- Our highlights from around Puerto Viejo: Costa Rica has a lot of cool things to offer, such as rafting, hanging bridges, rainforests and ziplines. But at some point you'll probably want to spend some time relaxing at the beach! And when it comes to beach towns, you'll also be spoilt for choice. At first you'll even have to decide which coast you want to visit, the pacific or carribean. Or both of course if you've got the time - which we didn't. So we decided to explore the carribean side and for us it was the perfect choice. From the food, to beautiful nature and of course the beaches. We had a great time exploring the laid back beach towns on the carribean coast and in this video we'll show you our highlights.

Nice video! I like to go to Punta Uva every year around October (one of the months with the best weather on the Caribean side). Tortuguero is beautiful if you want to see more animals while you navigate on the canals.

Al beaches are public in Costa Rica and there are entrances to all those beaches along the main road
