preacher, who was translating the ancient christian books... is in captivity of evil power... please pray My Mother Mary will deploy the Holy angels to rescue him...Past 4 months not even a single day I dont cry for him... 🙏🙏🙏
Keith. great podcast. You’re a terrific interviewer. Thank you for becoming Catholic. You’re a great gift to the Catholic Church Your podcasts teach and inspire me
I’ve been a Catholic my entire life (I just turned 70) and I never get tired of hearing these wonderful conversion stories. I’m so glad I found your channel. It’s very uplifting. I also watch on TV Catholics Come Home and the Journey Home which is also very inspiring. Thank you for getting the word out.
I cried many times hearing this beautiful testimony. Soft tears, silent tears, I don't know why. I am touched about how God calls every person in such a unique way. I am also a converted but from my own catholic faith. I said yes to God 26 years ago. I who was looking outside, meditation, reiki, astrology, so many things. Just to find out that I had EVERYTHING in the Catholic Church. I rememberd to say to myself: wow, but my Church has everything ! And it's free ! And it's simple. And I started the same way. I started going to mass every sunday no matter if the priest was boring or not, I made that promise to God, to go every Sunday to Mass. And pray the Rosary, me , who had registered casettes with "mantras" I said to myself, the Rosary is the "church mantra"! So powerful and so easy! No need to go with gurus or repeat things you don't understand... And reading the Bible...discovering and praying with the psaumes (psalm in english?). I pray now for other peoples's conversion, begginning my catholic family who has abandoned their faith..
Erica, you are truly blessed 🙏 What a beautiful story of conversion ❤ As a lifelong Catholic, you have given me hope to continue praying and striving for conversio in my roles as a wife, grandmother, friend, and neighbour 🙏 God bless you and your family 🙏 Thank you Keith for this amazing interview. May God continues to bless you in your ministry. Irene, London, England 🇬🇧
I must say that this interview with Erica was interesting! It felt more like a conversation rather than an interview! Thank you, Erica, for coming on the show to give us your to journey towards Christ’s Church and all its beauty! Welcome home and God bless as you continue to journey with your husband and family! Thank you, Keith, for inviting Erica on the show!!
What a beautiful conversion story.Thrilled with your statement about reaching out to Catholics -cradle and lukewarm. Re-verts need to hear your story, your current walk in Faith. I always cry at Easter Vigil, happy to see people coming into the Church. Grateful for all the gifts they bring into it, and humbled/grateful for being privileged to receive my Faith at birth. I am inspired by all you did, learned, overcame in your journey. I’m 74. If still takes work. That’s why we’re “practicing Catholics “ right? God bless you and your family always and forever.
Thanks both of you fod this video talk. I am a Catholic priest for 29 years from Myanmar. I am very much encouraged and too up motivation as well to work harder for the greater glory of Him.
Beautiful story thank you so much for sharing!! Add Eucharistic adoration one time I fell asleep for a couple minutes. I woke up when my head started to sink to the side. I was so embarrassed, but then I suddenly felt refreshed and could concentrate again on some prayers. I was reading. I knew Jesus was not mad. He gave me that little break so I could start focusing again on what’s important yesterday I was at Eucharistic adoration and I had the book with me “ a doctor at Calvary “ it’s hard to reach for me, but the person who had it before marked important sections, and that was very helpful. While I was sitting there, I could picture the torture Jesus went through. And I wanted to honor him, acknowledging all what he done for us.
This is more than a conversion story. It is really is a wonderful gift from Heaven! We have a new sister ✝️♥️🕊️🇺🇸 Welcome home and welcome to the family ♥️
I really enjoyed listening to this video.. Thanks for interviewing Erica. It was inspiring listening to her. may God bless you both and your families. (Australia)
Thousands of miles away here in the Philippines and I am deeply moved. Thank you Keith and Erica for strengthening my faith and for making my understanding of my Catholic faith clearer, better and firmer. Erica, your inner beauty and light is shining through. Praise God!
How I love to listen to your conversion story Erica. It makes me cry. And I cry whenever one realizes and appreciate the role of Mama Mary. Thank you and welcome home.
Erica, you just nailed it. "If you say Yes to God, he will provide the answers. Thank you so much. I've been waiting for all the answers first. I just realized I don't need all the answers. I need God period but I'm going to back to Mass in the morning thank you, God Bless You and your family. Keith, been so busy watching your conversion stories I haven't even watched yours yet. God bless you also please thank you so much! ❤ W
Splendidly honest testimony from this woman, thanks a bunch brother Keith for another inspiring and encouraging video keep up your good work for you’ll definitely help Catholics to learn and understand more of how God does his mysterious works to help people understand what the Catholic Church is really about Amen 🙏
That's very true! I was born Catholic, but I'm learning a lot from these conversions and becoming better at my faith. We are all on this journey of salvation together. God bless you 🙏 🙏 ❤️
I'm a cradle catholic and had a conversion during covid. My daughter's had an amazing catechism teacher. Their class was via zoom. She was a convert and was so knowledgeable. I now truly understand my faith and can continue to grow stronger in my faith with my husband and daughters.
Born and raised as Catholic . Listening this conversion stories of becoming catholic inspired me more to stay and faithful Catholic. I am so glad there is the platform like this. Beautiful and amazing story. Converts teaches me more to be a better Roman Catholic .
Wow.. Catholic faith is our journey home.I' m a Lutheran convert and I believe Mother Mary is praying for all her children to return to her Immaculate heart.Mother Mary pray for the conversion of the whole world.. Amen ❤🎉.
I love conversion stories because they re-energize me and my faith and reinforce that the Catholic faith is the truth and so special and full and Jesus is truly present, body, blood, soul and divinity. Thank you for sharing your story, Erica.
"Please bring good and faithful people to his life." I will always add this prayer for my children and family. Thanking God for you and you are helping others to grow in our Cathoic faith🙏💖
I am speechless listening to this conversion story, thank you Erica and once again Keith thank you for bringing so much into my Cradle Catholic journey. The journey doesn't end until we take our last breath. God bless you all.
I loved every second of this Blessed interview and as a cradle Catholic, I often listen to these wonderful conversion stories. I do believe that they led me back to my faith as well as what I believe God surrounding me with many Priests on X. Ever since the Saturday before Ash Wednesday when I went to Confession, I haven't missed a Mass since. God Bless You and Welcome Home, Erica. ☺🙏💖🕊✝️⛪
I do feel like converts help my catholic faith. I am extremely grateful to God for giving us converts. They are always on fire and shine light on teaching that poorly catechized catholics didnt learn and they are on fire!!! 🔥🔥🔥💯
Yeah... this is a recurring phrase I hear, that Catholics are poorly Cathecized... sort of like also Catholic Converts are more on fire. This is not always the case... ... there are well Cathecized Catholic... there could not be 1.5 billion of us if even some of us were not well Cathecised. However, it is an unfortunate reason of Catholics that convert to Protestants. So let's not lump all Catholics as not well Cathecized... many are. If you are looking to a culprit, it is sin. .... believe it or not there are also Catholics that are on fire too.... case in point, Erica's husband... is a quiet, non-pushy, slow-and-steady on fire. But there are also, on fire cradle Catholics... if not come hear the older lady that answers and sings all the songs in the church very loudly... just hear her. It will be in Spanish... though. Go to mass at a Cathedral, or attend a mass in another lamguage... You will see other on fire Catholics. Here is Los Angeles, go to Placita Olvera Church - Our Lady of Los Angeles... you will hear the whole Church answer and sing everything with NO MISSALS. So please don't try to fit Catholics into a stereotype. There's probably only one, we love the sacraments! There are even some Catholics that know the bible better than Protestants... the Marine buddy that converted Tim Staples. Any of the guys at Catholic Answers.... We may not narrow it down to one verse as Catholics. But like John 6, the Eucharist. Revelation 12, Virgin Mary is Queen of Heaven.
Thanks for sharing your conversion story, Erica! My husband is also a Missiouri Synod Lutheran so your testimony is especially meaningful to me. I have always been confident that he will convert despite his adamant statements that he will “never be Catholic”. It was fascinating to hear that you liked aspects of the Church but never admitted it. Gives me more hope to hear that! May God bless you and your family as you continue to grow in your faith!
I am a craddle Catholic but have to say this is more of evangelising to me as well. And it reminds me that in the church we all learn from and need each other. Thank you Erica. And i wish i could share more from your experiences
I teared up while listening to your conversion story, especially your husband's Granma Lucille. Being one myself, I ask Mama Mary's intercession all the time when I pray the Rosary, for my children and grandchildren, to start practicing their Catholic faith earnestly. Thank you for a beautiful interview ❤️ 🙏 ♥️
Erica and Kieth are wonderful children of God! I like the story and the way you are presenting it. I learned a lot from especially from Erica. God bless abundantly the remaining of your life.
Hi Keith & welcome Erica ,God Bless Grandma’s. I’m a mother to 3 boy once our boys were to receive their Sacrament of Confirmation ,had a talk with them before confirmation and explained to them that they should Not date out of their religion Christian Catholics ,That marriage alone was going to have obstacles & that been a practicing Catholic would help them through it 🙏🏻 different religions was going to make it more difficult. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU 🙏🏻
This was a great interview. As a craddle Catholic with a mild Catholic upbringing, I can agree with the statement about continuing to learn and grow. For too long I took my faith for granted. By continuing to learn more, I realize the Lord is calling me to apologetics!
My mother’s family is Anglican. We know our heritage to the 1100’s in Cornwall. I was raised Catholic though I never went to church until…… I heard these words in my head… Jesus is coming back & you aren’t going back with Him. I was instantly changed. I had an instant conversion. Immediately went to confession. I was 28. I am 60 now. I think I have had multiple conversions along the way. Catholism is the greatest gift my parents gave me.
Welcome Home, Erica. Your journey home really struck me, a cradle Catholics and a Eucharist Minister in my parish, to really get up and do something for the faith and for others. Thank you for sharing. And a big thank you to Keith for your ministry. I wish a continued blessing for your ministry and journey, as well as encouraging me to do my own ministry as well. God bless you both. AMDG.
Hi my husband is not Catholic. He is adamant that he will not be Catholic and we were married in the Catholic Church. He did this for me so I can return to church after I had my conversion coming back as a cradle Catholic I guess you call it I don’t know this all these names I was raised Catholic, but there were so many divorces going on that I left the faith and God gave me my conversion back then I fell again and then I came back and now I’m in all speed ahead, my husband has never asked me not to go to church. He actually drives me there, but he doesn’t go, please pray for him. His name is John.
Thank you Kieth for interviewing Erica. The interviewing was done so graciously and your questions so insightful. Erica also spoke so graciously and clearly as well. Inspirational testimony. Wonderful that the parish at Cedar Rapids encourages the parishioners to share their testimony. As a cradle Catholic this conversion story makes me appreciate the beautiful Catholic faith even more. Will be sharing this video with family and friends. God bless you Keith, Estelle and families. 😊❤💒💕💕
I’m so happy for you. I’m a cradle Catholic and feel like my faith and joy in my Catholicism is growing and strengthening all the time. I can’t imagine being anywhere else. God bless you and your family.
Incredible and beautiful interview. Keith?great job brother, this is a story of Love and lets share it to all God's Children and more and more will be drawn to the Eucharist. God bless this interview.
That's quite a line-up! Praise God!!
A professor of religion at the Catholic university my wife & I went to back in the 1970s (just before we were married) was one of the first married Anglican priests who was going through the process towards Catholic ordination as a priest. He was a Catholic Deacon when we met him.
Wow, what a beautiful life.
Wow beautiful story, thank you for sharing it’s really inspiring ❤
Is it Father Gregory?
One day at a time, my friend. 🙏

Welcome home, Brother.
Welcome home!
@barbieojeda454
AMEN, give thanks to God for giving us His blessed mother.
That's so awesome!!
how did you teach your kids the faith without it being overbearing
@@AbrahamRodriguez-gi1wk Top three: 1) My wife is a saint. Catechesis started in toddler-hood, homeschooled K-12 2) Faithful Mass attendance in reverent liturgical settings (have to seek them out) and confession. Kids learn more from seeing mom and dad living it than being told about it, especially if by an RE teacher once a week in a classroom 3) Sincerely try to live as we profess to believe.
Beautiful🥹
Wow!

@docsavage8640 you dont even know what the word church means.
Praise for Spain, we need to go back to faith, and I really think we will
Pray to St. Padre Pio and St. Teresa of Avila.

Es normal que Espana haya perdido la fe. Con Concilio Vaticano II es lo que se pretendía.
You get to be part of the change, friend! Show your country what piety and joy in Christ looks like and people will follow you!! ❤
Oh my! I am so sorry for your loss.
Luke 1: 46-49
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant.
For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed;
for he who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his name.
So very sorry for your loss. I hope it gives you some comfort to know that he is home and will save and place for you. ❤️

Amén!
I learned more about my Catholic faith as a cradle Catholic from my convert husband Jimmy. He loves our faith and has taught me more in the last 15 years about Catholicism than I learned in the previous 40 years. -“Let mass be the reason you miss everything else!” -Hope Willis
You married well
As a single cradle Catholic woman of retirement age, I often feel sad that I'm on this journey without a partner. Well now it's nine years later and between The chosen series and a book I gave him last Easter by Trent Horn, he is back to reading the Bible and back in church, working his way towards
the sacrament of reconciliation (please help me pray for that!).

Hi 😊
I admire your perseverance. I'm sorry your parish doesn't mention about single lay people.
At my parish as well as at most livestreamed Masses, the prayer intentions mention about single laypersons. I will keep you and all the single laypersons in my prayers.
God bless you

I am a convert from 7 years ago. My message to new converts is to understand that there will come a day when you start experiencing dryness, when you're not feeling it. Know that God is closer than ever before, and you are maturing in your faith during those times. Call out to Him! He hears you. Conversion in the starting line, not the finish line. To the cradle Catholics, you have been such a blessing to me...I look to you as the example of what a Catholic journey looks like. Live your faith like someone's watching. Be bold in your ministry!
Forward boldly... like St. Joan of Arc
Welcome home!

“I felt an undeniable pull to go to Mass with my husband when I was pregnant.” Tears gushing so beautiful 🙏💕🙏God bless you both 💕🙏💕
We were always told that my dad was a convert.

Check out the book, “Born Fundamentalist, Born again Catholic” by David Currie. Maybe it can help.
If you don't even know that they no longer call the class "RCIA", then your wife should be suspicious at the get-go that you're making the wrong move by being there.

I doubt anyone would take advice from someone with your attitude.
@ThornyCrown-l5d dude I'm in the uk, it's normal to say RCIA!

I hear it called RCIA all the time. That dude is drunk.
Are you not in the hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms?”
God bless you and your families!

Right?
Amen. I'm a convert from Baptist. I was so on fire that it took me 40 years to get the fullness of the truth in the Catholic Church

My wife is LDS and I'm currently going through OCIA. She has been super supportive. Please pray for us.
Loved it!
Hi Erica, welcome to the Catholic Church. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless and grant you grace.
Welcome home Erica, i cried with joy ❤❤❤
@@danieledmonds2857 I will gladly pray for yours! Thank you!
❤ @ 63 male&widowed, born Catholic but always at a distant, thankyou she surely opened my eyes into being a truly Catholic. Thankyou. Muchlove. John.
This is almost EXACTLY my experience. I’ll be confirmed in the Catholic Church this coming Easter!

Thanks to God and to you Keith moreso to the lady in the program. Her story is encouraging. God bless you. From
What beautiful lady, with an amazingly beautiful story🙏 I’m having tears of joy and non stop goosebumps. God bless y’all 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for sharing and coming to home sweet home. Praying for you and pray for us!
Yay!! Welcome home Sister Erica!! God bless you and your family!!❤️🙏🏻✝️
I am a craddle Catholic but have to say this is more of evangelising to me as well. And it reminds me that in the church we all learn from and need each other. Thank you Erica. And i wish i could share more from your experiences
Beautiful testimony. When the truth is put before you it’s hard to deny it!
Erica's story is worth the listen.
Erica and Kieth are wonderful children of God! I like the story and the way you are presenting it. I learned a lot from especially from Erica. God bless abundantly the remaining of your life.
What a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing. May the Lord bless you and keep you and your family. I will pray for your son's continued healing.
Amazing! I am in a mixed Christian faith marriage, so this was a fantastic listen. Erica, you are a tremendous speaker / communicator too!
Love this program. Thanks for your testimony. Bless you all.
My mother’s family is Anglican. We know our heritage to the 1100’s in Cornwall. I was raised Catholic though I never went to church until……
I heard these words in my head… Jesus is coming back & you aren’t going back with Him.
😊❤💒💕💕
Beautiful interview. Conversion IS a lifelong process!! God bless you both ❤🙏
This was the most meaningful, for me, conversion story.
