- 2 videos in a day which is a first and in this video i will be ranking AFL Mascots which is something quite different and unique so credit to Riley Jones for the suggestion
I won't be using TierMaker in this video but rather rank my favourites from 18th-1st

The Essendon mascot is a mosquito to pay tribute to the premiership sides of the 1920s that was dubbed the mosquito fleet
And it also wears pilot gear to reference the fact that it is the pilot of a bomber plane.

The real bulldog was called sid, he has been around the club for ages but then eventually he got very old. Then the bulldogs got a new brand new real dog called caesar.

The Essendon one is mosquito becuase of the mosquito fleet in the 80s and 90s of the small forwards at Essendon and so they made that there mascot
Essendon mascot is a mozzie because there was a bomber airplane used in war called the mosquito
