The lions worst is based on the original vfa/vfl Fitzroy guernsey. The lions had offended the FFC by not honouring the merger agreement by dropping the original lion in 2010, and putting the “paddle pop lion” on the guernsey. I think the Brisbane lions wanted to mend the relationship with the FFC by making this new clash guernsey in honour of the original Fitzroy guernsey. Pretty sure the lions were against not having the gold lion logo on it, which made it to busy.

Round 14 2009 Fremantle vs Carlton at Subi oval, the blues basically wore a Claremont jumper it was Yellow with the CFC it was really wired.
